Clean, safe, and secure. My lock was waiting for me inside the unit and all communication from the site manager was clear and easy to follow. It was easy to move my items in and so far everything seems great.

My experience with two different sites in charlotte market has been amazing. Friendly and helpful staff, clean units, and easy access to my unit. This may sound trivial but they actually have enough carts to move your stuff to and from your unit. Usually located and parked next to the door.

The good: New, great location & site manager very helpful. (Tanner is the best!) The bad: Less than 90 days into rental, received notice of rate increase. A 46% price jump. Maybe its a surcharge for all of the vacant space/open air in the unit. A renter can abide by all rules...never create any trouble...and the business will still stick it to ya. So just remember: new is nice - but nice has a price. ***Response to owner: When you endure a house fire and need storage while picking up the pieces of your life (as in my case), remember the rate adjustment and how it affects someone who has lost so much already.

After an unfortunate incident with a family member, Tanner followed all of the necessary steps to recover his items that were left in storage. Place was great saved all my items for my crazy ex would recommend again. None of my items were on fire or covered in gasoline. airtight space constantly air conditioned at no point that I ever worry about my items ever being in danger. would absolutely recommend to my friends especially if theyre going through all of a sudden heartbreaking breakups where youve done nothing wrong everything right like Captain Picard has said but yet it just doesnt work out. seriously this was an extremely nominal option compared to the rush of everyday life and I would recommend this to friends who just simply need a place to store the items or who are going through hardships. The staff was welcoming and inclusive every answer to every question I had was given in a light and adamant manner. Thank you again for the opportunity hopefully next time itll be under more predictable circumstances.

I have been using extra space storage for over two years and have had excellent experiences the entire time. From moving items in and out to changing storage sizes, everything I needed from the staff at extra space storage was provided in a timely manner and with great customer service! This last time, Tanner helped me move to a smaller unit. He was able to find one right across from the one I already had! So convenient. The facility is very clean and I feel safe every time I go there due to the pass code entry needed in several spots. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs extra storage space.

I spoke to Ashley both of the times that Ive contacted this location in regards to my storage rental. She has always been attentive and profession and has made this process so easy. The facility is in a convenient location. I highly recommend this storage facility for your storage needs.

Security is great, amenities are great. Cant beat the price either.The one issue I had was that there was one day I came in, and both elevators were out of service. Even for the stairway entrance, the door handle to my floor was broken. Literally couldnt access my unit.Ill take that day as an anomaly though; I was able to come in the next day and get what I needed. If I ever need another storage space Im using Extra Space again.

Extra Space Storage 4601 South Blvd, Charlotte Exceptionally clean, well-organized, and conveniently located. Moving to Charlotte from New England and needed a place to store some belongings before the final move and finding a place to live. Searched all the storage facilities in the area, checked out the reviews and chose this one, often difficult from such a distance. Drove down and was ultimately pleased, the reviews were correct. Great facility and pleased with entire process. A special shout out to my man Tanner excellent customer service, went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and completely comfortable with the facility, process and unit I chose. All the processing was handled over the phone, so it was super easy and convenient, especially during this time. The facility has multiple gated entries, making it very secure. FYI you will need to have some type of insurance on your storage goods, but otherwise I recommend Extra space Storage!!

We’ve been stuck living in apartments for some years, and have no choice but to keep some of our stuff out of the way in storage. Also when I was in college I kept a storage unit. I’m not going to turn this into a negative review of my worst experiences with storage. Let’s just say I’ve got a good range of comparison, including one horror story.I’ve been happier with Extra Space than any other storage place. This facility is clean, secure, and (for me) convenient. The staff have been helpful and easy to work with. My only complaint is with my fellow customers, who sometimes take all the carts and refuse to share one even for a moment, or park right in front of the doors, making my own entrance/exit difficult. But other than that, this place is great. I’d rent from Extra Space again.

The online process could not be easier. Unlike their competitors, they do not try to force you into getting their insurance. They give you a clear way out and you just have to provide proof of coverage through your homeowners or renters insurance.The facility looks brand new and is very clean, organized, and as secure as possible! You need your gate access code to do anything, including get inside the building or get on the elevator.Best of all, the staff is awesome! It was great speaking with Ashley who was very adept at getting everything finalized and providing me with that comfort that this Extra Space location knows what they’re doing. I highly recommend.

I always feel safe using my storage at all hours. Many security checks asking the way. Edwin was great to work with! I arrived 20 minutes before closing on a Saturday, he was with another customer until 5 minutes til. He stayed late giving me the full tour to make sure my space was size appropriate, and allowed for a seamless move the following day. Highly recommended this place!

I’m new to Extra Space Storage, but so far I am very impressed! From the moment I decided to rent a space online, Edwin Vargas, the store manager, was super helpful and friendly. He made what could have been a stressful day easy and enjoyable. They have many ways to keep your personal items safe and the facility is very well-maintained. I highly recommend this company, and specifically this location due to their store manager, Edwin. Will tell family and friends about it.

The turning in directly from South Blvd can be tricky, especially during rush hour or when traffic is heavy. Clean facility with large freight elevator providing ample room for moving larger bulky items to the second floor. Secure and well lit

Good storage place, easy access for a straight truck. Elevators are big, only thing Id change is the fact that you cannot have the elevater door open long or it will imobilize the elevator!

When we arrived, Tanner stopped by to see if we needed anything, there were 4 dollys ready to go, and our unit was spotless. Tanner even placed the lock I purchased inside the unit so everything was entirely contactless. Access to the unit is incredible easy with multiple entrances and the entire place was spotless. I used the unit for about 6 months. No mess, no fuss. I had a lot of random old art in the unit so I wanted something that was climate controlled. Once I got everything out, it was all in as good of condition as when I put it away! For the price I would definitely recommend.
