PROPANE SERVICE REVIEW;UPDATE: I came back the follow Saturday and rang the service bell. Within 5 minutes, an employee had come to fill up the tank. I am much more satisfied with the service then I was the previous Sunday.It’s hard to review the service when you didn’t receive any service. I walked inside and was met with a friendly employee who told me to meet another employee outside for the refill. I stood for roughly 25 minutes outside by the propane refill station. I rang the service bell twice. Eventually, an employee driving a UHaul vehicle around the lot told me it would be just a few minutes. After another few minutes of waiting, I left. It didn’t seem very busy at all; it was a Sunday around 3:30pm. In fact, it looked like I was the only potential customer there. I’ll try them on a different day and update this review then.
They customer service suck bad very rude people working there and the manager is THE WORSE she’s incompetent as ever! I’ll never return to u haul I recommend everyone to budget they are very professional. I wish I can give -5 stars
Ive been at the storage unit for several years and seen employees and managers come and go. I gave the storage unit four stars because theyre lenient and my belongings have always been safe. I cannot say the same for people surrounding my storage. The only competent employee they have is the assistant manager Kayla. Is she pretty much runs a show as a circus leader. The the manager is known to have a ugly attitude, but I honestly have never suffered from that. Again the four star comes from this unit being a sentimental to me and a significant place marker of different events in my life due to being here for over half a decade. I never rented a truck but the units are worth it if youre looking for safety privacy and and a good value.
I booked online and requested 8 hours starting at 1:30pm. When doing this online, it did not inform me of any issues with that time frame, and it just said that if we returned the truck after closing time, we could use our phone to confirm that it was returned (and that there would be no extra charges that way. Only a $20 fee to have an employee confirm the next day). When my husband picked up the truck, we were told at that point that it had to be returned by 8pm because it was reserved first thing in the morning the next day. At that point we did not have time to pursue an alternative. We tried our best, but this was just not feasible with our move. I called to let them know we were running just a little late (ended up returning at 8:20), and was told “that’s fine we’ll see you when you get here”, even though they didn’t sound too happy about it. There were still people there when we got there, and a male employee gave us a thumbs up through the window when we dropped the key in. We were still charged $20 for the “after hours service fee” when we probably would have done things differently to avoid that or honestly would have paid more and just dropped it off closer to where the move was. $20 is not the end of the world but it’s the principle that we were charged for their website and location not being on the same terms. This was not our mistake to pay for or we may have chosen to do things differently if we were made aware ahead of time.
I have used this location several times and have always had a good experience. The trucks are well maintained and they have plenty of reasonably priced items to assist with packing or loading the truck. I have noticed some people have given sub-par reviews; however, I would note its called YOU Haul for a reason... the communication, execution & planning is on you.

Worst in customer satisfaction!!!! DO NOT GO THERE!! A fat guy named Danny should definitely be fired. He didn’t even acknowledge when we walked in, or asked if we needed help. Just stood there on his phone, there was another customer waiting on his receipt which apparently took more than 10 minuets to print for whatever reason. He got tired of waiting and finally just walked out. I was up next, fat Danny didn’t say I’ll be right with you or anything he just stared at his computer. Finally, I asked do you have any 10’ available. He said you’re going to have to give me a minute. Well I don’t want to waste my time I said. He said well then no I don’t have anything left, there’s reservations on everything with the worst attitude. This is my second time renting from them. And what they don’t realize is that the customer is always right and he has to be fired!!!. Better yet they should go ahead and shut this place down.
I didnt end up purchasing anything, was able to find free box I needed in bin BUT older female customer was there giving rep a nasty hard time over something he clearly had no control over. He stayed calm and did what he has to but she was DEFINITELY in the wrong
Only used the U-Haul rental service. There were 3 people working and was greeted very nicely and was helped in a timely manner. As far as renting a U-Haul it was quick and easy, as well as having 24 hour drop off.
Theyre lucky to ever have more than two people working at a time. Often it is just one person there. Scan card used works about 50% of the time and has to get reprogrammed. I actually bought a copper sleeve to put it in because they said I was not storing it properly. That still did not work. Im being charged a 24-hour access fee. However, Ive only been able to use that twice in 2 years because of key card issues.
NIGHTMARE!!! If I could give this ZERO stars I would. We used their U box services to move from NY to NC and it has been a complete Nightmare. First they delivered our box to the wrong location, then they charged me more then agreed upon and now they scheduled the unloading date incorrectly and cannot get my box ready in time for my movers who are already booked. The manager had the Audacity to blame me for the incorrect shipping location because THEIR third party movers did not know that the Uhaul location did not have the correct unloading dock for Uboxes. I somehow was supposed to know this information. I should be able to trust that the people UHAUL HIRES to move their u boxes knows what they are doing. They moved my box to the correct place finally and after MULTIPLE calls to confirm pick up dates and employees who have given me heart-attacks left and right telling me my box wasnt there or they couldnt find my reservation when i call I am being told that i cant access my box. I am convinced they lost my box and are giving me the run around. Not one person will Confirm they have my box. They are just telling me that they cant even get my box out within 48 hours like they promise because of construction on their warehouse. You would think they would offer delivery at this point but the manager Isis told me that she went out of her way to get the Ubox to the correct place and basically too bad I cant get my box in 48 hours. Out of your way? It was their mistake not mine! They are unorganized and do not keep their promises or scheduled times. Here are some other companies to use instead: Budget, Penske, Rush Enterprises or Hertz!! I use Penske on my last move and they truly know how to do business and how to treat customers. I will never use UHAUL AGAIN!
Absolutely the worst customer service ever.
Great Experience - I rented very large uhaul trucks from this location twice during my move to Belmont. The staff was professional, the trucks were clean, and they made they turn in process super easy. The bathrooms were clean and they had extra boxes I bought for a really reasonable price. Overall, thrilled that they were so close to ABF shipping and my new home!
Excellent customer service (especially Hayleigh, shes great!). Have rented trucks twice from this location and have had a great experience - both trucks were ready as scheduled and check in/check out was quick. Recently rented a storage unit and the facility is super clean, secure, and well lit.
Rented a car Hauler for ONE day. Supposed to cost $62.92. Due to rain, we were 2 hours & 15 minutes late. They tacked on another $84.37 to our bill for being late. Talked with Manager on Sunday Jan. 12th, said it was not her fault that I was LATE. She could NOT explain why my bill MORE than DOUBLED for 2 hours & 15 minutes
The girl at reception had an earphone in the whole time listening to music. Mumbled the entire time, took a personal call while helping me. Then gave me the wrong tow dolly cause she wasnt paying attention before. Terrible customer service
Ive used this place a few times while moving. They always have the truck size for my move. Easy to drop off truck too.
I had an issue with an incorrect date returned but the Manager corrected it. Will rent again from this location.
Extremely poor service. Propane not calculated right. Employee did not know how to use point of sale equipment. It took 27 minutes to complete the transaction. Even then I left without change from my purchase. I will not return to uhaul for any reason.
This is one of THE WORST run storage facilities Ive EVER been to! Their customer service is by far, the worst on all of Wilkenson Blvd! This location has been through at least 5 managers in the 2 yrs Ive had my storage here. Ive had enough of the problems, property damage, miscommunication and poor leadership. Clearly, theres major dysfunction within the company for the turnover to be SO HIGH. I didnt have access to my unit for 3 months because management was too lazy to figure it out, I was overbilled more than once, because there is no communication between managers and no notes on my account. I even tried to get into the secured area to access my unit and there were pitbulls greeting me at the fence. Because they allowed a customer to let their dogs loose... Buyer beware. Storage units here suck, and management has no home training.
Love this location. Hayley helped me with a wiring harness kit. Awesome!

Terrible.. rented a unit today, poor customer service. The guy at the counter didnt know what he was doing when a customer left he said good. We never got shown the unit. When we got there to look at it the walls were rotting and there was water on the walls and puddles on the floor.. couldnt get ahold of anyone to resolve.. go somewhere else!!!

Very poor, unprofessional and a severe lack of communication. We tried to get a trailer hitch installed two times. Scheduled it out, arrived and not one person new about it both times. Save yourself and your time. Go elsewhere.
