Dont be fooled. Just because they look busy doesnt mean they are not helpful, or not watching. Staff here are eager to help. Friendly. Personable! Oh.. and turning on your hazard-lights here means, I need some assistance. And they will be right over to your blinking-hazard-lighted car.But dont break the rules! Or they will draw every other persons attention to what youre doing wrong. In other words, they can be that loud at quite a distance, watching !So funny sometimes! Especially if you know better, neighbor! he he he . . .

It would most helpful if there were signage letting you know the price of the mulch/compost, where to pay for it, and how to have it loaded. Totally confusing as it is now.

Lady at the scale station was incredibly rude and short for no reason. As a new resident to Charlotte to an apartment complex that doesn’t do recycling (bummer) I read up on where I can take my recycles. Website says you need a sticker in order to recycle/dispose waste for no fee as a resident.Someone by the brick building saw me confused and directed me to the scale house; I’m thankful for his help & willingness to help.Spoke with the lady there and she just seemed annoyed by the fact I asked about the sticker and asked about the fee. she informed me that I don’t need a sticker and there wouldn’t be a fee but the whole interaction was as if I should’ve known better. She told me where to go and promptly told me have a nice day before I could even say anything.Thankfully I probably won’t have to interact with her again but I would suggest she get over herself.

It would be nice if this place updated their hours of operations. Both Google maps and their phone answering machines says theyre open today, and when I arrive the gates are shut so Ive wasted over an hour of my day.

I went for the bagged mulch. I was very confused where to go. You need to go through the weigh station first and pay for your bags. Then proceed to the covered area in the recycling area near the exit. Multiple staff members showed up to assist me in loading the bags. The area was overall very clean with attentive staff. I think better signage about how to buy the mulch would be helpful.

We did go to the facility for shredding some of ourDocuments. But the whole trip was waste of time. They had informed from the county site on20 th March 2021 from 1 pm to 2 pm.At the site the security guard said that the eventWas from 8 zm to 12 noon. We asked that probablyWe must have called before coming. He said that the dont pickup the calls.I am very unhappy with them.

I’m here or at the Foxhole dozens of times over the course of the year and am pleased with how easy it is to dispose of yard waste. This is a well run, efficient place to dispose of yard waste and SOME household items. There is a clear list of things they will and won’t accept. You follow the list and this place is great. You don’t follow the list, hope they’ll make an exception for you, you’re just wasting your time.

This place is a total RIP Off if you bring in tree trimmings or yard debris to be turned into mulch they charge you and then they turn around and sell the same for profit after not disclosing the fees even on their website not even worth the one star the system makes you give. Dont use the burn you trash a d debris

Staff is awesome! You can bring your yard waste (grass clippings, leaves, branches/trees) and it will be turned into mulch and compost. Residents and businesses can purchase mulch and compost. Also, residents can bring items to recycle (cans, bottles, cardboard) along with used motor oil, old refrigerators and tvs. Very cool and brand new establishment.Tours can be arranged. Just call ahead and schedule.

Big, beautiful place with LOTS of room to dump, but signs/cones guiding you thru the facility are confusing. Dumpsters are hard to dump into due to a restrictive fence that you throw your debris thru.

I pass by here 3-4 times a day. Ever since they opened this facility, there are always piles of mulch and branches in the main road. They should be held responsible for cleaning it up. And the people living around it, complain of the horrible stench. Terrible city and/or county planning to put this in such a residentially dense area..............
