Was recommended by friends. Good work, price seems reasonable for the first time getting head work done. Timing belt broke so had valves checked and cleaned. Id recommend taking in your gasket kit in with your head.

I have done business with Allen and the guys at Arrow for a few years, and I have consistently been impressed with their fast turnaround times, ability to meet my requests / specifications, and for being a good value.I rebuilt my SR20 last fall and had a pretty tight window to do it in, and they accommodated me without hesitation. When I went back to have the wrist pins replaced due to their mileage, Allen walked me through what I had and said they were good, and that pressing in new ones might not come out as nice as what I already had. He checked each one and polished them up for me at no charge.Most recently I asked them to machine a lightweight flywheel for me, and it only cost me $33 bucks out the door and that included removing and reinstalling the pins. The flywheel was from a 4cyl 2.0l and was not stepped in design.They are my first choice for a machine shop in Chattanooga.

Yet again great work and this go around they worked really well with my military schedule and where very patient as I had very short time periods to drop parts off and pick thing up

Gave one price on the phone and then another price in person. Talked down to my friends wife who took cylinder heads and a block to be machined. Very rude and manager does not care about the way his employees talked to us and was not interested in finding out what happened. Avoid at all costs. Whats really upsetting is how everyone praises their work. Im sure they do great work they just do not care about customer service.

They do not stand behind their work. Took a duramax head to them to have it checked. I had one cylinder on the engine dumping raw fuel and collapsed rings. I took head off and honed cylinder put new rings and piston in and take the head to arrow to make sure it’s good. They say it’s good I put it back in and pressure test the #6 cylinder again and I have leakage from exhaust port. I call them and tell them this and they tell me I didn’t tell them to check the valves. Now I have to buy another head gasket and take the head somewhere else. Piss poor customer service.

I had them do some work on a cylinder head for a Toyota Landcruiser. They did a great job, the price was great and the turnaround time was fairly quick. I will use them the next time I need machine shop services.

I have a 66 Pontiac Lemans with a 326. I needed to get a wrist pin replaced for a piston. Dropped it off around 9:15 and picked it up before 11:00.

Had them press some pistons on . I dropped them off at 1 or so.They said it would be the next day .grabbed a bite to eat and almost home they called back at 345 or sooner and said there done thanks .now thats service .and only 8 bucks per piston. thats service .
