Very quality work, George & Bobby are extremely knowledgeable about engine building and have helped me with 3 different builds over the years. They definitely dont rush their work, so expect to wait a while for some jobs, but you will get quality results.

They do great work. I do a lot of work on chevrolet LS engines and they do all my head work. I always trust that the heads are in good shape when I put them on and they havent let me down!

I have used these guys and gals for years . Top notch really know there stuff and a really rare thing these days they are HONEST ! Dont let yourself down take your stuff here it will be right when you get it back..

(Absolutely negative) I was told by Jeanette that every time I called or came in there I was a problem. I never set foot in that place until today and when I said Ill never come back she said I hope not, how rude can you get. she turned me over to the owner after being on the phone for at least seven to eight minutes talking to someone about nothing. I know everything there is to do about machine shops and when he lied to me and then counter dicted himself I just said I would like my money back and he responded, to hell with that. I am the co-owner of German Autohaus of Chattanooga, a local European repair facility. We exclusively use Roberts & Sons for all of our engine machining needs. They have always cranked out top-notch work in a timely manner. Communication is 100% with every single job. Being family-owned, the level of knowledge contained within that facility is amazing. Whey always come through in a pinch and know the ins-and-outs of even the lesser-common BMW, Mini, Volkswagen, Audi and Mercedes engines. A+ with six stars is it was possible.

Love the work they do but wish they did porting for heads

I took a block with the Pistons still in it to have everything cleaned up after the engine had suffered from water intrusion. The guy in the shop was super friendly and said hed check everything out and call me if he saw any problems. They took 3 weeks to finish and never called me once to let me know what was going on. When they finally told me it was ready I showed up and payed and when they brought the Pistons out they were totally trashed yet they cleaned them and charged me anyway without ever calling to let me know there was a problem or ask if I wanted to continue!
