The man checked my truck and told me I needed pads and rotors, which I already knew. He told me it would be $389.99 “out the door”. I told him that was fine. After about 60-90 minutes, he tells me I’m ready, and I go to pay, and he tells me $458and change!! Then he tells me that he said 389.99 plus tax. I get my receipt, and he charged me not $389.99, but almost &420 !! There is a charge for shop supplies on my receipt!! So, they lied twice, and managed to steal an extra $70 from me. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because I couldn’t give them a negative number!! Do not use these ppl!! They are dishonest, have hidden fees, and gouge you out of your money!!

***This service did take place at the Brainerd Road location.***My cars a/c system wasn’t blowing. Even brought my own part and told them it wasn’t working and what I had tried. They put the part on, charged me $55 for “hourly labor” and only had to take off a single screw to put the part on, only for my a/c to still not be functioning properly. What’s the purpose of accepting the car if it’s going to be partially fixed and not tested?

We had our car towed to Brakes 4 Less due to a hose busted on the power steering which also made the belt come off. Had the car in their shop for about a month due to not making alot of money to pay full bal but we made payments on it. We made final payment and got the car back. We notice the battery indicator was on and it stayed on then because the car wasnt being charged, everything was going wonky. We got a jump and took it back to shop. The nice man told us what we needed and tighten the battery down at no charge. But my husband notice that right after it was leaking power steering again but more. Did they not fix the initial problem to begin with? My husband called and they was like bring it back and theyll look at the issue but I honestly felt it was a bit scammy because weve had that done before at these seemingly honest hard working places but then you end up paying more than they quoted and it just seems odd to me that you would have decent mechanics that seem knowledgeable but come to find out that our leaking power steering was on the other side where a bolt wasnt tighten down. Like who tf does that....nothing good comes from shady work. We got it fixed amongst other things we found that was wrong that couldve been intentional or it could have been existing. Idk know but NEVER again will I allow another mechanic place take advantage of us again. They really need to be careful in doing dishonest work cause you can cause a person to lose control of their vehicle if you dont fix it right the first time.

My car had broken down in Chattanooga. I got it towed to Brakes For Less on Brainerd because I had good experiences with the Brakes For Less in Hixson. They started on my car on Wednesday March 31st. They told me it was the fuel pump assembly. Was quoted $600 + tax. Was charged $750. Okay. Whatever. As long as my car is fixed. Got the car back a week later on Wednesday April 7th. Didnt even make it a mile down the road and the thing broke down. THEY DIDNT EVEN TEST DRIVE MY CAR TO SEE IF THE FUEL PUMP FIXED THE ISSUE. I HAD TO BE THE ONE THAT THE CAR BROKE DOWN ON. I was dropped off and no longer had a ride back home. I had to be at work that morning, so I was banking on my car being fixed, which I was told it was. They towed the car back to the shop, thankfully without charging me, and I sat for almost 2 hours while they recharged the battery. The car started back up. Told me I was good. Same thing, the car broke down half a mile down the road. Ridiculous. Ive now paid $130 to have my car towed to these guys, and they sucked $750 out of me for a fuel pump assembly that didnt even fix my issue. Ive been calling them every day for the past three weeks to look at my car and they keep saying they cant find the issue. The finally say theyre gonna tow it somewhere else to get it fixed because they dont know the issue. Next thing I know, they say they fixed the issue, but now its gonna cost me ANOTHER $300!!! What is this? You guys wasted my time for hours, made me call out of work because I was banking on my vehicle being fixed, which you told me it was, and now you want another $300 from me? Terrible service. Ridiculous communication, and kept my car for over a MONTH. I had to buy another car because of how long they had mine. Youll never catch me here again. DO NOT GO HERE EVERRRRR!!!!

The drive thru oil change is a great concept! Sat in my car and watched them work on a camera screen mounted in front of me. Staff was polite and fast. Out in 20 minutes. Highly recommended.

They damaged all 4 of my new rims down to the metal and grounded all of my bolts and left one off! Not safe at all!

It was an abnormally hot day and the dog (Nelly Ruth) and I were travelling down Moore Road. We bypassed the McDonalds (that location is NASTY) and proceeded onto the Brake Shop for an oil change. I was hesitant at first, but their warm acceptance of Nelly Ruth (my dog) helped to win me over. They also did a great, quick job on the oil change. They do not sell Dipping Dots. I was back at home watching my Soap Operas by 12:30 pm EST, which is a good, Christian time to watch television.

The guy that cut my grandson hair name was DeJuan I didnt tell him that my grandson was artistic my grandson wouldnt stay still was moving his head and also started crying if the DeJuan got frustrated he didnt show it he cut my grandson as fast as he can and got us out of there I would like to say thank you to the barber at The Cutting Edge for having so much patience with my grandson hope to see you soon thank you

You can not go by prices on the wall! Thought it was only brake pads needed. Nope needed rotors, pads . So a good close to $450. I was expecting $150 to $200. But its fixed and it is fixed right. No grinding or squeaking anymore.

Not a good place at all they RIP me off so I went to budget breaks and they explained so much more to me than breaks for less everyone needs to go to budget breaks they got better service I had parts come off my car and budget breaks took care of my car the right way the technicians know what there doing at budget breaks. Breaks for less will mess your car up like they did mine service was rude at BREAKS FOR LESS and slow AF

Came in to this store needing brakes. I found out I also needed rotors. I was quoted around $300. I had to wait a few days until payday, as I wasnt expecting to pay for rotors in addition to the brakes. Came back, had the work done and when I was checking out, I was told my total was $450. I told them I was quoted a different number, and in return they told me tough luck.DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE BUSINESS.THEY ARE BOTTOM DWELLING, PREYING ON THE POOR, SCUM.

I had a very bad experience at the brake shop. They installed my screws that holds the rotors in place in the wrong holes which broke the wheel stud over time.I took it back they fixed that but when I had it inspected at a different shop I was told the pads on the front that brakes for less installed were in the wrong place the inside was on the out and outside on the inside. If the manager had taken the wheels off when I took it back for a squalling I was hearing when brake are applied they might have fixed it. They also used no lube on the hardwareI would never go back if they gave me free brakes

Was told the cost was plus tax. When i went to pay they added $40 + for shop fee. Oil change they did they put the wrong weight oil in. They are dishonest or at best misrepresenting their service.

Wanted a of $120/for labor to do a 30 job...No Thanks..mum

A part to my car was beat off of the brakes witrh a hammer. I do not advise ever coming to this place for brake work.

I was almost pressured into spending $300 just for front brakes. I was told my rotors needed to be replaced and when I asked twice that they not be replaced due to my budget, I was refused. I was literally crying in the office and had to have someone call the office and demand the rotors be put back on my car. I felt very taken advantage of and will not be returning.

Was doubled what they quoted me and tried to force me to buy parts I didn’t need I will not be back
