I went to the store to pick up a phone that was paid for on line, then I was told by the manager Justin Stinnett that he would not assist me to pick up the phone unless I paid for another new phone from him. Absolutely the worst service I have ever received. He had no empathy for me, and did not care that I was told by the customer service to drive 40 min. to his store to pick it up. He is a reflection of your organization and although I have been a loyal customer for 11 years I truly believe I am going to be changing companies.

Followed the in-store employee directions and moved 6 lines from T-Mobile. I was supposed to qualify for a $650 credit per line. Employee lied and now we are out $3900. Company is only giving us the run around. I will ask for supervisors and they promise to fix it but nothing happens. No change after almost four months. Do not trust the employees or the company. Worst customer service. I will keep pushing this until I see a resolution.

Complete scam. In-store the play more unlimited plan is 45 dollars per line, but on my bill, it was 50 dollars per line. I called customer service to see if this was a mistake, they said it wasnt and that it cant be fixed. Why is the store falsely advertising that the plan is cheaper than the actual cost? Why is Verizon putting out false advertisements? I am very disappointed in Verizon, I will be switching back to my old provider.

As a new customer I’m not impressed with my first experience with Verizon, it’s giving me T-mobile vibes already. So I placed an order for a new phone Friday to pick up at the store and the email stated I had 4 days to pick up. Well, I went to pick it up on the 4th day only to be informed they canceled on the third day after waiting almost an hour. How was I suppose to know this information when the email stated otherwise? I decided to just go through the purchase in store since I waited forever, but this first experience has me questioning if I made the best move to Verizon. I’m giving it two stars for location, but the busyness and stupid cancellation will make me avoid it entirely.

Literally waited 30 minutes for the guy to tell me that he couldn’t order for me in store and I had to do it myself. Keep in mind that the store in Ooltewah was going to but i had to fix something with my account. Fixed it, came here and got told to take care of it. Will not be coming back

The worst experience I have ever had in a Verizon retail store. Went in the store to see about an upgrade on 3 lines. We were told we could do everything online. The employees were annoyed that we had even come in the store. Every question I asked the answer was its online. Absolutely awful. I will never go back to the Hamilton Place location. Thanks Verizon

Went to upgrade phone today guy name John said he would sell me the phone and send me out the door refuse to help me set it up or change everything over for 1000.00 phones and almost 200.00 a month plan you would think you could get 20 minutes worth of help at a company store but not here.I asked to see a manager he was more rude and unhelpful than the salesman only word you can use sorry there sorry reps for Verizon.All they care about is getting there commission and money not doing their job don’t waste your time. I have been with Verizon since bag phones came out in 1990. 31years and this is how I get treated.And don’t do like you did on the mountain of other bad reviews and say you care about costumer service and give you a second that would be a lie!

I was led to believe i was going get new service and switch carriers and paid for the order got email order cancelled can not get no explanation of why, not a good experience starting off Verizon! what they should have done if there was an issue they should have called me and could have corrected the issue instead of issuing a refund by email they claim the store cancelled order so now i need the phone by monday cause of at&t outage cause i drive truck in the areas affected but now i have to wait 3-5 days for refund to order again and have the same issue again and no one cares cause if they did this issue would not have happen

I give this store a zero in customer service. The man refused to fix ( Verizons) error. We ordered a case at the Hixson Verizon and they did not enter the correct mailing address. We had not received our case. Instead of correcting the situation, he told me that I would have to drive across town to be in person at the location where it was purchased. I bet he would have been happy to take my payment though. Funny, I did not have to be in person for the lady on the phone to fix it. I think some people dont want to do their job. I recommend Comcast over these guys.

Just wanted to let anyone reading this to stay away from this store completely. I have a business account. They activated over 5 lines for me and put me in a 2 year contract on each line. I payed for every phone outright and was told this saves the most. I spoke to a business specialist at Verizon on 58 and discovered this is the worst way to do it and she even showed me how much I lose by doing it this way. Currently in the process of paying $375 to cancel the contract so I can get a new line financed with them. Terrible support, terrible service. Stay away from just this store. All the others have treated me well and very honest.Update to response: You can start by not putting lines under a 2 year contract knowing those folks will pay more overall when you told me at the store it would be more cost effective to do it without a contract. I had to pay $375 to buy out 1 of the contracts so the employee could finance a new phone. Up front and honest. What a joke. When a business account specialist literally showed me the breakdown on how much more Im spending. Not only that, I paid for 4 lines outright to save money because thats what YOU told me. Get out of here with that response. Still unhelpful, still liars, dont do business here.

My personal opinion is the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing I know its all about the money but when your told one thing on the phone and then you get to the store and they tell you that person didnt know what they were talking about thats crazy and thats game they should have honored the agreement made on the phone instead of keeping someone in the store for 4 hours while they try and sell you a much higher package truly disappointed in Verizon

I added one star back to the review due to the fact that a different store led multiple customers know that there was a covid-19 quarantine going on in that store. It would have been nice to have it labeled on the front door the reason for the closure and it was not.

I have been a customer of Verizons for over 10 years now. I honestly think you would be hard pressed to find better customer service. Any time I have gone in or called about something I am having an issue with(which is not often), they are so quick to help and make things right. I am never put on hold for hours and the staff is always so friendly. This location in particular, has always had friendly, helpful staff and it isnt a pain to have to go in.

Have been a customer for almost 20 years. Visited yesterday....not going back. Had the pleasure of speaking with the worlds first millennial cellphone BOT. She just stared at me while I asked questions. Would not answer the questions. I would reword the questions. She would roll her eyes and give short, hateful responses. All I wanted to know was the difference between an extended warranty and insurance (have never had either until this last phone). That was the entirety of our conversation ....her staring at me while I tried to ask her how to get a working phone. Turns out my phone IS covered by the extended warranty, but it seemed to upset her so much that I was there, just decided to go buy a new phone somewhere else. Ill just buy my phones online from now on. Not angry, just not worth the hassle. On top of that, was charging me a $50 upgrade fee for simply buying a new phone, which was actually a downgrade (cheaper phone). Charging ME to ALLOW me to buy myself a phone...not even adding another line, just swapping phones. Get over yourself Verizon.

I would normally give five stars for most stores I go to if they really are good. This store was very accommodating. However the representative who waited on my mom and I had a very bad habit of looking off at other things while we were talking to him. I actually almost stopped and said is there something else you need to be doing but I decided I wouldnt do that. I dont think all of the customer service people were like that but this particular one just kept looking away while we were talking to him.

I visited the store this evening for a phone that was disabled that I previously had on my account. I called customer care and they assured me that if I went into a store that a representative could help since I was trying to switch a number to the phone that was already on my account. The manager told me that I would have to take it somewhere else to unlock the phone or I could do it at home using iTunes, I let him know that I already tried that and it didnt work. He still told me that since the store didnt have a computer to help me which was a corporate store that I would have to take it to another store that was not Verizon to unlock it. Not once did he pull up my account to see that the phone was pervious on my account. I have been a loyal customer for over 4 yrs and I was very disappointed in the service. Why should I have to take it to another company to unlock the phone that I purchased from Verizon and that you could see was on my account previously. I just felt they could have helped me out more then they did instead of turning me away to pay another company to unlock the phone.After being frustrated with the service yesterday I called customer care this morning and the representative walked me thru the steps to help me unlock the phone. She went the extra mile to help me. Thanks again to Taylor.

They have good service and most the time theyre people know what theyre doing but the last few phones Ive gotten there have had nothing but glitches and then they replace them with a refurbished one instead of a new one but you still have to pay the new one price even though youre paying 17 to $19 a month just for the insurance but you still get a refurbished 1and the cheapest plan that they have for unlimited are actually just the cheapest playing. No matter how much your device payment is is $90 a month unless you get four lines or more so to be honest I switched to Xfinity and unlimited is truly $45 a month no matter how many lines you got but you have to make sure that you have Xfinity Wi-Fi thats one of the catches, but yet not a bad deal, its still a lot cheaper than Verizon but as far as service all the way around I would get Verizon a thumbs up but the price is absolutely ridiculous.

The shittiet customer service, lying salespeople and very inefficient. Once entering the door I stood around and waited then had to go on a man hunt to find the person who put people in the queue. Once I had established who it was I was assured it would only take 20 minutes but that 20 minutes turned into an hour without any help. Sales people go outside of their scope and talk with customers about their personal lives ignoring other customers. Keep it about business and move to the next one!

I have very mixed feelings about Verizon. The service coverage is excellent, but this particular store made me feel pounced upon. I went in for one item but in no time they were offering deals too good to be true and then they go back into the back room to .... not sure really but, I waited and waited and waited to finish up either with what I came in for or the new stuff they were offering and the great new deal...you see where I am going, after a while I was tired and hungry and just wanted to get out of there. After a month, once I understood what had happened I tried to take merchandise back, but they gotcha, you signed it and the penalties outweigh the savings on the return. When you go in make sure you are fully rested and fed and stick to your guns about what you want no matter what they drag out and make it sound like you can pay for it over time.

Todays visit was pleasant, Josh was very kind and explained alot of things that previous employees have straight up lied about. I was told back in March 2019 Samsung S10 was by far the best on the market. I explained in 2019 how I came about looking for a different device bc my Droid Turbo z force with attached speaker had fell in a bucket of water. Heartbroken bc I didnt have a phone 5 days and couldnt get the sims or sd card out. I did put in rice. I had precious pictures and videos that I knew I probably lost however, I was hopeful the JBL booster would work, a employee was not kind nor did he care that I was the customer and a loyal customer for 15 plus years. Smarty pants just got on my last nerve. Did I mention, I have been w/o a job or able to walk on my own for any length of times. FYI. Accident in 17, but ti get the full picture I had to show my frustration from this company. Needless to say, I left and spoke with someone and knew I had to have a phone, mother 84, so you see why I had to get the phone with better speaker as durable as the droid z force bc I fall bc of my left leg giving out. I was told samsung s10 was my best choice, no we didnt need to purchase a protector this screen want break. Infraud screen so March 2019. When all said and done 200.00 and 40.00 a month plus 45 for data, not cheap. On month two, phone locked up with my finger print sensor. Baha. The girl at store was dumbfounded but with a bit of time her finger opened my phone but wouldnt with my phone. So they replaced. I have a 100.00 speaker for the phone I really wanted that is okay but useless to me. I now have this phone without my original extra protection bc vzw wanted to charge me for another screen glass protector. So the cheap sheet that was on phone i received in May and i still owe 15 months but the screen is broke in five places and blacking out by the microphone. This has been going on a while. Im not getting my messages until days later. I went to fort Oglethorpe couple weeks ago and met Mr. Macho steroid man. Rude wasnt the word for this employee, he told me with my insurance I had to pay deductible and thats how the phone worked. Well, I am pretty sure if a car has a warranty its took care by company no deductible thats a wreck. Hello, anyway pretty boy really made me lose faith in honest people especially since we have paid our bill of over 200.00 with insurance that was a upgraded insurance for 2 years. Now I have paid 600.00 up front since 2017 when phone destroyed in wreck and other complications but the 6.99 they down graded me to doesnt cover got to pay two dollars for another phone. We have been with Verizon since they became a store, we had t mobile prepaid then came to Verizon bc of daughters need for phone driving so insurance for at least 16 years. The phone that can be beat with a sledge hammer cant be broken. Well, false advertising Samsung. Google it, Employees stated it and Hisband heard same thing, now the guy was honest today, he told me to check and see if I can pay 29.99 for screen repair. Thank you but no theres a loop hole as stated i somehow was down graded. So he said you will have to pay 200.00 for phone. Ive already spent that and more but it wasnt his fought, he did a excellent job compared to macho steroid man at fort O. So, i ended up buying the otter box which isnt cheap but with my tumbles and falls from still fighting to walk freely and not hurt so i can work to pay my medical Bills, the otterbox is the best protection. Ive had a otterbox for my razor and without a doubt, I had that phone 2 years, no damage, with exceptions of not knowing how to use. I had so many apps open that it took my salesperson 4 years ago a hour to close out all apps open. Im not young and when you try to explain you dont understand something bc of age and not computer smarts, my gripe is that Verizon has made much money off innocent people that work hard for there money to be throwed away bc younger generations dont take the time to listen and explain. Todays visit was great bc of the salesman.

I have been with Verizon for 7 years now, and always had a wonderful experience. I went to add my boyfriend on to my plan a little over a month ago and thought what was another great experience with Verizon. Boy was I very wrong. I received my bill some time later only to find out Ashley B had COMPLETELY and TOTALLY mislead me. My bill was 450$, when she told me it would be around 250$. She also quoted my bill at 150$ a month not including taxes, and later I was informed my bill would be closer to 168$ not including taxes. I have a written document with the price she quoted me on and it says 150$ on it. I am literally having to PAY for her mistake. She added up the charges incorrectly (doubtfully on accident). She is a dirty sleazy salesman and I want her held accountable for this. I am horribly unsatisfied.

I had a very critical issue with my new phone. I had been back and forth with reps from Verizon and Apple. Well the Verizon rep did everything in his power, then he got me in touch with Brian (manager), who was EXCELLENT!!! He was so kind and patient, even though I was upset. Brian was able to come up with a solution that worked out GREAT. I am thankful for him being there, not to mention all of the associates were nothing but nice to my son and I while we waited. The girl that sold me my phone yesterday, her name was Emily and she was REALLY nice and super patient, usually I dont leave reviews on anything like this but she helped with whatever I needed help with, however the guy that came over to show her something on trading my old phone in, was very rude with her, and his name was either Dexter or Daxter.. Something like that, but other than him and his attitude I had a great experience with Emily, and I hate that she had to deal with him being smart with her.I am loving my brand new iPhone 6plus!!

Sloppy sales work and uninformative. I initially went in to make sure I was getting the best plan possible. He told me I could save $10/month and walk out paying $115/month, including the new phone added to my monthly payments. I was more than happy with that. I get home and get an email from verizon, showing me my updated plan. Come to find out, the sales guy didnt do anything to change my plan. My new payments were $150/month and random fees and insurance added, none of which I asked for. I called customer service and they told me, he told you the plan you could have but he didnt actually do the work. Im 1 starring the store because the sales associates should update your plan and lay out everything that youll be paying, without having to ask them to do so. He did about 10% of his job and almost got me paying an extra $50 for the first month and an extra $35/month indefinitely. Id put zero stars due to the employees 100% lack of effort to do their job correctly. They have one task and they failed. I shouldnt have to go out of my way as the customer to make sure Im not getting screwed.

The sales person wasnt interested in solving my issue. I was needlessly overwhelmed so I walked out. I went to a different location & was taken care of without feeling bullied at all. Steer clear of this location.

Stuck and disgusted. I didnt even want to give this place one star but in order to do the review I had to give at least one. Our experiences through the years have turned out to be very upsetting. We have had several sales people who have ripped us off by adding extra charges to our account without our knowledge and have had to always call to get them fixed. But we have lost lots of money for charges we didnt ask for or want. 9 months ago we brought an extra phone not being used for over 10 years but still good added a new line for my brother and ended up getting charged for it as if it was a new phone instead. They dont even make this phone anymore and it ended up locking him out to where he couldnt use it anymore. While calling to resolve the problem we found out about all the extra charges dating back at least 10 years where we got over charged for services. This shouldnt be allowed to happen but in our area Verizon is our only option for cell phone service.

I activated a phone at this location that I purchased because their 24 month payment plans are ridiculous. The store rep did his job and I have worked with him previously. I was promised a waive activation fee since I am military and they submitted the credit for it. I HAD TO WAIT 3 MONTHS TO GET THIS CREDIT. 2 visits to the store and no resolution, apparently their managers are incompetent and were not approving the credit. I called customer service and while I was venting the lady fixed in like 2 minutes. I am done with their stores. Buyer Beware, all they want to do is sell you stuff you dont need and jack up your bill.

After being told multiple times over the phone I would have to pay another 200 dollars to get my phone fixed I decided to go into this particular store. I went in needing help after finding out I have 4 lines on my account and only approving 3 lines. A young, tall, blonde lady came up to help me. She asked me my number and I told her. She then looked at her tablet and told me she has a couple of options for me. 1 I could get the insurance to send me a new phone which would take until Tuesday to get here (which means I would have 6 days no service even though I would be required to pay for it.), 2 I could pay for my phone completely which would be 281 dollars and then pay to switch now, or 3 I could ADD ANOTHER LINE and it would be 20 EXTRA DOLLARS A MONTH.... I could not believe the options I had been given especially the last one. I would be paying on a phone THAT DOES NOT WORK and paying on a new phone hoping it never becomes broken. I left very unhappy with the customer service. She was very rude and told me she could give me the number to the insurance people. Not that it mattered very much since my phone can not work right now. Its sad that I had to travel to the Hixson store for a nice young man to help. I will never recommend Verizon to anyone ever again! Horrible company and horrible customer service.

Ive been pretty happy with Verizon overall but this store in particular is pretty awful. I was told I could try out the Hum and the Jetpack with a phone upgrade. Unfortunately, try out as defined by the sales reps here means 2 year contract. I feel slighted into paying for things I dont want or need. I will probably sell the Jetpack and Hum online and use those funds to pay the early termination fee. There are ways around the contract but Im mainly frustrated because I feel lied to and taken advantage of.
