My first experience was having to have my sons’ screen replaced on his laptop. The turnaround time was quick and the price was reasonable. My second experience was when my laptop had some kind of bug on it that I wasn’t able to get rid of. Billy was not only able to save ALL of my files on a thumb drive but he also wiped my laptop clean and replaced the memory. He also gave me the thumb drive so now I have a back up of my files. He was professional and made sure I was satisfied with the service I received.

We had our 70” Sharp TV repaired by James and we were very happy with how prompt they were in coming to the house to repair it. He was courteous and knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again. He also went out of his way to put the TV Back on the stand and hook up all the DVD players etc.

I took my computer here on black Friday 2018 to be fixed. Was told hard drive was fried the repair was quick and reasonably priced.Ordered a replacement battery while there was supposed to be in my hand in a week. Took 3 months to receive it after several calls. Also received some intimidation because of my accurate accounting of the situation.Computer problems ok.Replacement parts might want to check other places.

James at Doubleclickittofixit is the BEST! I had a terrible experience with another repair company. I sent them the laptop and it took them 3 months to return it. It was never repaired even though I paid for it to be repaired. The other shop wouldnt respond to my inquiries and finally sent it back to me, only to find that the problem was not fixed. I explained the issue to James. I sent him the laptop, and he repaired it and returned it to me within a week. This was 2 years ago and it is still in use by my daughter. Excellent customer service. Excellent communication, and above all, Excellent work! This was a common problem, an overheating motherboard, but apparently, there arent many out there who have the equipment to repair it correctly. I trust him with any motherboard issues. He guarantees his work and doesnt charge if he cant repair. GREAT experience, and will be sending him another laptop tomorrow.

Two months ago I got the black screen of death and correctly figured it was the motherboard. It was a lower end laptop, not worth rebuilding but I needed all my files. Great service here! He let me know my options, had the hardware to download my files and within a day I had two thumbdrives with all my stuff. I came back in with a second laptop with a display screen that was shot. Two days later I had THAT back with a working screen. Very helpful, we worked around some weekend hours and he has all my future business!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! James the repair person was AWFUL NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND A BAD ATTITUDE! Took my Mac to be fixed. James sent me pics showing that it was on and working, but once I got there to pick it up, it would not come on and my computer was ice cold as if it had been left in his car all night. He had my computer for 2 weeks and it is still not fixed. I had to pay $50 to get my still broken computer back and get this...when I went in to pick it up, James still had a HORRIBLE ATTITUDE!!! I run a tattoo shop in Nashville and these guys were able to fix my Apple the same day and for a great price. Called Apple and they wanted to charge me more than what the computer is worth to fix it.

I dont believe I have ever dealt with a more qualified technician than James Howell. He offers prompt service, extreme knowledge and competitive pricing for whatever your repair needs may be. His work is guaranteed (althought I have never had to take anything back that he has worked on.) I contacted several different agencies before landing James. I will say, Im still waiting to hear from some of them, and that was over a year ago. He communicates well and is very knowledgeable in his field. When Apple told me there was nothing they could do and referred to my machine as an “expensive paperweight” I went to Best Buy’s Geek Squad who proceeded to make the problem worse and still sent me away without resolution. This company is close to my house and after asking for a quote on fixing the hinges on my laptop I thought the price was good and the business was convenient so I would give them a try. I did not do my due diligence to seek out reviews for this company. I started this process at the end of June and I did not receive my computer back and fixed until late October! And that was only after I had to threaten a lawsuit and got a lawyer involved.Here are the major issues.1. Communication and Professionalism--James has the worst customer service of any individual I have met. He will not return phone calls. Would not give updates on my repair. When confronted about the lack of communication he simply said that he would no longer fix my computer. He went back on his word. He used profanity when I confronted him. He threatened me when I told him I would have to sue if he did not uphold our business agreement to fix my computer saying, If you do that, that would be the worst mistake of your life. You wont be able to walk around in this town any more if you decide to do that.2. Business practices--James requires that you pay for parts and services upfront with no guarantee that those parts will arrive nor that the services will be completed. Upon trying to fix the hinges and put a new lid on my laptop one of his employees cracked my screen. The employee did not alert me to this issue until I called to check on status (They never call you to inform you, you have to always hunt them down through a phone screening process). Once I called he said that he broke the screen and had ordered another one and that cost would be covered by them. When that new screen came in 4 weeks later, it was faulty. So they had to order another one. 5 more weeks went by and they couldnt tell me where the part was. The employee said he had a tracking number he would send to me, James said there was no tracking number. They finally got tired of me calling and asking and told me that I was out of luck and they would no longer due business with me and wouldnt even refund my money.3. Get a lawyer to make sure they at least do part of what they said. In the end I paid for the new lid and hinges and I also had to pay for half of the cost of a new screen that they broke! I agreed to pay this through my lawyer just to rid myself of this horrible experience. When I received my laptop back I had 3 screws missing on the back casing, my wifi dongle was gone, and a piece of paper wadded up in my machine.I recommend that you steer clear of James, his horrible attitude and his shadiness. I will be happy to discuss this experience with anyone who needs more information. I hope that James will change his ways.

I had concerns about the repair on my brothers HP TX2500 computer which had a common video problem due to the motherboard overheating. I search ebay but had concerns that I did not know who I was dealing with as the ads did not provide a name or business location. I did a search on the web and found DoubleClicktoFix and sent them an email. James promptly responded providing me a recommendation, provided an estimated price and how he was going to fix the unit. James was very responsive to my email and repaired and returned my unit to me in less than a week. So far so good and it is cheaper than buying a new computer. I am so glad I found Doubleclickittofixit. James was so helpful over the phone and when I came in he answered my questions about my mac. I went up to the mall to the Apple store there to show them and was told my laptop probably had water damage which needed a new logicboard. They quoted me a price over double the cost of a macbook. Doubleclickittofixit was able to fix it for $200 which included my parts. They even threw in some memory getting my laptop faster for getting it repaired.

Came into the shop wanting a new logic board & screen - willing to pay up to $1000 for the repair. The owners convinced me to let them try to clean the badly damaged board, as they have had success in the past. If it didnt work, they would charge a $50 disassembly fee. About three months later, I called them to see what was going on with my macbook. They said they couldnt get it to work. I asked for a discount on the fee since they had my laptop for long & wasted months of my time that I could have had a functioning laptop. I was screamed & cursed at in the store for even suggesting a break on the disassembly fee. After taking it to another repair shop, I learned that only one side of the board was cleaned. Please do yourself a favor & do not trust these negligent scammers.

I sent in my laptop from Michigan in hopes to for them to fix my MacBook Pro. After two weeks of being delivered I heard zero response from them. So I contacted them and they told me they hadnt even done anything to it yet... I then just told them to ship it back to me because I did not want to wait any longer. Then they sent me a $150 invoice for doing absolutely nothing to it. After trying to compromise and offer $50 instead of $150 they refused and told me I had to pay the $150 or they wouldnt ship my laptop. Ive seen other people have good luck with these guys and I was really hoping for theyd deliver the same way for me. But sadly they didnt this was the worst customer experience Ive ever dealt with and their lack of professionalism was outrageous. Beware.

I was very satisfied with the service I received, althought I wasnt sure a repair could be done. They were very courteous and helpful and made the repair.

When my laptops fan went out, I didnt have time to fix it myself. I had projects to get done. I called DoubleClickIttoFixIt and left a voicemail message. James called me back immediately to say he was in a customers office and that he would call back let me know if they had that part in stock as soon as he returned to the office. He called me again quickly, and he did have the part I needed. I dropped my computer off at his office an hour later, I went a couple blocks down the road for some lunch, I came back, and my laptops fan had been replaced. Done. I used to repair computers for a living and I tried repairing my HP laptops motherboard myself, but I didnt have a relfow machine, nor that kind of experience. I was having issues with my HP TX2000. Hardrive wouldnt boot up. The trick of pressing hard on the J-K-L keys worked great to turn it on, but you cant work your palm pressed firmly on the keyboard. So, I googled my problem and up appeared a YOUTUBE presentation on how to fix my computer rom doubleclickittofixit. Wow! What a great company to work with. I shipped my laptop and they received it on a Saturday and it was fixed by Monday and they fedexd it to me overnight so I could make sure I got it back before I left out of town. Very prompt service and VERY PROMPT on answering all my nit-picky questions by email. We mustve sent about 15 emails back and forth and I always got a reply FAST. This company I would highly recommend. And my computer works like a charm again.

These guys rescued my tax files from an old hp laptop. The hard drive was toast and nearly impossible to read any sectors. They did not give up and ran numerous programs to repair bad sectors which took several days. They went the extra mile and charged only a small fee.
