Recommend not doing business with this company, at least not mail order. Shipment received not in the least what was order. Attempts to contact business to rectify the problem and was given the run around calls shifted to answering service. At the actual store location no one will speak with you regarding the issue, instead you are continuously referred to an answering service, who supposedly will deliver your message, and you will receive a call back. Still waiting on call back.

This place is full of it. I bought a synthetic wig that was supposed to be $50. The tag said $49.99 but they wrote 79.99 on the package. I was so in a hurry that I didn’t even notice. I would never pay that much for a SYNTHETIC wig smh. They are also charging $3.00 for an edge brush that should be $1.00. This is why I shop online and don’t mess with these places that just want to steal your money because they can. I had actually planned on going back but I will never give these thieves another cent.

Hate this place its just necessary they usually 1st place open & last close but just overwhelming stock and too cluttered. If you dont mind language barrier & ok with not being able walk down aisle this your place for hair needs.

They have a lot to choose from but sometimes they jack up the price on items I have been getting for forever. The aisles are crammed with products so its hard to walk through without accidentally knocking things down over and over. The customer service is not terrible, they seem to not want to be bothered but will answer a question quickly. They have the largest selection of hair in Brainerd Chattanooga TN so if I cant order my hair/products online then sometimes I go there for my clients. Im a Cosmetologist.

Horrible experience, they allowed me to purchase an item that was on back order back in August 2020, I requested a refund for the items (in November) and I am still waiting on a credit from them. I’m pursuing legal action because they are clearly playing games. From one business owner to another, this is Bad business. I will also use my business platform to make others aware of their bad business practices.

The products that this store sells on line they do not stand by. I was given a defective product of hair by Blue Sapphire which state 100% human hair and wet wave. Neither one was true. After installing the hair that is when I discovered it was not wet to wave. BUYER BE AWARE I AM FIGHTING NOW FOR THE RETURN OF MY MONEY. Wow!!! Where I start?? Well, I used ordered this online back in late 2007 and early 2008, I think. I loved that I order half wigs that online. I used to write on paper about wigs then money order and mailed it and they delivered as fast if I remember correct. Awesome memories, though.

I love them and dont know about them being a scam. I will say this its always safer to go to the store than online. They have quality hair for a range of styles and prices.You should find something to meet your needs. Also their nail polish is literally salon quality. I love their top coat and other nail polishes which last me a good two weeks with no chipping. Their hair products are endless and great as well as their makeup and jewelry. This is a store you do not want to overlook. I will continue to go to them. - a satisfied customer

A VAST VARIETY of any/all name brands, just slightly Overpriced.

It was very crowded with merchandise. There was this horrid ringing bell every time the door opened and I mean it was a God awful noise. The man and woman running it were just short of polite. I asked for help in finding a certain type of hair and another customer was more help to me than the employees

I bought over a hundred dollars worth of clip in Extensions and I ask the guy if they were 100% human hair, get the hair home and try and use it, wouldn’t curl or nothing, called back to see if I couldn’t exchange and the guy told me they don’t exchange or refund, do not shop there no compassion or anything for fake hair they sold as human hair

Pros: Lots of variety and they have every color imaginable in any hair style. They have so many things, even after all their years of being open, Ive yet to see all they have to offer. Thst are priced decently for most hair products and accessories.Cons: They are not very welcoming to customers, in the sense that you are not greeted. They have very small aisles, and they are hard to navigate because it is not labeled well. Also, if you are standing in one particular part of the store, an alarm sounds every 3-4 minutes. It is very loud, distracting and it gave me a headache. I didnt even purchase today because I could not concentrate.I would give them a higher rating if it werent for the alarm.

I will never order from this place again. My order took way too long to arrive, not the shipping I paid for. The wigs were balled up for delivery in a bag and they were out of shape. I tried one on anyway and spent 5 minutes picking all the hair that fell off the wig off my clothes. I usually order wigs from another site, but they were sold out of my style at the moment. I have never been so disappointed and Im not bothering to ask for a refund considering the whole process I went through to get the wigs. 😡

I ordered from their online store store.goldenmartbeautysupply and I paid soooo much for shipping, its unnecessary, and it took over 2 weeks to ship but the only reason why they finally shipped it is because I contacted my bank about it and they finally replied to my email days later saying it will be delivered. So they were never going to respond nor ship out my hair if I never called My banks Visa to report them.When it got delivered it was NOT the hair I asked for at all! It was a different color and different style, its much thinner as well. So I just reported them for fraud to Visa and hopefully get my money back because not only did they take money out of my bank without shipping it first, they were NEVER going to send out my hair to begin with, the only reason they finally answered my email was because I reported them to Visa smh. I hope my bank and Visa gives me my money back, I reported them for fraud today.UPDATE: My bank gave me my money back the next day and this place kept emailing me and I blocked them, they were unprofessional. I got my money back via contacting my visa card and I threw the weave in the trash after seeing how awful it looked on my head anyway, not worth it.

Do not order no hair from this company. I have never seen so much unprofessional. This the first time I ever deal with a company like this as long as I have bought hair. First it didn’t come on time, I called them for three days in a row and they lied over and over. Then after waiting a week, they send me the wrong color and 16” hair and put it in the 18” pack. Im very disappointed in this company. They never ask was it ok if they send me another color. When I call them about it, she lied and said they don’t have no more but they still have it advertise on their website. Don’t buy from them, they rude and don’t care about there customers.

Nice assortment of items, however they need to expand to have ample space for walking. Its so crowded with items you can barely walk thru comfortably without bumping into things.

Ive purchased 100% Brazilian hair @ 120 a box. I wasnt allowed to touch it and when my stylist installed the 2 units it started to shed. I washed and deep conditioned the hair and it was very brittle and dry. The next day the hair was so matted and tangled I had to uninstall it. After I took it it out I noticed it had the same texture and appearance of curly SYNTHETIC HAIR FIBER. I then did a strand test with my licensed stylist and discovered that I had been scammed into purchasing synthetic hair. I was furious and went to Golden mart with the hair to notify them of my problem. They pretended they couldnt understand my english. I asked to speak with the owner and all of a sudden the manager spoke fluent English. I told them that I was planning to file a report with BBB and I was asked to leave. Before I made it to my car another customer approached me to tell me that she heard the manager tell the employees to mark that brand down 30% Really?! Give me money back. Ive never been back.

I drove 5 hours to this store for nothing. The website is a total fraud. First, this businesses is not black owned! They dont even like black people. Rudest customer service ever! According to the site, they do wholesale orders with proper documentations. A lie. That was my sole purpose for driving all the way from MS to Chattanooga! The lady at the register lied saying this is not our website, so I showed it to her. She rolled her eyes and said we under new owner now... lie. We no do wholesale, we retail only. I showed her what the website advertises. She said, no, retail only. So, she called a guy from the back and turned her back to me. He came and was actually more friendly. I showed him the site and he shook his head. So he called the owner on his cell and the owner came from the back room. I told him how far Id driven and showed him the website, he said....thats not our store, thats my sons warehouse. Which was also a lie. He said you can order wholesale online only. Here is retail. Then he said we do not take large credit card orders on Sundays. He said cash only on Sundays.He said debit, yes, cash, yes, credit card,no! I was like sir, you mean to tell me that your credit card machine dont work on sundays? You dont do instore wholesale? And if i wanted to make a large purchase id have to pay cash or debit? I came a long way for you to look me in my face and tell me a bunch of lies. If this is the case then your site is false advertising. Yall need to change your site and make it clear because nothing on it is true. And your customer service is the worst ive ever experienced and im from MS.
