I could not have asked for a better experience! On top of spending so much time with me as I made slow decisions and then changed my mind, I had to reschedule at the last minute. I couldn’t have asked for a more gracious response from Jason and his install crew. The work in the end was a beautiful kitchen! Thank you for your patience and the quality work!

We went to Lowes to look at and pick out a counter top for our kitchen remodel. Just to be on the safe side, we paid the fee of $109 to have Lowes have their contractor come out and do the measurements for our new counter top. (we could do the measurements ourselves, but with the cost of granite we didnt want to make a silly mistake and order the wrong size). The Lowes employee said the contractor should call within 24-48 hours to schedule a time to come out to do the measurements; 3 business days later we had to call Lowes to get them to call the contractor to have him call us to schedule the appointment. So finally, the contractor, Creative Surfaces out of Chattanooga called to schedule an appointment. He would not set a specific appointment time, just that it would be before lunch and that he would give us a call before he leaves Chattanooga (this is over a 2 hour drive to our house). The guy shows up at my door, never called to let us know he was on the way, when I open the door he says I am here to do a counter top; am I at the right place. I said yes you are; before I could say anything else he walks through the door, walks past me, through my living room around to the kitchen. I follow him, he says is this what you are doing, I said yes, except that we are planning to build a 42 inch high bar; we will build the wall and the length of the bar was to be the same length as the cabinet it would be attached to; I showed him where we were building the bar and I gave him the width that we wanted the bar top to be. He spouts off that he would have to come back another day to do that measurement; I politely tried to get him to explain why (remember this is over a 2 hour drive); he just said he wouldnt know the measurements; I repeated what we wanted, including the measurements and he said nope, cant do it it will be another day. The man had a bad attitude the entire time he was at my house (less than 5 minutes); at that point, I was tired of putting up with his bad attitude and rude manners in my own house, and informed him he could do the measurements today or not at all; we were not paying another fee for him to come back out just to do measurements that he could easily do right then. He copped an attitude, said fine, walked past me out the front door and slammed the door behind him. If this is the first impression of customer service Creative Solutions provides, I would NEVER, NEVER recommend anyone use them. You are in business, buddy, good customer service is priority #1. I get he had a long drive and I tried to be as polite and respectful as I could; but I REFUSE to do business with someone who cannot be polite to a customer that is potentially going to spend thousands of dollars on work that you will be doing. Unfortunately, for this company; according to Lowes, he has had several complaints placed on him about his customer service and is on the verge of being banned from working as a Lowes contractor; he should be if he cannot provide better customer service than this. I have seen several negative reviews on several websites about this companys customer service. I cannot comment negatively or positively about Creative Solutions actual quality of work since we never got that far; but first impressions are everything, and if the quality of work is like their quality of customer service, I would recommend everyone stay as far away from this company as you can.I am editing my review to reply to the owner since it will not let me reply directly to his response; the man that came to my house never introduced himself by name; never stated what company he was from; never explained WHY he couldnt take the measurement today; just kept saying he couldnt do it he would have to come back. Thanks so much for your explanation about the process; but my bad review isnt so much about the process or even your quality of work; it is about your customer service. He was just flat out rude and disrespectful and there was no reason for that. First impressions are everything; and I was not at all impressed.

Creative surfaces does high quality work while maintaining a kind and professional atmosphere. All the employees are helpful and courteous!
