They got their name right. You definitely have to hunt for a bargain because they are no longer available. So sad this company has gotten greedy. They pay next to nothing for the merchandise as they usually purchase in large lot/palettes. $1 less than retail is not a bargain. They need to revisit their roots and go back to the old pricing system. The staff was very friendly and greeted us upon entering the store.I have been a customer since they opened. I will not waste my time and visit Bargain Hunt stores any longer.

I was shocked when I saw the prices in a discount store. It wasnt like the bargain hut in Gainesville Georgia. The woman working acted like it killed her to do a price check for me so I said nevermind and walked out. Wasnt worth the drive.

Always great things to find here from face care to food! The name is as suggested, with great bargains any day of the week. The store is well organized and kept clean. Buggies available, friendly staff, great selection.

The old business model of reducing prices the longer an item was one the shelf made for great bargains! Now the store may be more organized, but its not that much of a bargain. Clothes are still the place you can find a deal. The rest is the same price and quality of competition.

This is 1 store that is listening to the people by not requiring masks! Im so sick and tired of all customers and staff being required to wear masks at other stores! At least Bargain Hunt is listening to their customers and not requiring masks.

A lot of useful things to home for a very low price.

Circa 2013 -2014 i used to travel the state hitting every bargain hunt store (19 at the time). I could fill a trailer with merch and flip online for a tidy profit, often 2x sometimes up to 10x my purchase cost. Not no more. In fact its cheaper to just buy same stuff online than it is here nowadays. It was fun back then but nuthin last forever i guess... as for regluar shopper if you go to secondary market store like this or big lots or ollies you should really expect to be finding stuff for 30- 50% what you would pay at Target, b/c the return policy is no where near what Target is and its generally just not as classy or nice as Target. Im not seeing the discounts anymore that would be expected at this type store.

Ill give a 5 star just for the courteous help the staff had loved it and ill be back.again

Made me regret all the money I spent at other stores since this pace had another of the same name brand items but for a steep discount.

Its a Bargain Hunt whats here today gone tomorrow. Not sure if they allow calls but should have called first for something I saw on line. A couple ppl was coming in when I did and they were well seasoned. I didnt see too much of what was in my taste.Only three stars cause at first glimpse of walking in the door the place looks boring and the furniture seems to be a bit high priced. Just sayin

They had plenty of everything the prices were good only thing I was my sisters guest and I could not use my debit or credit card there I had to pay cash and I didnt like that because I like using my card. The card member can use her card but her guest cant

Didnt get to spend a lot of time here, but looked like some good buys. I did buy a set of ear buds with inline microphone for just $3. Paddle boards were $250

LOVE this place. I went when I came home from working out of state and found a nice WALLS work jacket that was marked down to like $12.50, from $175 and when I went back out of state a few days later, I pulled the receipt out of my wallet, because my buddy didnt believe I only paid $12.50, and when we looked at the receipt we were shocked to find out that I had actually only spent $9.00 for this awesome jacket that I am in fact wearing as I write this review 🙂 Cant wait to go back

Good bargains and very good discounts on their products

I liked it better when they used dates, and after so many days hanging around price would drop each week or so until it was 90% off. Polite, friendly employees. You can still find a bargain if you hunt for it!

Cool store as always..but in my opinion, Hixon location has wider, better selection

Good deals. The products are usually in a good shape and organized. They have a clerance section when you enter the store. If you are going to buy electronic item, check it before buying. I have had some really useful and great products and a few that didnt work. The manager is really helpful and friendly.

Since they have used their down time well to reorganize the store, Id give them a solid 8 on a 1-10 scale. So much easier to shop now. Go find a bargain!

When we were there, the line was 10 customers backed up...even tho there were 4 other employees walking around. Socks fell apart that we bought there, but its a great place to go for pet stuff and kitchen stuff. No1 should have to wait in line for 30 mins while there are plenty of people working tho!!!

Tina the store supervisor told me to sign up through my email to get 20% off the new angler boats they just got in. I went up there to purchase one of the boats and was told I cant use the 20%. It states you cant use the 20% off paddle boards and kayaks. NOT boats! This is false advertisement! Bargain hunt also did this same misleading advertisement with the yellow tag sale. They said it didnt include the the yellow tag shoes but nowhere was is it stated in the store or the email you get with their sales. I was a regular weekly shopper but I will not do business with any corporation that uses misleading advertisement to sell their products.

Definitely unique collection of items, similar to a dollar store in what they offer. Sometimes items do not have prices on them. Just take them up to a cashier and they will often give you great deals.

Found some low priced baby items compared to other stores but didnt really see clothing they are supposed to have at half to 75 percent off.

Really disappointed in the direction Bargain Hunt has gone. I used to go all the time because it was about the HUNT. They used to date everything and as the dates got older the discounts would get greater, so searching around for the dates that were 70, 80, 90% off made some amazing deals. They got rid of the date system and now they just tag everything with a price, but their prices are too high to feel like a good deal. Now it is no longer a bargain, nor a hunt. So disappointed.

Meh. This one has half empty shelves, barely any clothes and, stale inventory without the really good deals - nothing like the old bargain hunt days before the pricing restructure. Feels like its about to go out of business :/

I do a lot of traveling and Ive visited several Bargain Hunt stores and I believe this is one of the cleanest stores Ive shopped in and has helpful employees which you dont see much anymore.

It can be something of a slog to dig through all the stuff, but there are definitely terrific deals to be had in every category from clothing to furniture to appliances. The staff are always friendly and helpful, too. I recommend checking here for home design goods before buying anywhere else, youd be surprised!

Hit & miss, but you can get some amazing deals if you have the time to peruse the aisles. A bit messy. Our #1 rule is to not buy electronics there - and have since been pleased with all purchases.

You can find some good deals here. But i cant stand to dig for anything. There store.is always tore up from the floor up!. And on there noxed furniture. The majority of it has no images or descriptions. Of the items in the box. But i do enjoy stopping in here on occasion. To see what i can find. There are incredible deals to.be had. If you can find them.

I love Bargain Hunt! Ive shopped there since it opened! You never know what you will find in there. Name brand things at a way discounted price!Ive also been working there since March 2018 & I love it. We work really hard to get the products out asap!The company has stopped the date system but WE STILL MARK EVERYTHING DOWN THE SAME! You just dont have to hunt as much. Now you look for the yellow stickers. We scan everything & depending how long its been there it gets marked 25%, 50%, 75%, up to 90% off. All depending on when we got it.So therefore you no longer have to pick everything up to see how much your price will be. This is the nicest Bargain Hunt I have ever been in. The store to so clean. Items are plaved with care. Every other BH I have visited looked like a trashy flea market.

Great prices as long as youre willing to hunt through a lot of stuff. The products here seem to be either returns from big box stores or cast offs. Be careful though, not sure what the price setting process is but sometimes buying an item new is not only cheaper but much cheaper! Be prepared to Google price comparisons if youre not sure.

Liked it, however it is completely hit or miss. I have been there and found great buys. Other times I couldnt find anything I cared to buy and it seemed more expensive than the discount stores. So I never go there if I am in a hurry or looking for something in particular. You have to enjoy the hunt to go to this place!

The discounts here are nearly unbeatable. It can be a little disorganized sometimes but if you have time and are looking for some cheap, good looking items. This is the place to go. Oh, you see something you like, better grab it when you see or it may be gone the next time you drop in.

I use to love this place but from last 3 months its going down. Not much of stock and always so clumsy gives feeling like thrift store... other location is really good and clean..

Great prices

This is a good place to browse around, there are a lot of items. I wouldnt necessarily consider a lot of the furniture items bargains but for small kitchen items, backpacks, and simple clothing its not a bad place to checkout.

Their prices on their clearance clothing was good. Everything else was pretty high priced, like one item I saw a price tag from another store for $4. This bargain Hunt was trying to sell it for $10.Store was a lot more clean from pasts visits but still not great

It’s a shame that Dan is gone. I bought a pool pump not even a month ago that doesn’t work - $125 plus tax - unfortunately, I can’t locate my receipt after my car was ransacked this week in a spree of robberies in our neighborhood - Dan has always been able to pull it up by the credit card used. The new manager Scott informed me “well this is my third day and I don’t know how to do that so company policy is without a receipt I can’t help you” that may be company policy - I hope it was worth losing a long-time customer who moved from Hendersonville to Georgia and drives to Chattanooga because I’ve been loyal since you were Essex. I’ll gladly screenshot my bank and credit card statements to show how often my purchases were. I’ll miss Janice! Oh well - policy over customer service I guess is a good motto.

I ask a manager to check a price on a blanket set but she didnt come back to tell me the price . Because she was to busy talking and laughing to a coworker. I ask her where it was and she said she didnt know. That the blanket was gone! After looking for it for half an hour, we just left the store. Its so sad that a store manager could be so incompetent!!!

Staff nice and friendly and I felt comfortable shopping without being followed around the store. I can always find what Im looking for and what Im not. Lol. Great place to shop.

If you like discounts you will like this place. But be careful. For food. Watch for dates and electronics make sure they work. Although you can just bring it back. Usually messy store. Looks like dirt cheap some times sad to say.

So unprofessional, never seen. store with such high turn over and not with just the sales associates but with managers. very disappointing in their quality of product, how items are displayed but mostly when store manager doesnt even know answer or is willing to help you find out answer with customer concerns

This is a nice place to fine some grate deals. Not a lot are cheap but I like this one. Ive not been in quite a while. Just be carefully walking in if you have epilepsy. They have a flashing lights that flash on the ground when walking in. Ive asked it they can be turned off while I was shopping and they did.
