I was Surprised at how there prices were better than Market Basket

I want to love Hannaford; always been my store, I know where things are, etc. Pricing is competitive however availability of many items has been inconsistent. Competitors have their supply-chain issues sorted much better than Hannaford at present. I hope improvements can be made soon.

Ordered a Birthday cake and also got Cupcake flowers it was Awesome. I got Balloons 🎈 it was so big as well. Great consumer service 👏🏽👌🏽

Hannaford is my favorite place to go grocery shopping. I like that after 7 its pretty deserted which I enjoy provided the virus situation. Most of the time I find everything Im looking for and the employees at the checkout are really nice. Im glad that they have an employee monitoring the door to ensure the mask mandate is enforced. However there is one employee that I see stocking things that never wears his mask correctly so maybe someone should talk to him about it.

Just moved to the area and did some quick shopping. Enjoyed this location and they also have delivery available.

Good organic variety. Big cheese collection. Also some good tea variety.Rates are competitive. Fruit is fresh and staff is polite

I have been going to Hannaford for a long time now. Their products are nice and fresh. It may be expensive but you pay for the best products. Its never packed at the times that I have been there. This is my go to place every week for my groceries 🙂

I dont want to share

I was at this store on Wednesday 1/6/2021 at 5pm I waited 15 minutes at the meat counter, the butcher was there chopping the meat and another guy at the sink cleaning up both saw me both did nothing... after he finished his cleaning duties thats when he came over...... I was there again on Friday the 8th. Again waited and the man was right there in front of me doin his work duties, I asked for a piece of fish, the piece of fish he gave me was small I asked for another piece, he stated that they were all the same, clearly they were not because I saw bigger pieces.! Both were being interrupted and were annoyed that they had to stop there work duties and wait on customers ....no mask were worn

Very clean, well stocked, deli meats, butcher, fish, pharmacy, get vaccines, scripts, curbside pickup. My favorite grocer.

Love the attention to social distancing practices and the large amount of cleaning! Would definitely recommend as the superior choice for safe shopping

Well AS ALWAYS I Got their as They Were Closing & Even WITH ONLY 10 MINS LEGIT. THEYRE ALWAYS SO HELPFUL & ACTUALLY TRIED TO HELP ME FIND MY LAST MINUTE ITEMS & ITS LIKE THAT EVERY TIME I GOT 2 HANNAFORDS😇EITHER #2 HOURS OR 10 MINS TO SHOP? THEY THE EMPLOYEES ARE SO VERY NICE & HELPFUL & NOT LIKE OTHER STORES THAT JUST WANTA GET YA OUT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE, HANNAFORDS IS DIFFERENT & PLEASENT

Just want to applaud our local market for doing a great job in these trying times. Went in yesterday and their produce section was wiped out. So many empty shelves. They were frantically restocking today. I still couldnt find some of the things I was looking for, but they are clearly doing everything they can to keep up with this madness. Best of luck.

Shop here due to convenience of location however they are still deplenished of a lot of things even though their competitors are being better supplied

Clean, organized supermarket with variety of produce, ready to eat meal and my favorite is shusi😋

The quality of the fruits and vegetables is great, they also have a section where you can pick different kinds of olives. As for the bakery, several types of breads and cakes can be found, my choice is always banana bread and blueberry muffin. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star is the high price, I wish it was more affordable.

Hannaford is usually easy to get in and out of. Ive never had any issues here. I love that they have a bunch of self checkouts! Definitely beats standing in a line when you only have a few things and your in a rush.

Hannaford is a good place to shop even during this pandemic ithas most everything today you need . ..exception of lysol cleaner Hard To Find!!!!!! Otherwise a good safe store

Fresh produce and dog food (Purina) was able. Store clean, well organized. Cashier friendly and efficient.

Couldnt you have picked a Smiling ..Welcomeing Person sitting near the door to keep count! This girl no Greeting no smile not a word was said I did not know whether to STOP..PROCCEED..or walk back out the door .At least Market Basket will greet you with a Smile!! This is what I found on May 16th 2020 at approx.6pm.

Nice Hannaford market here. Theyve updated some of the floors so it looks like a high end market. Plenty of space/room in general, including aisles, for even the busiest days, not as cramped as some other markets. Great product selection as well. Recent updates to self checkout area are very much appealing to me as well.

This Hannaford is clean, extremely well stocked, and staffed by an exemplary bunch of folks. I would place this Hannaford location well within the top 5 of my list of Hannaford locations.The bakery items are always fresh - I have yet to have any experience with day-old bread, or Bakery rolls. The donuts, pastries, and cakes, of course are to die for.If all that werent enough, they Hannaford store brands are every bit as good as the national name Franz would expect to find in any supermarkets. Additionally The Inspirations by Hannaford brand comes highly recommended as an adjunct to any dinner preparation.

Why oh why are the basic needs placed so far from one another in a grocery store? So youll shop all the other items in between! What a nice place to stop and shop (Ha, ha)the store was clean, aisles wide, and well stocked. I was impressed and will return to shop here when in the area. No line and plenty self check out...yessssss!

Not my favorite place to shop. I have a hard time finding the products I need and had to go isle by isle. But very clean and orderly supermarket. I’m new to the area and just noticed customers can apply for some type of discount card, which I was never asked if I’d like to apply for. I like the fact that they recently installed self check out stations, it makes a big difference when I have just a few items, much quicker!

This is a decent basic grocery store. Pretty good selection of fresh produce and meats and prices on dry goods are fair. Id say the quality of meat and produce are better than average but not as high as places like Wholefoods. My main complaint with Hannaford is that their selection of merchandise is more limited than their competitors. They offer Hannaford branded versions of almost everything they sell, which means there is less room on the shelf for more varieties of the national brands.

Just a short visit but it was ok little crowded but not bad

Salad bar is great except you charge 6 bucks lb of soup. For the same size Shaw’s charges that for the same large container which is less than half of yours since is by the cup not per pound. No healthy choices of dressing either. We’re stuck with one brand which is filled with junk ingredients. Maybe have some options for customers who don’t want high fructose corn syrup, msg or tons of other things which then takes away from the fact that we’re eating a so-called- healthy salad

Great selection, plenty of help at deli, lots of prepared foods options, great produce area, isles not cluttered.

I love the wide variety of dairy and gluten free products that they have at this store. The employees are friendly, and it is easy to get in and out with plenty of self check out lines. Being right next to Walmart, you can get everything done in one plaza.

So many gluten free options not found elsewhere. Produce is high quality. The store is clean and bright. A pleasure to shop here.

Ease of access to all products even on the weekend. Friendly managers and staff resolve any issues such as the self checkout with alacrity. There are always at least several key sale shopping items worth my time to stop by and pick up.

To me best supermarket around although produce could use some more attention.

Good selection, okay prices, if youre looking for savings hit up market basket instead, Hannafords is known for supporting local farms and businesses and for that I appreciate them

The prices are comparable to s&s however its not crazy like market basket and has. Variety like s&s plus more. The cashiers are very friendly.

I really like this market. Its clean and the checkout line is very quick. The vegetable and fruits are fresh and nice. Too bad I was no longer living in this area. I wish I had a place like this in Cambridge area.

Always a great experience! Pleasant ppl, I usually find what I want... and you dont get trapped at the registers. Oh and they take pride in a nice looking store. The one I go to in Saco Maine is my fav.

The store used to be excellent Ive shopped there since the day it became Hannafords very very disappointed in the recent turn Ill be events. Half the products I used to buy are not even on the shelves today when I was at the store the shelves arent even fully stocked its ridiculousI have to switch over to Market Basket just to get basic products too bad Stop & Shop destroyed a good store

The Hannafords Supermarket does share customers with Walmart their produce is better and sometimes cheaper than Market Basket. They also have arrangements with local farms for produce. Their meats and fish are of good quality but expensive.

Visited a few supermarkets seeking a certain food. Greatest supermarket in the area. The staff are friendly, familiar and make you feel right at home.

High quality grocery. Meat Department is exceptional! Fish is better than some coastal places.

This Hannies is close to home so I scoop up my odds an ends here during the week (its a nice clean store with a great staff), but I do my major weekly shopping trip at the 777 Rogers St. one as I have better luck with their produce.

Busy inside, but they had everything I needed even on the eve of Thanksgiving. Checkout was very fast, with 2 checkers and 2 baggers!

Clean store, produce and meats are great along with other foods, Meat associates are friendly and eager to serve. Some of the cashiers could use a boost of being friendly instead of snippy, same with some of the pharmacy technicians,being rude and unpleasant is not the place for these people to be in.

Witnessed a very chubby female employee with greasy skin approach a woman in front of children using foul language accusing her of stealing the woman was in tears after a search inside her purse no apology was given and employee retreated inside.

I would give 5 stars but they just recently renovated and i am lost as to where things went.

Good selection of baking supplies at a reasonable price. The redox wasnt working which was unfortunate but not their fault. They couldve done with a few more open registers as it was busy due to easter.

Higher in price than demoulas but have better selection of organic vegetables and vegetables seem to be fresher. I wish I could shop here but it is higher in price and does have a pharmacy that market basket/demoulas does not.
