Best moving vehicle rental experience I have had (and I had a lot). Well maintained, clean vehicle and very quick and efficient customer service. Great location right off 95.

New truck was a plus...inside windshield was dirty. Everything else was great. Office staff friendly. The 9 cargo van fit our purpose exactly.The Highland Ave office was closed upon our arrival at 8:15 PM. It was listed online to be open till 9 PM. Figuring out the return while in the dark of night of night and online was challenging. Thank you.

Ive been a loyal customer for a few years and all for nothing. Every year the charge more so with the same amount of space. My contract has not changed but it makes no sense to charge more the longer you stay. If anything a discount should be given.

Zero Stars would be the ideal rating for this Uhaul location. The “Owner”(yeah she said she owns it…. LOL) of this particular uhaul location needs to take lessons on customer service from her own employees. Those guys were phenomenal. I’m so sorry you deal with her.I was rudely greeted before I even entered the store by the woman who claims to be the “big owner”. Before telling her what truck I was even there to retrieve she told me I needed to have it back by 1230. I said okay, I haven’t even received the truck yet. How do I get it to begin with. Again she told me rudely that the truck needed to be back by 1230. Okay at this point I asked her what her problem was, due to me not even checking the truck out yet why was she aggressively talking to me. I had a reservation for the truck I am here for and don’t need to be talked to this way. At this point the woman shut down. Kept walking away from me while I tried to ask her how to get the key to the truck. I purposely did the self check out option and still was harassed by the “big bad owner” of uhaul Chester? She told me I will not be getting the truck and proceeded to call the cops on me. Gave no information, no receipt, no refund. I have to call corporate to get my money. I have used Uhaul many times in the past when I was relocating due to military orders. Unfortunately I have never had such a horrible experience as I have at this location. This will definitely be the last. Stay away from this location.

Called and immediately put on eternal hold. Rather go elsewhere considering Uhaul is more expensive anyway.

Customer service was terrible! Had to wait 15 minutes while the GM cursed out a customer which made me late for work!

Friendly and efficient service! I did not have a reservation however I was in and out in minutes. Will definately use this location for future needs.

This has been the worst experience ever but today takes the cake! I legit just went in to pay my bill there were 4 people in the office not one spoke to me but looked at me when I came in which let’s me know they knew I was there! Not one hello one guy in a green shirt had his back turned to me speaking to a guy behind him there was another guy sitting in a chair which I made eye contact with and then a woman that was on the phone! So I stand there like maybe they are talking about work surly they will greet me when they see me boy was I wrong so I said I’m excuse me can I just pay my bill then you can finish your conversation man was that the wrong thing to say you would think I just slapped their grandmother the way they looked at me then the guy with his back turned didn’t apologize or nothing just asked with a bit of a attitude for my unit number I told him then he went on with the transaction as if I just inconvenienced his entire day whew I have never dealt with such attitude and no customer service skills in my life

My experience there was great. The two employees were professional and willing to help me without asking. I had messed up my login for mobile pick for the truck. They both helped fix the problem and explained what I did. They service was fast and easy going. Thank you again!

My husband and son had already traveled 15 minutes away, and upon arriving where the furniture to be moved was, discovered that the ordered dollies and blankets were NOT in the truck. Fortunately another son had brought a car which could be used for coming back to retrieve the items, without having to put more mileage on the truck. BUYER BE-AWARE

I had a number of issues with my Uhaul reservations. The manager here was very reasonable and sensible person to talk to. She worked to resolve a few problems that were outside of her direct control. I appreciate that.

Returned a van. Was Told it had damage. Charged $300+ for damage that I couldn’t dispute. U-Haul corporate would not help or return my calls.

After having a horrible experience at another location the morning of my move, this location was a breath of fresh air. The staffs customer service was outstanding. My unit was SPOTLESS when I opened the door. Not even a cobweb. I had no issues returning my truck rental. I did purchase the 24 hour gate access, and even unloading my truck at 11pm, I felt safe.

I rented 3 vehicles in 3 weeks from here . All were clean and sanitized at pickup. There was a mixup the first time as to what vehicle I had requested. They tried to push me into a small truck that, they admitted, had a tire issue. Other than that everything was well .

The two women working the front were very nice and on the ball.

Ordered a 17 truck. Worker came 20 minutes late to open shop. Only one person was working and was on the phone while he was helping me. Finally got the keys to the car (never received the blankets I ordered). Got a flat tire while trying to exit parking lot. Worker told me to come inside to figure it out. Made me wait in line (the line took 50/60 minutes for 4 customers). Paying for the insurance I figured I was able to receive a new truck. Nope. When I finally got to the front of the line he told me that I had to contact roadside assistance (which he could have told me before I waited an hour in line). Roadside went to repair tire but said it would be a 75 minute wait. Went to return the keys and get a refund. He denied me a refund and said it was my fault. This was the WORST customer service Ive ever had. Waited 3 hours without left with nothing but a $60 check and no truck. Never even got the truck off of the lot. The only helpful person was roadside service (who was blown away that I did not receive a refund). Ended up having to waste $100 more on a Home Depot flatbed truck which I couldnt get everything I needed with. I could have hired movers at $160 and had none of this headache. Avoid this location at all costs.

I rented a 26 foot truck from these very nice people. No hidden charges. I received a clean modern truck that ran well. No hassle return. I would rent from them again in a hot minute.

Had an ok experience here. Was just going to pickup a small trailer that we had reserved and it took forever. You cant hook up your own trailer according to their policy which is fine but we sat backed up to the trailer for at least 15 minutes after getting everything confirmed in the office. After 15 minutes one of us decided to go up to the office and ask if we could get the trailer hooked up and only then did someone come out 5 minutes later to help us. All of the staff was very friendly and thats why I gave 3 stars instead of two.

Order over the phone at one location for a truck but when we arrived they stated trucks are at a different location only 7 minutes away.I had no choice. All went well just wished they were a little more informative.

Rented a truck on June 9, 2019, and the process was fairly easy. Make sure your phone is charged before you go to the office because they make you take a photo of the front and back of your license. The staff seemed like they hated their jobs (lady sitting at the front desk did not once ackowledge me as she sat there clicking away on the computer). I will warn others of this: You are suppose to top off the gas that was used during your travels - so make sure you find a gas station in a SAFE location. I waited until I got back to Chester and drove down the street to the closest station my GPS instructed me to aka Lukoil (729 Highland Ave) and there was a guy walking around the parking lot super high off drugs, and another guy across the street was sitting in his front yard shooting up in his arm. Considering that this U-Haul isnt in the best location, they should provide some tips to their customers on safe areas to go fill up the truck tanks. I would rent from U-Haul again, just never from this location.

Always courteous service

The manager is the only one who seems to know what’s going on. Went there was overcharged had to wait hour luckily they fixed it. Employees seem unfazed by customer service. Looking for another location to service my needs!

I had a big misunderstanding here at this location which in anger caused me to write a very rude and unnecessary review. After speaking with the GM I was given such great customer service. The GM was very apologetic about any misunderstanding I may have had and for such down to earth response I had to come and change my review as well as acknowledge my wrongful response and behavior.

Tina, Natasha, Delante were all great at Customer Service and accomadating my personal needs. The Truck was out of wiper fluid while it was snowing, front tires air low. This location is very accessible from I-95 North & South.rhere are truck rentals and storage lockers available. They also hold auctions for abandoned storage lockers at this location for delinquent / or failure to pay on lockers. The staff is very friendly

Great service, and a large selection of vehicles to chose from. Parking lot can be difficult to get into and a little packed at times.

The most ignorant people I have ever encountered and they over charge completely if I wasn’t so desperate I would of never of used this uhaul location but it’s chester I shouldn’t of expected it

Poor service.

The staff is very mean. I think this woman was actually the manager, but she was very ignorant and was acting like she didn’t want to rent out a van overnight, But whatever. So I get the van rent it for 24 hours, when I received the van it was passed 7 and they were technically closed. The next day when I returned it at the same time, they were closed but I was harged another full day bc they left at 7pm and I returned it at the same time which was 7:15pm. So I got charged for 2 days then the next morning was charged an additional $110 for mileage that is normally .29 per mile but for some reason they said it’s now .69 per mile. Then charged me $25 saying the van was dirty when I took the time out to make sure it was clean so I wouldn’t get charged the $25 cleaning fee. I use uhaul every single week for my business. My usual uhaul is the one in Bristol PA on durham but it was late and I wouldn’t have made it all the way up there so I stopped at a closer one. I will NEVER be using this uhaul place again. Ignorant staff and extra / over charging for NOTHING!

I have been with This Uhaul for over 10 years storing my cherished property. Today 11/30/12 I am 32 days late in paying my storage bill, times are so so hard. They (Paula Loveless, a very appropriate name, the Manager) just sent me a message, that she is auctioning my property in 13 days on 12/13/12. This was my only notice. This business is heartless, the owners are heartless they represent UHAUL. Uhaul is heartless, i hate this place. Beware, stay away, find a place that will care about items you feel are worth storing. UHaul is not the place, i am broadcasting this on facebook, the media, the better business bureau and any one who will listen..

Went with a buddy of mine to rent a car trailer but we arrived and the trailer had already been given to another customer and were told to get one from chester would get less stars but company did not charge us for the rental . Probably would use again
