Don is great. We love taking our trucks to him.
Bought a vehicle for cheap from a very dishonest dealer (dk super autos) I did what I could to save it. Paid don to help me get it back in good shape and he pulled through and did an amazing job. Missed a couple things but thats okay they did exactly as I asked.
One of the best experiences I’ve had at any shop. Professional and friendly. Don was very knowledgeable about my car, and didn’t try to push additional things. He answered all my questions without hesitation. This was the first time I’ve been to their shop, but it won’t be the last. They are going to be the only shop I’ll take my car to. After one visit, I can tell they are very trustworthy, and that is incredibly hard to find in the automotive business. Thank you Rocky Mountain Automotive.
I bought a car from these wonderful people. I have bought cars before but it was never so easy before. They really care and they want you to be happy. Not many places can say that . I am beyond impressed.I highly recommend them.
Don does a good job. Will work with you on options to help you save money.
Well, I have my vehicle in the shop for almost 3 months. paid $1300 For stuff that didn’t even need to be done. I “ I would not have paid $1300 for repairs that didn’t even need to be done that I didn’t even ask for. It’s a $2000 vehicle. Now they want 500 more for a water pump that’s absolutely insane. I cannot explain to you how much I can stress to you do you not use this company.
I am very happy with the service to my Volkswagen from this location. The people that work here are amazing.
Fast honest service.
Best place in town to get your car worked on. Don the owner is a fair and competent mechanic. If you go elsewhere, you have a good chance of getting taken
Called to get an estimate and was informed they didnt have a problem with it but they would be out until the 18th. I asked how much they would charge and got nothing but silence and then they hung up.
On a recent cross country trip, our truck had both front wheel bearings go out while passing through Cheyenne. We were referred by a local tire mechanic to give Rocky Mountain Automotive a call and see if they could check the truck out bright and early Monday morning. Don and the mechanics did an excellent job at figuring out what was wrong, fixing it and getting us back on the road by 12:30 that afternoon. Being a visitor to the city and not knowing anyone there, we felt that Rocky Mountain Automotive took very good care of our vehicle and left a wonderful impression with us of the hospitality of Cheyenne. I would very much recommend this company. They did an excellent job.
I was going through Cheyenne on my way across the country when my truck started acting up. These guys went out of their way to get me back on the road despite already being busy with other repairs that afternoon. Incredible people working at this place!
I went to the shop a few times, but wont be back. Brought my truck in for oil change and inspection, and they missed worn belts until I brought my truck back in 2 weeks later to get winter tires put on. How do you miss worn belts when your working under the hood, but catch them when youre mounting tires? The final straw was when I took my truck in with some problems with my starter. They blatantly overcharged me on labor and tried to defend it when I called them on it. This shop charged $529 and said the book rate was 3.03 hrs of labor. I made some calls to other independent shops in town with good ratings. All of them used flat rate billing and quoted me under $400 for labor and parts, with labor taking between .8 to 1.5 hrs. To add insult to injury, my truck still isnt starting right. Ill be going elsewhere in the future...
Got an entire cat back job done in one day. Was informative and courteous throughout the whole job.
I was just passing through and needed my transmission fluid filled and couldnt find a funnel small enough, so I went to a transmission mechanic on 9th Street here in Cheyenne and he wouldnt even take a second to help me. He said that he could possibly make time to look at it this afternoon, but I have to get on the road. Rocky Mountain Automotive was the next closest shop, so I gave it a try and the owner didnt hesitate to take my car in and fill my transmission fluid.
The ONLY REASON THEY GET 1 STAR IS 0 ISNT AVAILABLE. I HAD TO WAIT 2 HOURS FOR THEM TO SHOW UP. I FOUND THE PROBLEM MYSELF. MECHANIC DIDNT BRING RIGHT FUSE AND HAD TO GO BACK TO SHOP FOR FUSES. TOOK LESS THAN 15 MINUTES TO CHANGE FUSE. WANTED TO CHARGE ME 593.22. GRACIOUSLY REDUCED BILL TO 380.00...NO TOWING INVOLVED AND IM 11 MILES FROM SHOP. DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC THEY ARE CROOKS.
They performed a scheduled 90K mile tune up on my car. I am happy with their work. I would recommend them to a friend.
Love this place, don the owner is a great and knowledgeable person, very courteous, strives to get it right the first time. Cheryl (receptionist) is fun to talk to and can get you on the schedule in a jiffy.
Very personable. They advised me on issue with truck and gave option to fix. Just had oil serviced so we will see over time.
Don is a good mechanic. I have been going there since 2009 and they have always been honest, and professional. I have been taking cars there for years and the only time a mistake was made it was my fault XD they are great!
Great. Good price great service. Find problems fast.
Very friendly fixed car perfectly. Will definitely go back again
They were fast fixed the problem. Will gladly do business with them again.
Very pleased with the work they did.
Did have employees to do the work
They had my car towed to their shop, found and fixed the problem on the same day at a reasonable price.
Honest and fair. What more could a person ask for?
Ill bring all my cars here to get fixed!
