This store is amazing and unique Just like Stanley, I had the pleasure of working for him many times and every day was a different project than the last, I learned so much from him, and I cant even come close to paying him back for all he has done for me. Also if anyone remembers when he owned the old ACE hardware and had that toy train running along the ceiling yeah he still has it, when I helped move it, it brought back memories of me and my dad. 😭
I love these guys. Twenty-five years ago they restored and replated my grandmothers 1930s swing arm floor lamp. Perfect. A few weeks ago they hung my chandelier and installed a dimmer, and rewired an antique lamp of my Mothers. Great. They are just the same friendly family as ever.
Just go there. Treasure after treasurer..youll get what you okay for.... Ken and his wife Rosrnary are the BEST
Horrid service. I left my lamp there a month ago for repairs, they made me go to an ATM and pay them cash upfront (they are a cash only business, much), then did nothing, no calls or updates. I called them twice since and they explained that the person who drills holes was not around and they didnt know when, maybe after Christmas. Picking it up and going to a competent repair service.
This store is full of treasures. Ken cares very much about the quality of what he sells, and about his customers. My experience there has only been positive.
Not only are the Stanleys really knowledgeable -- they also are immensely responsible and do wonderful work. The light fixtures in their shop are gorgeous.
Closed when I got there.
Found the owners to be rude.
