Veronica was incredibly helpful!! I was looking for a couple of last minute marathon essentials and noise makers and she went above and beyond with helping me find what I was looking for and needed! I was looking for a bandanas and she took me deep into the men’s section to find them and then she went with me to the other different sections helping me find the other trinkets I wouldn’t have found on my own. I super appreciate this woman, she is phenomenal! Best customer service I’ve had at any target, hands down. Give her a raise!!

For sure make a stop here when in downtown Chicago. The State Street location is the historic Carons Pirie Scott building and has two levels of Target for your shopping pleasure. They have all the staples that you might need including a small grocery section and a great liquor section. I made several visits for odds and ends on my most recent trip.

Although I miss the Carson Pirie Scott previously located here, this Target is a great addition on State street. It is one of the larger Targets I have visited and it stocks a pretty decent selection of, well, just about anything.Great location where the many students in this area of the city can buy more or less everything they need for their dorm rooms. And the food section is very welcome in this area where groceries are pretty scarce.

Very convenient. especially for those without a car. Good selection, but of course they can’t always have everything but the seem to put effort into restocking. As a vegan, I find the fresh fruits and veggies very limited in range and overpriced (except when compared to Whole Foods!). Dry groceries have a decent selection and there the prices are good for smaller-than-Costco sizes. The household goods are limited but decent. The personal care items’ prices are better than pharmacies, but usually more than Amazon, but if you need a main stream product very quickly, this is a reasonable choice. Clothing is aimed more at younger buyers. Overall, I’m glad they are there. The order-online & pickup feature works well. Target made a reasonable if a bit half hearted attempt to retain the wonderful Louis Sullivan features of their part of the building.

The staff was pleasant. But if youre a plus sized woman dont bother stopping. T-shirts and denim is all the have. Oh, maybe a dress or two. Worst shopping availability ever.

A cashier named Antoinette helped me and she was wonderful! She put little sticker handles on my boxes of soda so they wouldnt break! She also just seemed very kind! I demand her pay be tripled immediately!

I love this store!! Its conveniently located in an area where I can stop after work. Karen Jones was the cashier who rung my items out this evening. She is always a delight and such an excellent employee! Whenever I stop in the store, I look for Karen and a few others that I know. Karen always has a smile on her face and I love her kind spirit.

They have good customer service and reasonable prices for parents who plan for back to school shopping this week.

Ive never been into a target that has two floors the staff was very helpful ! I was in the boys section I needed a pair of shorts which I found I asked the lady associate if the gray shorts would look ok with my purple KB jersey she told me it would. I thanked her and headed down stairs to check out cashier was very nice !! This was my second visit to this location. Im visiting from out of town !!

I came to this target looking for a beauty bag/travel bag organizer and left with so much more. I did NOT know that Dove has vegan shampoo and conditioner 🙂 I was happy to learn that.

Visiting Chicago from Los Angeles and we needed to buy some snacks for our hotel 🏨. Luckily, this Target was just a short walk away. This location is two story and has a nice selection of groceries on the 2nd floor. The store felt very organized and we found everything we needed ( and more :)

We come here for stuff and for old and new video games for my switch.

Customer service is great, needed help finding something on two occasions and always received assistance with a friendly smile. I don’t believe I’ve ever shopped a Target I didn’t find something to throw money at.

We love the State Street Target. Made a special trip to downtown Chicago to visit.

Got here to buy some wine, water and other last minute things. Found what I was looking for and more. I found some Nespresso coffee pods here as well so that was a plus. I didnt get any service but then again I didnt need any. So this visit was good. Will stop by if necessary.

If you have mobility issues i.e. walking long distance, opening doors like I did dont go.

Very pretty Target with great organization, two full floors and attentive staff. Self-checkout is very neat and sanitized.

This store is very conveniently located for me!(I live above the Zumiez) They are well stocked, have nice staff, and seem to be doing well despite the high foot-traffic in the area. If you have to move groceries to a car or carry them a decent distance it is best to get a travel carrier or something to carry the bags in. (I suggest getting one at Walgreens across the street.) It’ll make your life a whole lost easier!

Target Stores have great customer service, and everything needed for home .

Very clean, however the walkability is poor. I understand its a covid protocol but entering on the Corner of State and Madison puts you in a weird place especially for grocery shopping. A natural walk path isnt really intuitive here. Maybe the design was make one spend more money but honestly it makes me just head to the nearest Marianos. I understand this is a very niche complaint so Ill rank it a 4 haha.

Precursor; I frequent this store and spend about $50/week here and many of the employees are amazing individuals, but this is not for one of those great people. Visited this store on 7.3.18 to find this product, not only not locked up, but also for a deal/wrong prince. When I approached an employee and expressed my interest in purchasing the product the discounted price, he called a manager. When the manager arrived, I was greeted with a harsh glare and the tone as if I had done something wrong. When I explained the situation and showed them visual evidence of the error- not only was I called a liar, I was yelled at and told various lies in order for them to try not to sell the product at the price they made an error on. I was told I was hawking the product, which, mind you should be locked up in a glass case in the department. So, not only is this review here, but I have contacted them about how they should maybe not treat customers so poorly, but to maybe take a better look at the job their employees are or are not doing. I feel incredibly disrespected and will NOT be coming back anytime soon. I would leave zero stars if possible. I will however, be respectful and not name the manager.

Better prices than Walgreens but the food selection reminds me of what you can find at gas stations. They also place the food on the second floor in the back, so you have to walk through the entire store. Sloppy shelves and dirty. Its convenient though I can see why people opt for online shopping instead. Staff seem okay though the atmosphere borders on mayhem.

I went in for one item on Saturday night and the woman at the cash register, Jade, was amazing! Without prompting her, she found the item I was purchasing for less on Targets app online and then offered me the lower rate. THEN, she double checked on a competitors site and found it even lower and price matched. She went out of her way and saved me $15. Great service, thank you!

Before I get ready for work in some cases I go to this particular Target store because its convenient for me and close to where I work but lately there have been some employees that act snooty meaning they act as though if Im not buying anything than I must cant afford to buy it which is absolutely ridiculous. Thats stereotyping an individual, and another thing they like to stigmatized people because they carry large bags or carry backpacks which means nothing people who wear backpacks 9 times out of 10 are not homeless and if they are so damn what, I spoke with the manager about this and apparently nothing was done about it thats why I chose to got to another Target store and that was it the people working at this one on 1 S. State seem to have some major issues, I like the Target in Ford City mall better way better.

And if you’re a newbie I suggest you traverse the dollar 💵 spot aisle or the shelves near the entrance where affordable finds and chic accoutrements are and usually stocked according to season and holidays etc. Take for instance this wonderful find I have found: wire egg 🥚 holder as beauty sponge stand/holder. So cute and clever me 😄🤓😜

Always easy, I do in store pick up a lot to grab things on my way home from work. Want to give a special shout out to the person who decided to put a sticker with my name on it on my pick up item so they could find it easily. Especially on the glass of the frame I picked up instead of on the box the frame came in. Thank you for that.

Convenient location and hours. Is usually well stocked in items.Cashiers are friendly and courteous.They now stock Ben & Jerrys non-dairy ice cream for the lactose intolerant. It is really good. If you have been missing out Ben & Jerrys is the best.

I work downtown so, I come here often to grab food from the grocery section, for lunch. It is also a good place to grab quick things you need, like filling an Rx or buying that last minute birthday gift or socks for the kiddo. I really wish their girls clothing section were better. Plenty of cute things for toddlers but not so much once they get passed that stage.

Beautiful Target close to many subway lines. Its one block from the Washington line. Two stories with beautiful columns inside. There is a Pret a Manger inside for food and a grocery section on the top floor. The upper floor is much larger than the ground floor. There is a good self checkout section too.

I had forgotten some cash in the check out machine towards the front and after I ran back two blocks, the wonderful women upfront were expecting me with my cash AND my receipt. I cant thank them enough. Excellent customer service.

Perfect for a spot to grab essentials and offers a break from the endless Walgreens that line our streets. This offers a Home section too with cute decor and a surprising selection of furniture. The best feature is that Target offers SHIPT, so they will delivery groceries to your home, or after purchase so you dont have to carry them home.As far as in-store shopping experiences, it has a nice selection of greeting cards, workout clothing and Chicago themed clothing and trinkets. Overall, Targets recently updated their clothing lines and offer a newer, more fashionable selection. Bonus: better bathrooms then what you will find along State St.

This is a multi level Target store in the middle of the loop on Madison street. The store is modern and everything is organized like any other store. They carry all common products and have a big grocery section. The checkout lanes are generally fast and have friendly service.

Love the preservation of the Sullivan architecture and how it was integrated into a Target. I go here to get my prescriptions filled because I like walking around in the building. The shelves are always very neat and enjoyable to look through as well.Naturally being downtown some things seem to be more expensive than at other Targets, but it is the most convenient store in the loop.

It was so convenient and super easy to just pickup my order and go about my holiday shopping. They had multiple employees checking the line regularly, to make sure someone is getting your order. The wait time was minimal. Literally I was helped within 2 minutes of getting in line, and this was on Christmas eve when the store was super crowded.

You can find a lot of good stuff here. There are gift items for as low as 5 USD and the quality of the items are good. Theres just one lady whos not really friendly, the one putting the stocks on the shelves. near the school supplies. but most of the other staff are helpful even the guard.
