Hands down this barbershop is 🔥🔥🔥. Veronica, Miguel or really any barber in there can take care of you. All of them are experienced and if you’re looking for a fade that is a piece a cake for them. They’re all professional trained and take the time to understand the look you want and will keep working until you’re 100% happy. This is the only place I go to in Chicago.

This has been my go too spot for over a year now. I’ve had my hair cut by multiple barbers at the shop and they are all great! They have an amazing environment for a Chicagoan that loves sports and they always play great music!! All great people who work there and you can have a good conversation with all of them. Stopped at Kings for my every five week haircut.Jose is my go-to guy - he takes his time and ensures Im happy with what hes doing every step of the way.There are no issues or attitude if I ask for a little more (or less) work on any particular haircut.Jose is my regular, but Ive also had cuts by Stephany, Jo, Rico, Sal and Zeus. I have no reservations recommending any of these folks.

Ive been a regular at this shop since early 2019!When I moved to Chicago I spent about a good 6-months looking for a barbershop that does my hair right but is also pretty chill. Check out my boy Sal because he not only gives me a clean cut every time, but is easy to talk to and really looks out for you.

I have been back in Chicago since April and once they reopened I have been going to Zeus and he is a very skilled barber. Zeus does an excellent job and I highly recommend him. The entire staff at Kings are very friendly and all do amazing work.

Rico is who I recommend, but Ive gone to multiple barbers and everyone is great. Always on time, always clean and good prices. I make a monthly appointment and look forward to it every month.

I’ve been constantly searching for a barbershop to call home after moving to Chicago about 3 years ago. A friend showed me Kings on Instagram and I was instantly hooked. After my first cut I wouldn’t even suggest going anywhere else. This is THE place to get a fresh cut if you live in Lakeview or the surrounding areas.

I had a really bad experience with my last barber so I came in to King’s after reading all the good reviews online. I was not disappointed Sal did a great job at fixing what my old barber messed up on and I can happily say I’ve found my new barbershop.This is probably one of the best skin fades I’ve ever gotten.Highly recommend it!

I got a line-up from Rob aka ‘Take’ that was very fresh, he took his time, gave me a great beard line as well. They played some dope hip-hop, had a good conversation, and positive vibes all around. Well worth it!

I’ve been to quite a few barbershops in this city. Other cities too. I’ve cared about the quality of my haircut and rocked many different hair styles over the years, and have met many different barbers with many regular, skilled guys over the years. All that being said, I was thoroughly impressed by Kings Barber Shop. Found them from a reccomendation from my friend and was sold from their website and social media accounts. It was clear these guys can work the clippers and know how to use a straight razor. Booked an appointment with Sal, showed up early (before the shop technically opens) and they were already up and running and ready for me (along with one other guy already sitting in a chair with the owner). Sal took his time, gave me an exceptional cut, was amazing with the straight blade on my beard, and the vibe in the shop was great. A lot of the little details that separate great barbers from the average were very apparent. The owner also gave the guy next to me a top tier cut too. This shop is going to blow up... I know this because I have been to the other “popular” spots in this city and left largely unimpressed. Check these guys out, they do it right.

Finally a place in Lakeview that provides a mad decent fade with positive vibes. Also seems that ever barber can give a fade with precise lining. Would gladly go again and again.

I have been to many high-end salons paying around 80 bucks for a mens cut. Ive wanted to go to a barber for some time but couldnt find the attention to detail and professionalism I find in a salon. I walked into Kings one day and sat in the chair and was treated like a king! Sal did an amazing job and proved you can get a reasonably priced cut and professional service all in one. Great conversation and great craftsmanship.

Great service. I forgot the name of the guy who cut my hair, I think it started with an E? Anyways, he spent close to 45 minutes cutting my hair which isnt typical for a barber shop. Every other barber shop Ive been to in the area, the barbers rush it and take no more than 20 minutes. I was very impressed by his attention to detail. Very reasonably priced as well. Only $25 for a superb mens haircut. I will be back

These guys are all capable of doing a great job. It may feel a bit crowded but you never have to wait too long.

Ever since my high and tight military days (theres a helluva lot of humor in that statement: bwahahahaHA!), Ive been a big fan of getting a zeroed out edge. Over the years Ive increasingly shied away from that detail as very few barbers or stylists could do it well. BUT I checked out the photos of this place and noticed a good few photos matched what Ive been missing.Long story shorter? I got a great haircut (short on top and tapered sides with a zeroed out line) and will be back. GOOD times.IMO this is what a barber shop should be: A cool/casual environment, good conversation, and a great haircut.

Finally I find the best place for haircut. Well deserved 5 stars. Came walk in, no appointment and Rico took one hour for my hair and the result was amazing.

Best skin fade in Chicago. Awesome place, all the barbers are super friendly and MY LORD do they do a fantastic job. Pro tip: get there after 3 and you might receive a beer as well ;).

Ive never been to an actual barber before and Kings made it a great first experience! Everyone was friendly and Kiké did a great job. The price was right and he really took his time. It was a way better experience than the standard hair cut chain that rushes you through. Ill be going to Kings for my haircut and beard trims from now on.

Theyre professional and gave me a great haircut. They keep the shop nice and clean, too. Id go there more often if I lived in the neighborhood.

Been going here for about a year for cuts but first time I come back in after COVID I asked for a fade and the barber left me bald almost to the top of my head. Wont be coming back here.

Just moved to the area and needed a haircut. Seeing the rave reviews at this place, I decided to skip the usual chain salons, and go to an actual barbershop. I was not disappointed! They really took their time and did a fantastic job with the cut, even with my vague instructions. What set them above the rest, was when I forgot to bring cash & my atm pin wasnt working they were chill about it and let me venmo them. Will definitely be back with cash in hand!
