I frequent this store. The service received is always kind and helpful. Always has the products I need. Convenient location considering there aren’t many urban beauty supply stores in the area (South Loop). Easy to access in and out even though it’s along a busy strip of Roosevelt I always get decent parking!

Two years ago, black staff members followed me around the store and yet, I still spent $50 our of desperation. Stopped shopping there and shipped in burbs. Last Friday, needed some items that I could not find so I ended up shopping at this location again. Happy to see new mature staff members, one I think, A Man of God and an Asian man. The following Sunday, I check my bank statement and see a MANUAL hand input charge of the exact same purchase I made two days earlier WITH my credit card!! I spoke to the two staff members and was told there was no second charge DESPITE bringing proof of mt receipt AND my credit card statement!! Which means the store profited twice. However, I CANCELLED my card and told the staff, IF I SHOP HERE I WILL PAY CASHShameful!!

This is my favorite place. They have reasonable prices

Limited with haircare products. Customer service wasnt up to standards. They only had one young lady behind the register and she wasnt knowledgeable at all with any hair care products. These guys were working out in front of the store bringing dry wall into a busy business with customers n I was in fear of my life while shopping there. Will not shop there again!

They are very friendly and very helpful and informative! Great knowledge on their products and they explain in great detail how the products work! They close their doors at 6:50pm so you have to get there by 6:45 . They always greet you and my experience there has always been great! I recommend this store to everyone!

There very helpful they just never answer the phone

Customer service is...there is no customer service. I can get over no one greeting you when you walk in, even though its rude, but whatever. However, absolutely no one ever stopped and offered to help me. This location needs someone more helpful in the wig department. After looking at the selection for about 10 minutes with no offer of assistance, I found one I wanted to inquire about that was on a bust. I bring the bust up to the lady and ask her where can I get a wig like this? She rudely replies We dont have none like that. Okay, well that helps. Then after I put it back she mentions what two wigs they actually carry thats closest to what I was looking for. I was going to go forward and just buy a few hair styling products; but after the lack of customer service I experienced, I decided I didnt want to give this place one red cent and walked tf out.

Always get what Im looking for here

Don’t get me wrong they have all the items you need. However, they follow you around the store as if you’re a thief. It defeats the purpose of being a black owned beauty supply if you’re going to do the same thing as Asian/ Korean beauty supplies to BLACK people. I’ve been here several times and felt uncomfortable each time due to the lack of customer service and rude attitude of the owner. The only reason why I even come is because it’s my neighborhood beauty supply. Save your money. Go to the hood, they over priced any ways.

Yeah like the beauty supply house for one reason you get points every time you shop so thats good for broke days but they do not have good selection and a little high

You cant get your money back for a returned item. It becomes a store credit. Forcing you to come back.
