Best tea-ware with large ceramic mugs that come with lids and steepers. If you like green tea with a floral kick try the Buddha blend.One thing to note on the ceramic mugs though- over time the inside of the glasses will develop hairline cracks that you barely notice but you cannot completely clean. Still love the mugs but could do without that.

My wife loves Davids Tea. The Water Tower Mall location probably has the nicest employees all Davids Tea locations. Just such nice people. The tea is good too.

I really liked this shop, its the only tea store in the area for one, but also the employees were extremely helpful. They have a wide selection of tea flavors and types, and they offer them in bulk amounts or in fresh drinks, hot or cold. The tea itself was very flavorful in my experience, and a good pick-me-up amongst the hustle of downtown Chicago.

The tea store has some boxes of tea that Id consider expensive for just 15 sachets of tea. Maybe its the quality of tea that causes the price. If you are willing to pay that price, you may like this tea shop. The store looked well kept and clean, however the people who worked there seemed to just stare at you while you looked around. That could just be me being paranoid, but I felt somewhat uncomfortable.

Horrible customer service. When we walked in there was three people working and no one said hi. We were looking to buy a teapot because my husband has a frequent steeper card and I asked about it and no one got close they just yelled sold out across the small store. Also, there was a person in front of me and I asked if we can take the display model and they ignored me.

First time here, I had heard great things about the quality of the tea and such. Unfortunately my experience was terrible. I came with my spouse and 2 friends, and 3 of us got drinks.While it was slightly busy, the woman taking our orders couldnt keep ours and the gentleman who came after us straight, and kept fumbling around. She also couldnt hear us properly, when my spouse inquired about flavored matchas she assumed we all wanted them for some reason. She also couldnt keep the fact we were paying seperately from my friends straight.The gentleman who came after us actually got his order before we even did, and was checked out before we even got our drinks.We figured the woman was new or something, but when asked she said she wasnt. Just that she hadnt done matcha shots.The tea quality was also far below what I had expected. It tasted very bland. I cant honestly recommend this place at all.

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff!!! Their cast iron kettles are the at the best prices. About $120 dollars cheaper for the exact same kettle at Argo tea. Try the Nepal Black.

So many flavors to smell. I prefer the straight teas. And its one the 7th floor, so take the express elevator. Nothing else to do or get at Water Tower Place.

We went in about 5 minutes ago and were totally dismissed. We asked to see a green tea and she proceeded to show us the tea that was already open in front of her which was an black nutty tea. The store was completely empty besides the two employees. We were so excited to go, we live out of town and do not have one. They were extremely rude and didnt ask me if I wanted a tea at all after finally getting my friend her green tea. So awful!
