My journey with Chicago Ink was absolutely amazing. They made an artist mishap right and have earned sincere loyalty.Id like to personally mention two gentleman by name:Bryan front desk went so far beyond the line of duty for me and I was so impressed. His attention to time and communication exchange was the single most impressive administrative process Ive had in the tattoo game.Irvin- artistA match made blindly with the help of Bryan. Irvin and I clicked perfectly. His superior attention to placement, perfection, my comfort levels. Etc. He took a vision I had, and made it even better. A term often used is looks like a sticker thats what Irvin gave to me in tonights tattoo.I live in the area and will visit Chicago Ink as many times as they will let me!

Ive been considering getting my tongue pierced for about a month but was very nervous. I called Chicago Ink & Body Piercing and from the moment my call was answered I already knew this is the place I wanted to go to. The gentleman who answered my call was amazing and answered a few questions I had over the phone that I went right over and got my piercing done the same day. I was a bit anxious before going inside but when I did the customer service was A+. The gentleman in front was actually the same person who answered my call today. He chatted with me and answered some more questions while I was waiting my turn which helped with my nerves. My piercer was Windy and she was amazing she made me feel very comfortable and ensured me I would do great. I didnt feel a thing and I thank you both for being kind and showing me that great people and customer service still exist. For anyone looking to get pierced or tattooed this is the place to go to.

This is a really nice and SUPER CLEAN place. So many tattoo artist to choose from and the piercing department is very fast and helpful. Irving Park location is definitely a must see in person. Very covid-19 safe with sanitizer dispenser all over.

Let me start off by saying, it was very hard to find a place that does baby earlobe piercings. I dont trust one of those mall places. My daughter is 3 months old and I am very satisfied with my babys outcome. Windy the lady that did babys piercing was great and took her time to do placement. I would definitely be back.

I absolutely loved the vibe here! The service was amazing from start to finish. I went in to get a nose piercing (my first piercing that wasn’t my ear). I read so many reviews about this place and was pretty confident my experience would be good. I was CORRECT! Itzel pierced my nose and it was so quick and easy I barely felt it. She was professional and comforting the whole process. My pain tolerance is really low, but Itzel made it effortless. I am extremely pleased with my nose piercing!

I had an amazing time!! Everyone I met was welcoming and friendly answering all my questions about my helix piercings. They even helped me chose my jewelry when I was having a hard time. Also, they answered all my questions about tattoos and show me who to go too as well. I highly recommend this place to get any piercing or tattoo!! You won’t regret this trust me!!

So I have to start with how we ended up here.. Saturday, March 20th 2021.. My best friend and I went to our local gas station, filled the tank up and randomly decided to pick a direction and just drive. We went north and landed in Chicago. Which, weve been trying to go explore for a few years. I was determined to get a tattoo and found this place. I was instantly flabbergasted by the tattoo shop. Its clean, soo much to look at, they have an impeccable variety of body piercings! The artists art is shown on their individual tv screens by their room. I couldnt stop watching, the art is beyond impressive.. and, the artists have paintings they have painted in their room as well. Note: Dont bother asking, they wont sell them. Lol. Just appreciate it. We were able to walk in, masks on, filled out paperwork and talked with a walk-in artist. Make sure you have an ID! Of course, if you want a bigger, more detailed tattoo, you will have to book an appointment. You can pay with cash or credit/debit. I recommend Alan, Chris and/or Carlos, but everyones style is different. The staff and service was cool, easy to get along with will listen to your tattoo ideas and then some. Awesome people in the entire shop and can not wait to go back! Its well worth the 4 hour drive to get insanely awesome work done! I took my daughter to get her nose pierce. The place was clean and super luxurious. I love the way they have display screens on the wall next to each room displaying the name, photo, and work of each artist. The piercing artist, Windy, was professional, kind, and understanding because although I wasnt the one getting pierced, I was more nervous than my daughter. LOL The gentleman behind the counter was great. He greeted us soon as we walked in. He was very helpful and super nice.Chicago Ink Tattoo & Body Piercing have a wide selection of jewelry, tattoo and piercing care products. I am very impressed with this tattoo shop. We are considering going back for matching tattoos soon. So Ill come back and let you all know about that experience.

Got a snake eye and it was so quick, im like wow Im done? Very clean, sterile, and gives you good after care directions. Definitely will be back for more piercings and tattoos.

Got my septum pierced and scheduled a tattoo appointment today. I had Windy as my piercer, and she was so nice and so fast, and answered all of my dumb questions 😂 I had Rafael as my tattoo artist. I came in with a rough sketch and he helped me to perfect it,, and gave me exactly what I was looking for 🖤 Its also worth mentioning that this place is so clean and everyone here is so professional. 10/10 recommend!!!!

Ruben is an amazing artist who I would 100% recommend if you are looking to get a tattoo. He absolutely fullfilled my expectations and provided clear instructions on how to take care of it after. I got my nose pierced by Rossmerry! She is amazing, she took the time to look at my face shape and suggest the placement of the piercing. I’ve had my nose pierced 3 times before this and I never really liked the piercing but I’m in love with mine! It was quick and relaxed I love it!

Rossmery was so incredible!! I went to get my double high nostril piercing and she was so wonderful, patient and sweet to me about wanting the perfect placement. We spent probably 5-10 minutes just getting the perfect spot. The piercing took a whole minute, she was so fast and skilled. I cannot recommend her enough. I dont think Ill go anywhere but here for my next piercings.

Windy pierced my sisters ears and they look nice. The people are super nice and patient with you, and the place is so sanitary. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a piercing.

Came in for new jewelry and was not ready for the amount of variety’s they have! Different gauges and styles, all very clean since the jeweler gives you tweezers to look through it. Brayan was super helpful and made sure I got what I came in for.Glad they expanded from their other business on Belmont and Milwaukee with their consistent reputation. The whole atmosphere is almost stunning almost surreal. Next time I’m going there, it’ll be for the full experience.

I just went to Mercy for the second time and she is seriously the best! I’ve gotten a sternum tattoo and a quote going down my back! Her work is impeccable, especially her line work! I was in Chicago for a bit of an extended layover and decided last minute to get a tattoo while I waited. This place came up with the best reviews and close to the train station. Perfect! Their email, text and call systems work well. I came in shortly after they opened which was a good thing because they got busy shortly after and steadily increased while I was there. My artist drew and did my tattoo in less than 3 hours and it is perfect. Good quality, good prices, good service and so so happy with my decision to go here! The piercer herself was friendly, just always remember to tell them what your current jewelry size is to make sure everyone is on the same page.

I got a piercing done in Denver that was too high and needed a horse shoe long enough. I’ve been to a few states and nobody has had any long enough. This place is a rip off... I took my two daughters to get their nose pierced and I paid 190 bucks for just 2 piercing. I later than wanted my nose so I went to Tattoo Cav and any piercing is 20 cash 25card. So if youre looking to pierce anything go to Tattoo Cav on Harlem & Addison.

Got my center of my tongue pierced and am very pleased with it. They were very thorough and clean and made sure I liked where it was placed. Also made sure I know how to properly clean it. Definitely would go back again

Mercy was awesome to work with! We were originally assigned a different tattoo artist that rubbed us the wrong way, were glad we asked for someone else and thank God it was Mercy! Her lines were prestine and precise. She did exactly what we wanted, gave her input but ultimately made sure her customers were happy. We were not disappointed at all. I came here a few weeks ago to get my septum pierced! Nervous as hell. I was a walk in on a weekday, they took care of me right away. And can I say oh my god Windy is a MAGICIAN. I didn’t even feel the needle, she got the jewelry through the piercing so damn fast. If you’re worried about pain or needles you gotta go to Windy. Fantastic experience with Windy at Chicago Ink Tattoo and Body Piercing. We were a group of three getting a variety of ear/nose piercings. Windy was patient, gave great advice, and did a wonderful job with the piercings. We all loved the final results. The facility felt very clean and seemed to be taking good Covid precautions.

I got a Christina piercing done, by Itzel. It came out great. Itzel is Extremely Fast and professional and experience wasnt awkward, considering lol. Felt extremely safe and comfortable and the piercing is amazing!!! Honestly I’m afraid of needles and this wasn’t painful at all. I was a walk in and was out in about less than 30 mins. I went in there on a Thursday to get a nipple piercing with a couple of friends and the staff was very welcoming. Brian was very attentive and knowledgeable about the whole process and didnt hesitate to assist us. It was also done in a very clean and private manner that can make anyone feel comfortable with getting a needle through their skin. Will be coming back.

The place looks really cool on the inside and it was nice and clean. There were plenty of people waiting when we went in on a Saturday night around 7ish for a nose piercing. The guy at the counter was very nice and he handled the flow of customers with great customer service. The reason why I gave this review 2 stars is because of the wait time and overall experience. My daughter and I waited over 2 hrs for her piercing. I would have left if it were for me but she really wanted it so I waited patiently. I think it would help if someone kept waiting customers updated on their wait time every so often.There was a jump the line incident that happened while I was there. There was a new girl behind the counter and she mixed up the paperwork and a guy that had just come in and been there for only 15 min got called for his piercing before us and all the other people that had been waiting. The guy behind the counter realized the mistake and he let her know and she seemed genuinely sorry and apologetic. The girl who should have gone next was given a discount on her service. I think a better gesture would have been a discount for every one that should have been in front of the guy. My kid was happy so I guess thats what matters. My advice is not to go here on a Saturday night.************UPDATE **********The shop read my review and they did call to offer their apology and a free item. MIND BLOWN! The lady didnt try to argue or dispute my account. She apologized immediately and tried to make it right. It really is all about customer service with me and even though our experience wasnt the best, their follow up made up for it. Review updated from 🌟🌟 to 🌟🌟🌟🌟 !
