My stylist Emily was phenomenal because she was knowledgeable, conscientious of body proportions and what suits each figure, personable and filled with blunt honesty. She knew exactly how to translate (and balance) the style and venue into exactly what I envisioned. Did I mention the quality?!!I will echo the other reviewers. The Vera Wang store is pristinely clean, with an open floor plan and matte black walls that create a canvas to truly appreciate the fine craftsman in every dress.As the bride, you have the ability to work hands-on with your stylist to develop your own vision for the big day.Plus, the setting is so romantic, sleek and peaceful that it truly just makes you want to put on a gorgeous ballgown! I was able to walk around in dress after dress, take photos and videos of the dresses to compare, drink champagne, toss around ideas, try veils and flowers and come back for more. My best friend (the bride), her mother and I came to Vera Wang Chicago for her very first dress shopping experience. We could not have been any more lucky to be helped by Wendy. She was so down to earth, personable, and attentive. She knew the brides bra size, shoe size, and venue (which is in Canada) without even having to ask. We ended up saying yes to the very first dress Wendy picked out after trying on several others. I cannot even put into words how professional and amazing Wendy is. I went to Vera Wang just to try on wedding dresses with no intention to purchase one because I thought the prices were 10k+, which is more than I would ever want to ever spend on a dress I will wear only once.When I got there, Wendy, greeted me and asked all about what type of dress I would like and what my price range was. To my surprise, the prices were much more decent, with a range beginning at around 4k (that may sound like a lot for a wedding dress, but these days, 4k-6k is the average for a nice wedding dress).Plus, they serve drinks and some of the best hazelnut cupcakes in Chicago (they tasted like ferrero rochers!).The service in general is superb. Wendy helped me get into the dresses and discussed the Styles/materials with me. She really knows her stuff!The Vera Wang store is clean, open and kind of just makes you want to put on a gorgeous ballgown! When you like a dress, you can walk down a long hallway and see how the dress flows as if you are walking down the aisle!And I kind of fell in love with a dress here...!
