Stopped in to get my battery tested to confirm I needed it replaced. I did need a new battery and they replaced it for me for just the cost of the battery. Jeff help me me and did everything quickly with a positive attitude. I was very impressed with the service and it was busy when I got there and he did a great job managing the other customers. Highly recommend over a pep boys or autozone.
I WAS LUCKY THE GUY IN THE STORE NOTICED THE BATTERY IORDERED WASNT THE SAME AS THE ONE THAT CAME IN MYGPS (Made in China). HE HAD THE CORRECT ONE ON THE WALL.BY RAYCO. IT FIT AND TURNED ON IMMEDIATELY. HE SAID TOGIVE IT A FULL CHARGE AND DOWNLOAD THE CURRENT MAPSAFTER IT GOT CHARGED UP. SAVED ME AN EXTRA TRIP.
Ordered a battery online, which went fine. Ended up not needing it, and called the store to return it. The sales associate on the phone tried to get me to read my full credit card info to him over the phone, claiming they cannot simply cancel the order and refund the card that was used to make the original purchase. Its 2017; theres no way this is possible. They are clearly attempting to steal credit card at this store.
Staff was GREAT! it took a wee bit longer to install my new car battery than I planned but the fact that they made effort to install it for me earns them an extra stars. Highly recommend!
I needed the charging port replaced on my Galaxy S6. I worked directly with Jeff, who provided some of the best customer service Ive ever experienced in my life. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. He completed the work within the timeframe given and went above and beyond with the repair to ensure my phone would be working for the long haul. I would go back in a heartbeat, and recommend you go see Jeff if your phone needs some fixing.
I rode my motorcycle to the store on Clybourn Avenue in Chicago to pick up a camcorder battery that I purchased online. When I left, my motorcycle wouldnt start. I came back in the store and my salesperson offered to give me a jump. He did so, and I ended up buying a trickle charger. When I got home, I turned off the bike, then tried to start it again. It wouldnt start. I put the trickle charger on overnight and it now starts up fine. I would have to say my experience at Batteries Plus Bulbs was outstanding. I will shop there again.
I have been here a few times after a friend recomended them & each time I have had a great experience; today I needed a watch battery for an unusual kind of watch. Jeff helped me & had no problem & I was on my way in 10 minutes.
What a great team! I had two iPhones that needed new batteries. I shopped around for pricing and found that Batteries Plus had the best pricing in my area. It took a bit of back and forth with corporate and this franchise location before we could get an appointment scheduled for the replacement but finally the franchise owner was notified of the issues and he got his store manager involved to get us in for the repair.During the repair one of the phones exploded. It was shown to me and I saw a pile of melted glass and metal on a workbench. They not only bought me a brand new iPhone of the same flavor that I had before but they compensated us on the second battery they were able to install without issue.Great people and Im really sorry that they had to buy a new phone for us but Im super impressed that they were willing to go the extra mile for us. Id recommend them to anyone!

His was my visit experience with batteries and bulbs, I can’t believe the excellent customer service Darius provided. I needed to get have my car battery replaced - he tested my battery and replaced it all within a 1/2 hr and with a smile on this hot humid day . Best customer service award goes to Darius !! He went above and beyond !
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM MANAGEMENT AT THIS LOCATION!My story: I purchased an iPhone battery there on February 20, 2016. The cost was $66.14. This week, as I updated my phone I received an error message from the apple app on my computer. Since the battery was brand new, I took it to a service specialist to see if there was an issue with the other components in the phone. They tested the battery out first. While reading the battery, the testing devise read invalid code. The battery was defective. Initially, it was not certain that the battery was the actual problem, so there was no reason to return to this location. So after getting a new battery placed into my phone, I returned the battery, with the original receipt, back to this location. The young man behind the desk heard what had happened, then called the manager on the phone from the back office. He returned to tell me there was nothing they would do. This is a classic example of are your systems making you stupid? The manager chose the policy handbook over common sense and customer satisfaction.
The man who helped me was cordial and efficient. He was vey nice to carry old battery into store and my new battery into my car. I was in a different car than what i was going to put new battery in
Don’t go here-car battery died in just over a year. They took my battery to test it for “24 hours”...never got a call back as they’d promised, and after 5 days I’m still getting the run around. Now that I’ve finally gotten a hold of someone, I’m being told that even though my battery is under warranty they won’t honor it due to “customer abuse”. I guess using it in the cold in the city where you bought it invalidates your warranty. I know we’ve had extreme cold lately, but they shouldn’t sell warranties if they don’t intend to honor them. I’m more upset at the fact that they’ve wasted my time by holding my battery for almost a week and not getting back to me-shockingly unprofessional.
Not a good shopping experience at all. I took advantage of the option to make my purchase online (2 batteries for my cordless phone), and then pick up at the Batteries Plus store. When I arrived at the store on Thursday, I find out that only one battery was in stock ands I would have to return on Monday to pick up the second battery. I went in on Tuesday and was told the battery was not yet in and it would be another couple of days for it to arrive. Pretty poor service as far as I am concerned.

The worst experience ever!!!!! Dropped off my phone for a replacement battery and charger port and I paid $169 upfront. They called once and informed me that the phone still needed work. I never heard back and when I went in to finally pick up the phone, they said they recycled it!! The rep in the store’s response was “it’s not my fault, it’s yours”. I’m furious!!!! This is unbelievable!!!!
Regrettably, I didnt have the best experience with the site or the in-house service. I made a battery purchase online for pickup and the site clearly said that it was in-stock at the location. I got there and the representative working said that they didnt carry it. Not that it wasnt in-stock, but that they just dont carry that battery at the location. Mind you, he was willing to give me another battery for the moment I was charged online but even his personable skills needed some adjusting. My boyfriend and I felt like we were bothering him, as if it annoyed him to work with us. It made the whole exchange uncomfortable. Sucks because this was my first experience with this company, and it wasnt a good one.
The purchase was as seamless as possible. The battery was there waiting for me. The only downside was the 9 hours to bring the battery up to a full charge using a Battery Tender (1.25A).
Got a good price on a car battery last year, 11 months later the battery light came on in my car, they gave it a quick test and changed it out and installed a new one for me immediately. Girl there was very helpful.

The worst place to get batteries, they basically live up 2 few months, even being used. They do not want to replaced them. Do not go there for any reason, spend few more bucks and get something decent. Waste of time and money. China go home!
They usually do not install batteries. I was in spdesperate need of help and the manger himself installed the battery for me. It was above and beyond the call of duty!They had the battery in stock an they gave me 15% off. Autozone refused to install it. They said it was too difficult. They did not have it in stock and would have it 20-30 hours later.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or any batteries plus. I bought the most expensive battery that they recommended with my car because it had a 5 year warranty. 2 years in, battery dead. I go to a certified repair shop. They said I was sold a marine battery, inappropriate for my car, and that caused the alternator to work extra hard, and now the alternator is out. Called the store, and they said I had to talk to the owners that was two weeks ago. Local store will not even warranty the battery out for no apparent reason. No they say Ill pass your info on the owners. Hmm. Rude at the store again when I called in today after calling yesterday where they were going to have owners call. Been uninterested in warranting the $250 battery from the beginning, but now since their employee installed the wrong battery - they basically want nothing to do with me. No owner, no explanation, nothing. It wasnt walmart where I went in bought a battery- put it in myself, I went in and they installed what they recommended. Justin says I dont care if you leave bad reviews.

When I entered store 267 on 1/3/18, I expected to receive the battery I purchased, instead sales person appeared to be playing a game with me where he put 2 batteries on the counter confusing me and made me feel he was trying to give me a cheaper battery so I called and spoke with Andy from your administrative offices and she read off the serial #s for the battery I purchased which really helped me to receive the correct battery. The sales person felt insulted and wouldnt install battery so Andy talked with your store in Oak Ok Il & let them know I was coming just for installation. So, not only was I denied installation but I didnt receive my warranty for battery. He then explained what my options where & what they offer. Free battery check that was awesome so you dont by a battery if u dont need to. So saturday the battery was dead. Had my screen on my I-phone repaired at this location, Bad idea 2 weeks later the screen is detaching from the phone took it back and now my phone doesnt work. Bad service every time I call I have to wait till management gets back to the store, theres only one person working and usually cant help you. Would like a refund back but Im pretty sure it wont be till management gets back and God knows when that is. Lesson learned go with your phone provider next time. avoid this place for phone repairs!!!!

Before my last visit, I would have given Batteries Plus 4 stars. They have always been very helpful and I even have their lifetime battery option on a few of my watches. My polar was flashing low battery I went into to get a new one, because its super frustrating to go to work out only to find the watch with a dead battery.The guy who helped me said the battery wasnt dead and I explained why I wanted the new one replaced before it actually died. I live about 20 minutes away from their store and its a hassle getting over there.He begrudgingly changed the battery worked, but a week later its dead.Now I have to make ANOTHER trip over there when all I really wanted to do was work out this am. NOT have to take a 40 minute excursion before doing so.

This store does not deserve a single star. They put me on hold where I could hear the conversation in the background for ten minutes while he changed phone battery for customer and returned to quote me $44 for an aftermarket Galaxy Grand Prime battery I can buy on Internet for $7.

My cellular carrier said my phone has a battery issue that caused unresponsiveness and recurring rebooting problems. i ordered a replacement battery from Batteries Plus Bulbs and it was ready within an hour. we tested my phone with the replacement battery at the store but it still didnt work. Batteries Plus Bulbs not only let me return the replacement battery on the spot, but they also helped me diagnose the phone and suggested potential reasons for my phones problems without charge.
