This is a smaller and less stocked store compared to the one closed down on Michigan Ave. Before men, women and kids each have its own floor with multiple items. This store have less then half of what I was expectingπ₯² and feels old and uninspired. The location is terrible, no parking nearby. Itβs in the depressing part of town. The original location was so much better.
This location become the only UNIQLO in downtown Chicago now. After they closed the flagship store on Michigan Avenue. Clerk-less check out process is very interesting, go check it out yourself ;)
I am buying from Uniqlo since last 6 years. As I was living in tokyo, Uniqlo is the famous and stores are available at all most all areas in tokyo.I love the fitting and material as well designs by uniqlo.Pricing in chicago and Japan are bit different and sizes are different as well (suppose buying M in Japan is XS in USA), but still I love to visit this place in state street. Definitely I would recommend.
I miss the Michigan avenue location. This brand has such great products and its a bummer not being able to browse more of them.
Our first time here! The store is super clean, well organized, visible sections and staff are friendly. As you walk in they have a greeter. If you are looking for a simple clean style this is the place. They have good pricing for clothing. You will find mens, women and children clothing.
We didnt know Uniqlo on Michigan Avenue was closed! But it was a fairly short walk to this location. Fine experience.
Staff is pretty nice, and being a massive location you have pretty good odds of finding what you need.
This location is a small, cramped mess compared to the old location. The location on Michigan avenue have a flagship shopping experience while this new state street location has a fraction of the selection and is cramped in the basement. Feels like a depression old mall store now. Really, really awful for the brand here.
Outstanding products. Great value and very comfy, fit just right. Super smart, intuitive design. Love the flex fit dress pants. Best office pants Ive ever owned, sturdy and very comfortable. My wife also loves the stretch t-shirts. Theyre super casual but presentable too.
Clothes are on the small size. They had a loot of things but low supply on items.... hats, t-shirts etc. Long wait for a cashier to ring you up!
Amazing apparels shop with pocket friendly prices. The quality of the dresses are so nice and when we went there was a huge sale going with jeans, mens shirts, t-shirts but couldnt buy those since they ran out on our sizes :/ nevertheless we could always order it online.
Not as big as some of the other UNIQLO stores, but still decent for everyday items. No big graphic tees wall though.
Had the anime collab shirts that I wanted. I will admit it didnt have a lot of the collab styles in stock like LAs Uniqlo. However this store definitely had more anime shirts than the Uniqlo on Michigan Ave in Chicago. In return the M. Ave one had one awesome store design. Overall both stores are still good.
It would have been better if I could try on stuff. Would have bought more.
ZERO customer service policy. I live in Chicago and bought a blazer at a store in the suburb when I visited a friend. It can only be returned at the same location where I made the purchase. So I will have to drive 25 miles for the return. Do NOT buy anything from the store if you are traveling.
So glad this location in the State street. Good qualities with real reasonal prices and regular deals. β€οΈβ€οΈ
I like the brand but was not able to shop in the store because of the too much light.
Changed the store hour to close at 6pm. I was counting on picking up my online order there after my work downtown. What store on a main shopping street closes at 6pm?
I love this brand. I want to buy the whole store π
I like this brand. They have Small size fit for me, like xxs.Quality is always great.
Great selection of clothing. One of my favorite stores in Chicago. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
Great prices. Cute selection of track and casual clothing.
Great Clothing. Last long and stylish.
The clothes here are kind of dull and expensive. They have a UT collab which was nice though.
Every associate busy talking to another coworker from the moment you walk in with the insincere greeting straight back to conversation.
I love Uniqlo and I normally order online for free in-store pickup at the Michigan Ave store. Uniqlo recently (and hopefully temporarily) made the Michigan Ave store unavailable for pickup so now I have to go to State. This location sucks! The staff are less friendly (bordering on rude), the store is cramped, and sections are not clearly marked. Also, they dont take returns on items purchased from other locations. Thats probably a company-wide thing, and not just this location, but seriously?? Its not like the stores are franchised. This makes no sense. I would avoid this location at all costs and just go to Michigan Ave. I asked an employee at Michigan Ave why they no longer do in-store pickup and they said its probably because State St. story doesnt do very well so theyre trying to direct more business to that location. I think that says a lot about how bad State St is.
So, so...same last winter clothesline...
I just want to say how amazing The manager John was and the associate Josephine were. Their store was pretty hectic and there were customers in line ahead of me, giving them the worst time during a global pandemic. Not once did John lose patience for two women I saw who were quite frankly, yelling at him. I would just like to say that I appreciate them for their hard work and doing their best, I know how hard it must be, I had a great experience.
It had some pretty nice stuff.
Loved this place..Uni Qlo Heat tech saved my life on this Chicago winter.
Everyone at this location is SO NICE. Not to say other locations have team members who are less nice, but I just feel like everyone here goes out of their way to say hi and check in. I love the brand in general but it just makes shopping there that much better :)
Today was my first time in that store. I was passing by and went to check out.I was amazed π with the prices and deals. I totally recommend π to anyone check out this store.Unbelievable good!
They wonβt accept returns from other Uniqlo stores unless you exchange it for the a different size of the exact color/same item...so I wouldnβt purchase any gifts here. The cashiers are not very friendly at this location either.
No fitting....no good πThey have unique designs
I serendipitously ran into a long-time friend Downtown Chicago and she brought me to UNIQLO to do her shopping. Wow, I wish I had more time to shop. There were too many deals at their seasonal sale and quality of clothing was outstanding. Unique pieces for up to 75% off the original price. My friend said UNIQLOs is known for their heat-tech clothing, which is light-weight and keeps you warm. She shops there for her entire family πͺ. I will definitely be back soon!
Goof stuff....
They are rude. And requested to talk to manager regarding my issue, they donβt even talk to you.
Good clothes, cheap prices
This store was very unique, it has many clothing items and a large selection, would recommend to check out.
Smaller than the one in river north. Has a basement floor
The store was really well designed and merchandise is displayed well. Everything is nice and bright so you can actually see the merchandise. The basement level is a bit unique as in you dont see that in a lot of stores. My disappointment was in some of the merchandise. Some of it is very decent quality while some of it is absolute garbage. Be careful what you are buying here. Some of it will last you many wears, others youll be lucky if you get a few wears.
Very good assortment
Placed a store pickup order on August 17, got an email to pick up on the 22nd and a reminder email afterward on the 26th. Went to pick up on the 27th but the manager claimed he couldnt find my order but promised to call me the day after. I also called the toll free number but just got the message that the call center has shutdown. So I emailed as suggested but got a generic response that orders could be coming from different warehouse which told me nothing. I have been calling the store this morning but 10 calls so afr no one picked up. We all understand that it is chaotic during the pandemic but when someone placed an order and got confirmation that the order has arrived at the Uniqlo store you should expect to be able to pick up the order. Now the order is nowhere to be found and there is no way to contact customer service. It leaves the customer stranded with no help in sight.
Nice new store in a convenient location. Walking into it, you could be in Tokyo, Seoul or any Uniqlo in the world, they are all so similar. You can usually find some bargains and the quality is good.
Excellent offers for all age groups.
Bought the cutest striped pants and sweater dress here!
Lots of great merchandise at great prices and sake merchandise was a fantastic deal.
I love this place. Its like what H&M wanted to be when it grew up. Clean simple and comfortable and inexpensive. The IKEA of fast fashion. And like Ikea be prepared to walk in for one thing and leave with an overdraft fee. π³
Great to have uniqlo in the Loop now. Much convinient. This store is smaller and has limited collection than the one on Michigan Ave. I believe theyβd stock on seasonal items more at this one, as of now it had a good selection of winter clothing
Ok
They have nice clothes for everyone
No directions for checkout entrance or exit, itβs really misleading and time wasting for customers.
I REALLY DONT LIKE THE RETURN POLICY . I GOT A JACKET FOR A GIFT AND IS TOO BIG . NOW I CANT EXCHANGE FOR A SMALLER SIZE . THIS IS TERRIBLE!
Great essentials
Japanese Gap on steroids!! This store has tons of merchandise!!
I visited a store in December of 2019 when first opened. This is much more convenient location than old one on Michigan Ave. Youthful and original.
The best quality of clothes.
The cashier has bad manner, rude to the customer.
Smaller than the one on the Mag Mile, but its got everything youd need. Picked up a pair of pants and I live in them
The best basics
Dont have a trial room.
Great for basic wardrobe items
I love the cloths here
Glad theres one in the Loop and closer to the El now, but this one was smaller and had a more limited selection than Id anticipated. Also was understaffed when I visited.
Very stylish
GroΓe Auswahl an Kleidung. Einer meiner LieblingsgeschΓ€fte in Chicago. Das Personal ist superfreundlich und hilfsbereit.
The store is clean and organized, you can easily find the products.
I liked mens clothing !!
The best clothing store if you dont want to spend a lot of money and with very good quality and prices
Excellent winter clothing in Chicago
I really like your merchandise
