The spinach and feta croissant was one of the best things I’ve ever had! Coffee was smooth and strong.

They were out of 2 coffee selections. Then the coffee they did give us was just terribly made. Ordered a poppyseed bagel and got a plain one. Flies were circling the barista station because of all of the open containers. Overall unpleasant time

They heated my croissants and it was a deflated butter mess. Hot chocolate was warm at bestbest,bestndugar

Staying at the Drake, so this was my only choice for grabbing a quick breakfast. They were out of quiche and hard boiled eggs multiple days in a row. When I asked why cashier said they no longer carried those items...but they are still on the menu. No protein food options. If you are looking for food, dont stop here.

I like the location of this Lavazza as it is very near by my hood....but their coffee wasnt special..I tried cappuccino...Ive had better one like at Elaine which is my favorite in Chicago so far...It is a convenient location if you stay at Drake or shopping near by. They have decent variety of panini/breakfast menu include smoothies.

They typically make your coffee and food fast. They have good breakfast oprions, I have enjoyed both their paninnis and the quiche. So delicious!

A little but of Italian style in Chicago, perfect for a quick breakfast. Located in the lobby of the famous Drake hotel and just beside the water tower. Load up on your coffee hit before attacking the shops.

This place could be great, but it consistently falls short. Every couple of months, after enough time has passed since my last visit, I get lured back by the funky midcentury-mod decor, the great photos on the wall, and the high-quality coffee. Then I sit down for a few minutes, and I remember why I dont come here all the time. The place is dingy all around the edges, with wobbly tables, spills left uncleaned for a bit too long, a few flies hovering near the overfull trash cans, etc.It breaks my heart, because the concept is so cool and the place is right in my neighborhood. If they could combine the look and taste of this place with the simple attention to detail found in every friggin Starbucks, theyd have a real winner.

Very good coffee, but way too pricy if you take a table!

I enjoy very much this place for light lunches and for the Afogatto with vanilla ice cream.
