Bad and low quality products. I really dont understand why they keep selling such as a bad products. This place is not as cheap as they claim. Can products are not that affordable, Id compare the price to Jewel. The meats are not good. I bought chicken breast and when I opened it at home it smelled bad. I brought it to the staffs attention and they said it is supposed to be eaten the same day? The fruits and vegetables will go bad within a day, but most of them are already bad in the shelves. This place is ok to buy something small, but I would NOT trust their meats and vegetables at all. See the pics below for reference.

Hours posted dont reflect the actual hours this business is open. Unprofessional.I was about to come here to spend money and there were four other people who also walked away frustrated because this place was closed before the actual time they had posted as there open hours.If youre not going to be open, its not that difficult to post the time you intend to close. I wasted a trip coming here and if Id known this was going to be the case Id have picked up ingredients earlier elsewhere. Extremely unprofessional and very frustrating.There are plenty of other places selling the things I need which actually open and close according to their posted hours.

This store is great! It used to be a little sketchy looking, but they have done a lot of redesigning inside. They also have a lot of unique items which can be difficult to find in regular grocery stores. I recently tried some of the food at the cafe and it was delicious! I especially enjoyed the caramel cake...YUM! I like to come here to get good deals on produce. They also have a large selection of Suavitel laundry softener which is difficult to find around Uptown. This is maybe a little random, but they still had stock of rubbing alcohol and sanitizer when most other places had long sold out of cleaning supplies in the middle of the pandemic. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are looking for some hard to find items or any ethnic foods.

Pretty nice store with a surprisingly big selection of foods and fresh groceries. Staff are always friendly and the store is mostly kept clean. Prices arent always cheaper than Jewel or Aldi but the hours and location make up for that.

The biggest perk of the apartment building is that this store is located right downstairs! It typically is open 24 hours, although their hours have shortened due to the ongoing pandemic. While I haven’t tried any of their meat, I do purchase their vegetables, cheese, bread, and assorted snacks on a weekly basis out of sheer convenience and have never had an issue. The staff here is always welcoming and friendly, and are able to handle some of the rude customers that come here late at night with ease. The only downside is that some of their goods are actually overpriced. Their cereal selection is extremely limited and expensive. Otherwise, this is a great place to shop. They even keep toilet paper well stocked!

I love this store, from the fresh products to the pre-made food. They even sell frankincense for a very low price. The staff is very nice. Literally one of my favorite stores in Chicago.

The manager is very nice and helping customer professionally, but one of the employee in the butcher department and the other employee running there and here on the floor working on the shelf both of them are unprofessional, rude and desrespectful. I think they need more training before serving customers.

I love Shop & Save! Its not full grocery store, but they have a surprisingly good selection and lots of ethnic foods. Produce is very reasonably priced, and usually good quality. Staff are friendly as well.

Nice neighborhood store. They have everything and many foreign foods. The store is small and cramped. They have a restaurant inside that sells sandwiches and mexican food.

The store manager is very understanding and an amazing person. Hard worker. I really enjoy shopping there

Go to for affordable groceries and press made meals. They marinate and assemble meat dinners along with salads of all sorts and sandwiches. Have foods and ingredients specific to Latin America and Africa available

The owner is the rudest, and most unaccommodating person. Plus this place is not open 24 hours, as it states. It is window service only, and good luck getting any service. This place is trash.

They carry halal meat and prices are reasonable. Overall, it’s a great store to shop at.

I give the store 1 star,due to the embarrassment that they have cause me,I use to go there all the time,the cashier watch you as if youre a criminal,and the Hispanic women that cook got offended when I ask if something was wrong she was looking out the side of her eyes.they probably dont have food certificate or citizenship,the Philly cheesesteak is salty, and the tacos nachos are greasy,THE LINES WHERE YOU PAY FOR YOUR GROCERY AT ARE EXTREMELY LONGGGG,i ask the cashier if I could sit and eat then pay, the cashier said yes its ok ..she said np problem, due to the lines being long and I was on a limited work lunchbreak, a month later the place where I was working at a nearby place next door to them.the owner of the store came to my job I didnt know until the administrator call me in her office said she wanted me in her office I went she said uptown shop&save show her the recording of me eating there and leaving said the Hispanic cook in the kitchen said I come in there with a bad attitude and that I always come there steal things and throw paper wrapper on the floor and leave, I was highly upset hurt, I havent never experience nothing like this in life all the owner had to do was pull me to the side and talk to me and I wouldve explain to him that his worker said its ok for me to sit in the eating area when Im done bring the wrapper to pay..overall the store has good snaks/chips

I like this place alot! Most people in the Uptown neighborhood do some if their shopping here. It has a tiny restaurant here too!

The owner of this store is the rudest person and the staff are never willing to help you. Avoid this place they just hung up the phone on me.
