So lucky to have this neighborhood spot — and glad that they made it through the toughest times of the pandemic. You don’t always see spots that have both good food AND good coffee, but Dollop Diner does! I always get the chicken and waffles with maple butter, but I’ve heard the burgers are also good if you go when they have them.

Enjoyed our Brunch very much! We ate in the outside area in the back. The actual inside of the restaurant is very small even with front and back inside eating areas. Our server Julia was very attentive and made us feel comfortable. The food was very tasty and flavorful and tasted very fresh. We also had drinks. I had a Bloody Maria, it was a bit lacking in flavor. I definitely has to add hot sauce, black pepper and salt. Mimosa pretty basic. All in all we will probably be back. Biscuits and gravy very enjoyable!

My wife and I went for a walk this morning and popped in on a whim for some breakfast. We were not disappointed in the least. Good prices, great food, friendly staff, and a nice patio area in the back. I had the biscuits and porcini gravy, and it went to possibly too quickly. The homemade biscuit was flaky and the eggs on top were cooked to perfection. Awesome. I will be back for sure.

Pretty busy place, small bar and a few tables in the front and patio in the back. Little short staffed so expect a few minutes of wait but not horrible. The cake doughnut is quite good but a tad oily but is made up for by being fluffy, probably the fluffiest cake style doughnut Ive ever had.

My experience here was okay. No one came back to ask about refills for my tea, so I left thirsty. I ordered the macaroni and cheese and it definitely wasnt my favorite. The food and service were both okay but not outstanding. The people I was with seemed to enjoy their food a bit more. They got breakfast food, so perhaps is better to order breakfast here.

A friend took me to Dollop Diner. I had the burger with mushrooms. I loved it. Ive been into mushrooms lately (how they are raised and their health benefits), so I encourage everyone to try it. Mushrooms impart an added flavor that complements the patty. I wish I took a photograph of my meal to share here, maybe next time I get to return there.

Super fun spot for brunch situated in the heart of Andersonville. Their chicken and waffles are superb. Paired with a fresh cold brew, its a perfect 10/10 for brunch.The patio was well spaced out for social distancing and the wait staff made every precaution to keep us safe. Probably my most positive post-CV19 dining experience so far. Well be coming back soon!

Love it. The Food Is exquisite. It’s a simple diner with huge storefront windows and Neo- Art Deco. The staff are friendly. They have a patio. Excellent music. Diverse vibe. Fresh squeezed orange juice and home made donuts.

Cute and cozy with old-school diner vibes, super friendly staff and a wonderfully extensive breakfast and lunch menu. The coffee is outstanding and they have plenty of vegetarian options. I’m going to make this a regular spot for brunch.

Amazing place for brunch! We had incredible service, great coffee, and delicious food. Highly recommend the chicken and waffles, which are served with their homemade maple butter. They also brought homemade strawberry preserves with the eggs and toast that we ordered!

We went for a Sunday dinner for Restaurant Week because we have been here for breakfast (always good) but not dinner.Food was good! Actually better than we expected! They were out of the biscuits and the food didn’t arrived at the same time (said that the potatoes were taking longer than usual) but once it arrived, it was all very tasty! I can understand an ‘off-timing’ here and there.

Always enjoy the overnight oatmeal.The potatoes were quite tasty, as always. Currently, only outside dining is available, and our temperature was taken at the back gate before entry. Our server, Julia was delightful.

I got the chicken biscuit with an over easy egg (and added cholula). It was amazing. The chicken was crispy, the biscuit was flaky and the whole thing was buttery. I would highly recommend the chicken biscuit sandwich!

Change the oil once in a while. The potatoes taste good sometimes, rancid most times. CHANGE THE OIL. Also, the farro bowl is a salad not a bowl and terrible. Raw kale doesn’t taste good. Disappointed because this place used to be good!

I could not decide what to order when I went here for brunch! I figured the best option was to get two totally affordable yet delicious options: the avocado toast with an egg and the Mac and cheese. Both were phenomenal! I also had a bite of the biscuits with porcini gravy, which was also so amazing! I will be back to try more dishes... and probably more Mac and cheese!

I really wanted to love this place. The diner is adorable, great ambiance. I can imagine it gets packed on the weekend. We went on a weekday so it wasnt busy.Coffee was underwhelming which was suprising because it looks like the are set up really well in that area. I also ordered a margarita, which was disappointing as well.The prices on the food menu are reasonable. I had a breakfast sandwich, boyfriend had chilaquiles and we ordered the fried cheese curds. My sandwich was good but you could tell the oil they are frying in needed to be changed (see photos). Our waitress did take the cheese curds off the bill because we didnt like them so great customer service there!

This is a nice, casual neighborhood place with tables and a counter. The menu offers many appealing dishes including breakfast anytime. I could see myself eating here a few times a month if I lived nearby. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed by the chicken and waffles (for one thing, I expected more fruit). It was okay, but Ill order something else next time.

Ordered the chicken and waffles. First time ordering from here. Delivery took way too long!!! My food arrived cold and soggy. What sense does it make to put hot chicken on top of cold fruit all that did was make the waffle and chicken soggy!!! Soooo disappointed!

The food was great. Loved the waffle and the Mac and cheese was interesting. Visiting the area and came here about five times in a week. Tonight the Mac and cheese changed to traditional yellow cheese instead of white. I have also had the chicken and biscuit which is nice. Friends loved the hamburger and Asian sloppy joe. Manhattan is good as is Negroni.The back patio area is nice, but concerned in the winter when you will lose this space that they will not be able to serve as many people.Had a great chat with the chef. It is good that servers are bringing food out now. It was hard to get through door with a tray of food.

Dollop has a great neighborhood diner vibe, friendly and comfortable. Yet this isnt youre run-of-the-mill diner; the food here is top notch. Especially the buttermilk fried chicken biscuit: indulgent and crave-worthy. And with breakfast all day, you can get your fix whenever you come in. The chai latte is also one of the best Ive had. I just wish it was bigger! Goes away too fast.

Good coffee. I got the avocado toast and it seemed sort of sweet - that seems odd to me but taste is subjective I guess. The coffee is great tho.

I love Dollop Diner! This is a regular haunt for me. It has a retro diner vibe without the greasy tables. The food is amazing, especially their chicken and biscuit sandwich.

Delicious hamburgers!! Super loved the sweet potato fries!!! So. Much. Yum.

You HAVE to try these biscuits and homemade preserves. Seriously one of the best things Ive ever eaten.

Just tried their new evening burger menu and absolutely loved it! We had the Kimchi burger and the Dagwood and both were awesome. I expected it to be good but this is now a favorite burger spot. The Kimchi burger is just perfect and reminds me of IN-N-OUT but with a more adventurous style/flavor. Pair that with the chile mayo and you are eating a tasty, tasty burger. Sweet potato fries with spicy ketchup is the bomb too. Rock on Dollop Diner!

Wonderful diner with WiFi and breakfast all day. Loved the house made granola with yogurt and fruit as well as the Chicken Biscuit. Oh and in the name of Twin Peaks, they serve a damn fine cup of coffee

Absolutely love this place. Their service is spectacular and they have delicious espresso/coffee drinks and food.

Breakfast sandwich with sausage is next level! Dont sleep on the chilaquiles, and if youre looking for thinner pancakes (like me) the this place is the joint.

I don’t know how they did it but every single item I ordered is sour-tasting. The iced coffee to waffle to home fries... the chicken is so undercooked it’s slimy and practically pink. Gross.

Dont worry if its busy, it is worth the wait. Menu is like a place in San Francisco I loved.

Great place for breakfast

Has a nice outdoor space in the back for larger group gathering. Coffee is always good whether cold or hot. Their omlettes are deliscious and the home fries, which I thought looked too crispy, were amazing! Crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. Have not tried, but I hear their over night oats are amazing.A definite must try!

Super disappointed. We’ve been here once already and we’re expecting much more. I’ll never go back. Rude/slow waitstaff for an empty restaurant at 12:30 on a Saturday. Weak food and flat mimosas for a high price. Bad service “dear”.

I ordered the Asian Sloppy Joe with potato salad - it was so delicious! Ive also ordered their cheese curds, matcha lattes, Mexican mocha latte, breakfast sandwiched, etc., and Ive never been disappointed! Definitely try this place if youre in the area! Pleasantly surprised with this place. Their prices are reasonable and their drinks are strong. The 2x2x2 was delicious as was the margarita. The only complaint that I have is with the service. I felt like the waitress was overwhelmed and never really stopped by the check on us. She just kind of breezed by quickly and ignored most of the tables in the back (including us).

Regular brunch spot with good iced Coffee and omelets. Last time they were a little short staffed but with some leading /good communication of the server we got in and out in a timely manner. Every other time the service has been great, but sometimes places are just busy or short handed or has new people and Im patient with that because Im in the industry. Great food and lovely patio.

Fun and fasted pace diner with great options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. I had the Grain Bowl and really liked it. Their home fries are so good, super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Staff is super friendly.

We are out of town visitors who had multiple referrals to have breakfast here. We had breakfast today and overall, our party of 6 felt the food was good. If the service was only below average we would have still rated this as a positive experience. Unfortunately the service was so poor we feel compelled to share this. The waitress didnt even check on us, refill our bottomless coffee or water. When I asked her to bus our table she took all dishes but mine. Our friends from England ordered the same meal at the same time from the same waitress as another couple at an adjacent table. The other couple received their food, ate, paid their bill and left before our friends were served. The waitress said the kitchen was busy, then unapologetically delivered cold food. Clearly, not the kitchens fault. Even good food doesnt compensate for this poor level of service.

Nice breezy patio in back. Service was a bit slow and some menu items were discontinued on their new menu. Prices were very reasonable. They serve breakfast all day as well as lunch and dinner menus at that time. A friendly laid back atmosphere. I would go back. Nice neighborhood feel.

Delicious! This place always hits the spot, the food never disappoints. However, because its a diner, spaces are kind of tight, so be mindful of that. Not really child friendly from that stand point, but, still a great place to grab a bite.

I am a big fan of Dollop! Its a quick walk from my apt and my go to for a quick breakfast or brunch. The staff is so nice and the menu has a wide variety of delicious foods! Im pretty obsessed with the French toast and biscuits and gravy. Its a great spot to take guests to for a yummy breakfast! One day Ill try the dinner!

Pancakes texture and taste was rubbery, biscuits were hard and the atmosphere was nice but tight. The customer service was good. I might try this place one more time just because today might have been an off day for them.

Its a fun place.

I came here for brunch and found a solid selection of classic fare. The atmosphere was low-key and the service was honest and speedy. Its a great spot to start a busy day without filling up too much or getting too little. If you just see the front it looks small, but theres actually a ton of tables in the back and a decent sized patio thats dog friendly. It fills a special niche in the Andersonville brunch scene.

Absolutely delicious! I got the biscuit with porcini gravy and eggs, and it was fantastic. The waitress was pleasant, and they have lovely outdoor seating and were following every precaution to keep everyone safe from covid, including temp checks, masks, hand sanitizer, limit one person in the bathroom at a time, etc. Would definitely go again

I had read other reviews that didnt paint Dollop in a very inviting light but I have to say after my first visit I have to disagree. The coffee was very good and came right away. I ordered the 2 eggs with home fries and toast with the maple butter and preserves. I thought it was all very good. Diner fare but not greasy! The home fries were especially good as was that maple butter. Cute restaurant. Ill try to sit out back next time!

Very Rude staff

Prices are a little high for diner food, but its worth it once your meal arrives. Fresh and flavorful and delicious. It also has a warm community atmosphere and super friendly staff. Will definitely be making this place a regular stop.

Great food, I miss good old American Diner fare. Bright clean space with tasteful decor mixing mid century with current. Good Bloody Marys. Onion rings and burger were delicious. Staff is very friendly and professional. Unlike most new places-I will be coming back.

Great food, cool space and nice folks. Really happy to see Dollop expanding their offerings. Only thing missing their amazing bagels from their coffee shops. But that brioche bun breakfast sandwich is perfection.

Great place with amazing service. The staff is on point and attentive, never bothersome. The Food is also very delicious.Only downside is that its small and tight--not a lot of space between tables-- which causes it to be noisy. But if you dont mind those things, its definitely worth a visit.

A hidden gem in a Big City! Truly enjoyed the shaded back patio area. Food and drinks were great for a brunch with my dearest friend. Loved it there!

The service was great. The staff were attentive and helpful. The portions were fairly small but the food is good. The fried chicken is good. I had a sloppy joe which was interesting.

Delicious comfort food at a really affordable price. Loved taking friends here for dinner as well.Really hope they bring back dinner at some point. I’m sure it was hard to get people to come in, but their back space is so nice they could totally do small concert nights or open mics or movies on the patio and bring in a big crowd. There’s really no place in andersonville that does that.

Dollop Diner was charming little place for my friends and I to catch up. The waitstaff and our waiter were all very friendly and attentive. This was my 1st time here and I definitely plan and returning to try some of the other options. Definitely would recommend as a great, somewhat elevated diner option.
