Great Experience at ACE. I originally went to Ace to look at their used woods and driver. Dave was a tremendous help and very insightful with drivers and the different shafts. So much so, that I bought a new Taylor Sim 2 Max driver. I can’t wait to going to the driving range this weekend.Also, I’ve been to golf galaxy and PGA Pro Shop. I got better help with Dave than those places. I would highly recommend buying your new clubs at ACE

Simply phenomenal service. Worth every cent to speak with a true expert and craftsman! They really look out for their customers and help not only provide clubs and service, but understand your budget and seek to get the best deals instead of selling replacements. They are currently reaching out to Titlist on my behalf to investigate a possible manufacturing defect, hard to imagine that level of service at a big box store.

Picked up a new set of clubs here today. I’m a pretty novice golfer and the owner was super helpful and patient answering all my questions and educating me on what to look for in different clubs. I checked online after purchasing out of curiosity and the price I got was less expensive than I could find for the same set online. Would have been worth paying more for the expert guidance, but was an extra bonus to feel like I got a good deal in addition to finding the best clubs for me.

Service is so so but the shop is great and surprisingly well stocked.Would encourage you to check it out if you want to avoid the big chains and amazon.

If your looking for a golf shop in Chicago, look no further. Dave who runs the shop and is very knowledgeable and makes the entire fitting process very comfortable. There is a hitting area and Dave has the tech to track all the metrics including club speed and spin ratio etc. Whether you need new clubs or your clubs re-gripped or simply a new golf bag this should be where you go. Check this place out!

A great family owned and run independent golf shop. They have a small putting green and a net setup to try out new clubs with real golf balls. Prices are fair and the customer service is excellent.

Really helpful people working here and solid selection. If you want to go somewhere and have someone who actually loves golf and wants to help people assist you, go here. If you want lazy stuck up people to ignore you, go to a big box store.

This is a great golf pro shop. I have gotten my clubs regripped here twice and they do an excellent job. I also bought a new putter and they saw that it was on sale from the manufacturer. Awesome! Great service and I will definitely consider them for my next set of clubs.

Had a really great experience here. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. Allowed me to hit a few irons I was interested in... ended up doing a fitting on the fly with good conversation about the different heads and shafts. Super knowledgeable. Bought a new set of irons at the end of it! Overall a really fun day! Night and day compared to the full fitting I did at PGA Tour Superstore last month where I was not treated great

Super friendly and knowledgeable owner. Quick stop for some golf balls and see what they had for sale...be aware they do not stock everything like a superstore. Will bring my clubs for regripping in off-season as they have many grip options and fair prices.

I had three wedges that needed to be shortened and re-gripped. I also had an adjustable driver tip which I needed installed on a new shaft. The shop owner was meticulous. He us obviously an expert in his craft. I looking forward to getting my clubs back and trying them out.

Great service and great price. I got my irons lengthened 1” and new grips. Great selection to choose from, clubs were ready for pick up in 5 days. Played a round and they felt great. Highly recommend for golf needs while living in Chicago.

Ace Pro attached a new shaft to my 3-wood head. They had to call the manufacturer of the shaft for specific product details, but still charged me a super low fee. This is a really nice family owned place and I would highly recommend it to my friends and family.

Family owned business. Been going to the shop since the late 80s. Customer service is excellent and the family is very friendly. Quite a variety of clubs and all your golf needs. With the big box chains closing up, nice to see an independent still in business.

Dave is great! I needed several clubs worked on from replacing shafts to shortening my driver. Dave offered me helpful advise and his work is exceptional. Hes very meticulous and isnt afraid to spend time to get the job done right. Prices are fair as well! I will come to Ace for any of my golf needs from here on out. Highly recommend this place!

Went into the shop to get a new set of irons and the cheapest option started at 800 bucks. The guy said yeah we are pretty much out of everything else. Unless you want to spend a decent coin dont go here. Invest in your website to bring in traffic that shows updated inventory so people don’t waste their time making a trip.

I called David because I needed a new set of clubs on a tight timeline. He made the fitting process relaxed and enjoyable. He really took his time to make sure that I would be happy with the final product. I will definitely be back.

And his mother (Connie, I think) even strolled my baby around the shop while I tested out a few clubs! Wonderful experience. This shop is like walking into the warehouse where they sent the arc of the covenant at the end of indiana jones. Unbelievable selection of used clubs and all things golf. Have a large selection of new clubs as well. I frequent this store often to purchase used clubs (like a blade putter or a 5-wood) that im considering adding to the bag but I want to see how I sing that type of club before i spend $200+ on a new brand name club.
