Worst place to take your scooter. They’ll charge you an arm and a leg to fix your moped. I’m serious. They’ll charge you motorcycle prices. Don’t bring your scooter here they’ll work on it, ruin it and then tell you they don’t even work on Honda’s. They wasted 2 months of my time. I was able to ride my scooter twice after getting it back the first time then it completely died on me only to find out it’s another $400 to repair it after paying $540 to repair it the first time. They’ll tell you they’re going to call you with a diagnosis and never call back. You have to be on them constantly about your bike or it will never get done. All in all, awful place to bring your bike to. Will not be coming back ever again

Back in high school wed play hockey and we get 10 or 12 guys to rent those scooters and just tear up the streets back in the day and it was fun it was fun these guys rent them and sell them pretty cool

Worst buying experience ever. Worst customer service ever. Worst after sale service ever. I will never do business with this place ever again. I purchased a very expensive motorized bicycle, when I first bought it they tried to charge me title and licensing fees. Even though it did not have a title or need a license, and then it took them a month to sort it out?! The machine never ran properly, in fact it was late being delivered because they couldnt get it to run right and had to replace the carburetor before they dropped it off. Then it was back in their shop two times over the summer and finally out of sheer frustration I just put it away. When I brought it out this spring it still had the same drivability problems, so I brought it in and it has been sitting there for more than 3 weeks now waiting on parts. Nobody seems to know when exactly, what exactly, or who exactly, ordered the parts or when theyre going to actually show up. Like I said worst service Ive ever received anywhere.

How on earth is their average a 4.4? They have to be padding reviews posted by employees and friends. Every time I walk in there, theyre fighting with someone. They fight with you over parts that they owe you as part of the new purchase deal. All they sell are GY6 scooters. Buy one online for 1/2 their price delivered to your door and be done with it. Theyre not going to stand behind their product anyway. BTW these things are ridiculously simple to work on, amazon sells almost every part.And the parts are ridiculously Chinese and cheap. Buy them online. You need walk away for entering this place.

Seems legit. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Had a good selection of affordable bikes at good prices. Wouldnt make a trip out of it but if in the area definitely stop by, and considering its hard to find a good deal on a used bike in the city, why not spend a couple extra hundred dollars and get a new bike. And save yourself a trip to the dmv/sos too.

Awesome place.I told them it was my first scooter. Not only did Jeff help me pick out the machine perfect for me, he then led me into the back and Eric taught me how to ride it, and made sure I had everything down pat. Everyone here is very personable, and happy to get you on two wheels.I highly recommend this place and will be doing business with them for a good long while.

If you have problems with passing the test for your motorcycle driver license you have to take class with Eric. He is amazing teacher. You will learn how to ride a motorcycle, you will have fun during the class, and you become very confident with motorcycle after the class. You will get huge support during road test from him. I am recommend City Scooters to everyone!!!!!!

Eric is a very enthusiastic and patient instructor. Much easier to take the M class test on a scooter vs a motorcycle. This is probably the best option for getting a license during these times.

Took my scooter for repairs had to return it twice paid almost 600 dollars scooter is currently not running at all now called back and was refused service and given a battery that was not mines in place of a brand new one ruin my scooter and stole my money

Rented from City Scooter to take my M-Class test. My experience was FANTASTIC! The staff was friendly and attentive. Eric was quite adept and thorough when teaching the all the maneuvers needed to ensure a smooth experience taking your M-Class licence test. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

The technicians and staff are fantastic at what they do, friendly, and willing to answer your questions. Ive been taking my Puma Romeo 150 scooter here for two years and would highly recommend this business for all your cycle service needs.

I had a tune up done on my scooter around a couple weeks ago and scooter is running better than ever b/4. Eric and Josh were excellent and informative. Dont recall mechanics name, but kudos to you man. You did a fine job on my bike.

The guys where so friendly and welcoming. We came all the way from London to see Chicago and having looked for many places open after labour day was quite difficult. Though it was a bit of a hassle to find and it is out side the city centre, City Scooter saved our trip! Friendly owners and staff, it was a pleasure to meet them!!

I was trying to get carbs tuned on my xs360 and I called and asked if they could work on it my bike he said bring it by and well have Martin look at it. Well when I brought my bike the battery died and he saw that it was old and didnt want anything to do with it. My dad asked if we can at least charge the battery and he said we cant work on it. At this point we tried to insist that we could be on our way if we could just use the jumper box to charge the battery at which point the store clerk said he was ex military and proceeded to become agressice walking hostily towards my dad while raising his voice. Almost turned into a really bad encounter instead of a pleasant trip to a local mechanic. I had to tow my bike home instead of being shown common generosity. Also feel as if they were only trying to sell new scooters. Which just say we dont work on motorcycles. I was upfront about the condition it was in. Anyway what a tremendously awful encounter dont go there.

Just Bad Business!!!!This is my first review but not my last. Yay for me!The guy told me over the phone that they service Roketa scooters and I brought it all the way there to be flatly refused any kind of help. It has problems starting and thank God I was lucky enough to get it started to drive it back home. You have a repair shop and you pick and choose what you service or not? What kind of business is this?I can understand if they dont want to repair it but not to even look at whats causing the issue is another thing. I believe they should rethink their business model and look up the meaning of repeat customers. Hint: see below.Any customer that returns for more is known as a repeat customer, and it is often said that it is five to ten times cheaper to keep a customer than to get a new one.I will be taking my repeat business elsewhere.

Very knowledgeable staff and I was not there for too long. Prices werent too bad I got a used Keeway scooter which feels very solid and this thing goes. They also made sure I could ride the scooter which based on what their test scooter looked like a LOT of people think they know but just run into fences...no pun intended. Either way, I would recommend these folks to all you folks because its a nice folksy place ;) -Tudor

Took a Tomos scooter to City Scooters twice for repairs. First time went slow, but okay. Second time, they got the scooter in June, and Josh and I fought via phone over the MONTHS going by w/o parts, or...a CALL. Finally, in November, we hacked out a deal in which they kept the damaged scooter and paid us an amount to cover its cost.May work for some, but I find them horrible with staying contact, and generally sloppy in how they conduct business. Would never venture near the place for sales or service.
