This was the second time I stopped into this shop this week, and its just delightful. You cant beat the experience provided by the thoughtful staff, and the baby and kids gift selection is great with lots of local artisan made items.

I stop by looking gifts because live close by, but often I leave empty handed because there is nothing to choose from. Very limited options for newborns/ babies and they always push to buy books and older kids clothes. Why would I buy someone a gift that they would have to wait a year or two to use? The prices are on the higher end too, but the items are made in China and are nothing special. If you want to find gifts that are unique with eco-conscious options, I suggest Sprout on Division instead, which is also expensive but at least has some exciting things to chose from.

Red Balloon is the best childrens boutique around! I adore the unique selection of clothing for both girls and boys! I have 3 sons and love the brands and style of clothes they carry for boys. Also, their baby selection cannot be beat and I always pick up gifts for newborns here. My 3 year old loves stopping in to pick up a new little toy or bath bomb lol. We absolutely adore this store and their sweet and helpful staff!

Nice selection of kids stuff

Really cute store with a lot of nice clothing and toys. The staff are always really helpful and they do gift wrapping. I like that they usually have a good amount of Chicago styled things (clothing, books, etc.). They have a good amount of books, toys and clothes that are more unique than a department store. My 4-month old nephew loved the teething ice cream cone they suggested. I have gotten a few gifts from here for different occasions and they are always well received.

Such a cute store! I just happened to come across this store. Very cute clothes for toddlers. I was like “where is this in my size?” I found an adorable little mermaid purse for my niece. They gift wrapped it and shipped it to Austin right away for me. My niece was so excited waiting for it to come in the mail. She loves it!!!

Beautiful store with wonderful staff. Jennifer is one of a kind! Great customer service and selections. They also have great books and toys for kids. I really enjoyed my 1st visit here. I would definitely recommend it.

This adorable store is our first stop every time we come to Chicago! My daughter LOVES it! Clothing is super high end but I’m able to get things that they’ve put on sale. So fun!

This is one of the best childrens clothing store in the city! It is not only posh and adorable, but it offers such a variety for both male and females. It also has a great selection of books and toys. They will create beautiful gift baskets and do so with such thought and care. I definitely would recommend it to anyone with children or anyone who needs a baby gift.

The place itself was very cute! But not very many newborn clothes (all newborn onsies were all white and grey) theres not very many boys clothes but there sure is a whole lot of girl clothes. Pretty pricey too!

The selection at Red Balloon might be a little pricey (beautiful clothes!) but the super friendly staff will always help you find something fun/pretty thats also affordable.

Very good customer service. I couldnt find what I was looking for anywhere else. I called they said they had it so i went here and they did. It was a little pricey but it worth it.

The staff is very very friendly and helpful, but the prices in this store are outrageous -- which makes it difficult to support small, local businesses. We spotted baby/toddler pants for $40 and a shirt for $60.
