Worst service experience in years!First, I called to make an apt for 30k service, and the receptionist set me up for a Friday at 3:20, which makes no sense since 30k service is 4 hrs (which I didnt know until later) and service dept closes at 5pm. Later, a service tech calls and tells me they cant do the service but theyll do as much as they can. Oil change and tire rotation.FFwd to day of apt, I show up and drop off my car. They tell me what time to return 530-ish. I come back to pick up the truck and theres a note from the technician we could not rotate tires due to low tire tread. No one called, no one was there to talk to, service shop is closed. I go out to my car and look at the tire they indicated- its literally BALD. I have an hour and a half drive back up hwy 32, and this is DANGEROUS considering the tire condition.I scramble and THANK GOODNESS Pep Boys was still open. I explained the situation, and even though they would have to stay open late, they agreed to put on new tires.Im so grateful for a SERVICE CENTER that was willing to partner with me and help me in a bad situation. All Toyota did was treat me like a number in line.I doubt I will return to the Chico Toyota Service Center. They honestly DONT CARE!
The service is good but they could use a customer-facing person to check people in and out so the service people can do what they do best rather than try to do double duty.
We had our 2019 subaru repaired there after a collision. The service was timely and the staff was very courteous. The manager of the service department went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you

I felt unsafe inside waiting for car service as many workers either had no mask or only wore on their chin. As immune compromised snd over 60 and COVID taking off in Chico I was amazed at all the maskless close talkers inside the sales room.If my company did not require me to use them for first 5 services with new truck, I would go elsewhere.It is not with dying to get an oil change.

Dodge service dept representative quoted extremely outrageous price for replacing 2 tires. After hearing quote, we had another Chico vendor replace tires... getting 4 tires replaced for approximately same price quoted at Chuck Patterson to replace 2.
