We love our sleep number bed. We just bought a new, upgraded one. The staff at the store was really helpful and these are the best beds ever, especially if you have two people who sleep in different ways, like one on their side and the other on their back. Or if you have back trouble, which I do.
Not just beds--but great pillows, too! We like the AirFit pillow line and dropped by the Chico store to look at buying another after accidentally leaving one during a visit with family in Idaho. Mary was a true professional -- no pressure, just helpfulness and smiles to help me purchase the exact replacement pillow we wanted, and at a great price. A wonderful product and superlative service from Mary. Well be back when its time to shop for a mattress to go with the pillows ;-)
We lost our home in the Carr Fire in July 2018. Since then it has been a long process of rebuilding our home and replacing our personal property. My husband and I decided that one thing we desperately needed was a good bed. After doing our research we had decided to look at the Sleep Number beds. We were in Chico and stopped by the Chico Store. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. Gray was excellent and really knew is stuff. He explained how the bed worked, he did the initial test for what works best for each of us and we then went from there. We purchased the i10 and cannot wait for the delivery and our first night of restful sleep. There was no pressure, he just gave us the information about the product and was very personable. We both felt when we left that we had made a new friend.
Mary helped me pick the best bed for my needs. I didnt feel overly pressured and all of my questions were answered! Would reccomend!

The companies response to my review was less than adequate. An apology and a link to your contact us page. News flash, I tried getting assistance through your contact us methods. I was put on hold for over an hour, the call was then dropped and when I called back I was put on hold again. Did you not read the review I posted? I was put on hold, then when I got a live person they said I needed to speak with the comfort department which requires another long hold time. Its absurd how willing you are to waste your customers time by putting them on hold for hours. Before the sale there were live representatives everywhere ready to answer my questions, after the sale and after you get the thousands of dollars for the bed, these live representatives seem to disappear. And your response is to send me back to the contact us page where it all began. Again, thank you for absoluty nothing as I have still been unsuccessful in reaching anyone that can help me with the problem Im having. .*original review starts here *Your customer service after the sale is the worst. I was put on hold for over an hour and then my call was dropped. I contacted customer service through the online chat and was told I needed to call customer service so I could be put on hold again. Funny how when your purchasing the mattress the phone calls are answered right away but after the purchase and you have your money, suddenly my call is not as important. I do not recommend!!!
When we went to purchase the bed I have no complaints we had the bed one week then the campfire happened and we lost everything as did others so we call the place we owed because we were making payments on the bed and told them what happened and they want every penny for the bed no matter what no take alittle off the top to make it easier to pay nothing they want every penny. And when we called and talked to them they were VERY RUDE!!!!!!!!!!! Do not recommend this place.
My husband and I went into the store late one evening and Rachael was absolutely amazing! She answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable about the different types of beds. Best of all she was honest, if we werent sure if we really needed features (foot warmer, ability to cool or warm each side of the bed) she didnt recommend us buy it just so we would spend more money. She actually asked us questions and helped us determine if we actually needed or wanted the features. When we went into the store, we were just looking at our options, we didnt really intend on buying anything that night. We ended up buying our bed that night. Thank you Rachael, you are amazing
They have great people working at the sleep number store in Chico. Full of information about the sleep number beds. Answered my questions. Followed up with an email and the best deal I could get. It was a pleasure working with Mary one of the sleep expert there. I ended up buying two beds. I could not be happier. Thanks Mary and the staff at the store in Chico.
Very helpful teaching us about the sleep number beds and the various options. The little demo was real fun. So far my lower back is feeling much better. The delivery and set up team worked real hard to get the bed set up and were very mindful of our requests. Good job.
WOW, we love the Bed and what it can do. Cant wait to get it even thou it is a LOT of Money. I cant sleep flat and have slept in a bed for MANY Many Years and I cant wait to sleep in a Bed Again with the Mrs... Mary P (the sales lady) was awesome and knew her product well.

The staff is knowledgeable responsive and competent. The store manager assisted me with getting a install issue resolved, and got the issue fixed when tech support were not responsive. When we lost our bed with our house in the Camp Fire, the store manager got my credit line increased to get a replacement bed.
I went to the Sleep Number store in Chico to get a sleep number bed. Mary the saleswoman was well informed and very kind. I had the most wonderful experience and Im looking forward to my bed being delivered.

Ive had a sleep number bed for the past 15 years and am well satisfied with the product. It was time to upgrade to the new split/mechanized bed, so I went shopping. I knew what I wanted and expressed this to the salesperson, who continually tried to upsell me. The experience was reminiscent of buying a new car and getting hammered with all the accessories/add-ons. I made an offer on the package and was danced around in the store with the sales staff and manager. I finally left and was called by the store manager the next morning, stating hed talked with his area supervisor and they could meet my offer. Surprise, surprise! Then they informed me part of the package I was expected to pickup from the store, part to be shipped to my home via UPS, and the remainder to be delivered by their people at a to be determined date/time. I was to be called with a delivery dateI called the store to see when the UPS delivery was to be, since I didnt want their delivery before UPS. The Sleep Number manager was to call me back. Never happened.This is a shotgun approach to a service that, in my opinion, could have been easily consolidated to having everything delivered, one stop, by their delivery service and not chase me around personally picking up product, waiting for UPS and then coordinating a delivery date with a third party. Im disgusted with the lack of service to the customer. This is not a cheap item and certainly could have been handled more professionally.If it werent for the product, I would have left the sale and advised my friends of same. Too bad Sleep Number, get your ACT together. Ill be looking for a competitive product for any future purchases.

Mary was amazing! We knew we wanted a split king but we had no idea about much else. She explained how the sleep number beds stand out from other brands then got us our sleep numbers. From their, we tested multiple beds; Mary did a great job explaining the differance between the beds and what the features were. We couldnt decide between the i10 or i7 so she let us take control and test them for ourselves while she got us our quotes. We decided on the i10 in the end. Mary was great though the whole process. She helped us choose a pillow and sheets while discussing the features between pillows. The 90 day guarentee on matresses and 30 day on pillows is pretty hard to pass up. She even made it so our bed will be delievered in 6 days! I definitly recommend her and Sleep Number!

Bought a bed on sale thinking it was a single chamber. When I asked to change it from dual chambers, I was told they were sold out and to try it anyway. I was quite dissatisfied with the ridge in the middle and called Customer Service to return it for a refund. Customer Service took the time to check and found what I wanted in the first place. Had Mary or Chuck bothered, or instructed me to call Customer Service, I wouldve gotten the one I wanted on the first delivery.
