Oat milk latte was perfect! And the avocado toast was delicious. We loved the ambience and will definitely be back!

Today was my first visit to Day Camp Coffee. It was a cold, wet and rainy March day in Chico (3.10.21). A good friend of mine suggested we check it out and Im glad we did. The ambiance was really nice. The decor and interior aesthetics were very clean and contemporary. They offer a nice selection of drip coffee a variety of teas and a variety of other beverages. The young man behind the counter was cool and courteous. The drip coffee I purchased was delightful. We lounged on the very cool and comfortable leather couch upstairs. I will be back soon.

I adore daycamp. The coffee is delightful and the people behind the counter are kind and nice. Please go there to have your spirits lifted and a smile appear on your face. Sit upstairs if possible because its fun up there. Downstairs is also great.

Most lovely vanilla chai latte and a wide range of milk options. Lacking some food, but really great study spots. Also tshirts are for sale. Mugs are beautiful.

My latte was amazing. My fiance was not a fan of their drip. Comfortable atmosphere. Perfect place to spend a lazy Saturday morning or a study session.

Was turned away for not wearing a mask even though I’m vaccinated, and following cdc guidelines! Was social distancing, and like to have coffee here often! I will NOT be coming back! Rude employees being mask nazis.

One of the Best Coffee shops in Chico, and we have alot! I have tried every one i have heard of in town now, with Daycamp being the last on the list for now.Lets start with the brass tax, the coffee and pastries are phenomenal! I got their Guatemalan blend drip with a savory bun. Coffee notes are complex and my savory pastry is to die for. Atmosphere is very modern with everything just right, from the long spoons that are never too short even for my 16 ounce thermos to the expansive open room that really lets your mind wander.You will definitely find me here more often!

Friendly but slow service. Practically no food items, mediocre coffee, limited outdoor seating. There are a lot of coffee shops in town. I dont see a reason to visit this one again.

I’m friends with the owners so my review will be a bit biased... but friendships aside, Daycamp is awesome. Last time I was there the weather was nice enough to have the roll up door open, which added a whole new level to the pleasantly spacious and well designed interior. Now, friendship NOT aside, Kyle and Mark have always been known for their extreme passion for high quality coffee, and when you visit Daycamp, that passion is obvious. If you already appreciate great coffee, or you’d like to see what perfectly roasted and brewed coffee tastes like, then stop in and pay these guys a visit.

I have moved and was is town for one day. The main thing I was going to pick up, while in Chico, was about 4 bags of coffee. I probably would have purchased drinks too. Anyway, I walk up to the place in 100°+ weather and was refused service. It’s turned into a Covidiocracy! She didn’t say I’ll come to you and take your order, it was a NO. She wasn’t polite at all. Try turning your TV off and grow a backbone. You don’t even serve things inside! Rationale straight out of the window. Most the people outside were maskless (which is awesome, since this is a psychological war). People that push TV propaganda are low.

Cool new coffee place. Great ambiance with lots of tables, couches and seating. They roast their own beans and the dark roast I tried was excellent. My wife had a vanilla latte, also good. Just opened today and Ill be back for sure.

Brand new coffee shop with a modern but original feel. Their coffee is roasted on site and the owners are friendly and super passionate about making good coffee. If you havent been here, you must stop in and try their drinks!

Second time there and it’s been great both times. Real coffee, good teas and tasty pastries. Love the modern space and atmosphere. Staff is upbeat and personable and I’m definitely going back.

They really know espresso! Big menu, well prepared drinks, lots of hot and iced tea options, kids menu too. Great place to meet up with friends. Ideal for computer work and homework as well. Plenty of couches and sweet decor... I cant say enough good things about this place.

Blended coffee drinks taste stale. Employees also not real big into revealing who they are getting their beans from. Ill come back in 6 months to see how they evolve.

I loved the atmosphere day camp provides! They always let me bring in my Klean kanteen to use as a cup instead of the disposable ones! I would recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a great atmosphere and sustainability fans!

Daycamp is a true recollection of a back country day camp: Hot coffee, friendly people, epic atmosphere. The Baristas at Day camp are talented to say the least. They are excellent at making my favorite espresso drinks, a Flat White, Cortado, Macchiato or a shot. They even roast there own beans! Overall Id say that the quality of their beans are about a 8/10 and their espresso drink skills are about a 9/10. Looks like I found myself another great Chico coffee shop!
