Love ther sandwiches and Slurpees

I was shocked at how rude the lady at the counter was. Not sure her name, but she had brown hair. She was just blatantly aggressive in every way to myself and other customers. It was like she was mad at us for being in the store lol. I hope they get some better staff, because aside from her my experience has always been nice :/

I like going here for their sandwiches. Trust me, they have some of the best sandwiches in town. I know the lady that works there, she is really friendly and does a great job. I highly recommend this place

My favorite job Ive ever had

Came in today to purchase a sandwich, drinks and ice before going to the river to fish. I realized I needed money for the boat launch fee so I went back in and asked for cash back which they looked at me like an idiot and said the ATM is over there. I paid the ATM fee and pulled 20 dollars out. Walked up to the register and asked the blonde cashier for change. She laughed in my face as if I said something disgustingly rude and looked at the other guy working. Laughed again and opened the register. She said what change do you want and I said A ten a 5 and 5 ones. She Complained about what cash was in the register then gave me 4 5s and said youre welcome with the nastiest attitude and look as if disgusted with me. Ive came here for the past 4 years as my last stop before heading the river. They lost me as a customer today. Dont treat people like shit for giving you business?

Grungy gas station / food mart. It has a decent selection for such a small store, but terrible customer service. The cashiers always try and rush you. Ive been shoved out of the way without time to put my change back in my wallet. The owner/manager (2012 - 2014 for this review) seems to watch you like a hawk and sometimes follows you around. Being followed around when you are an adult is bothersome. Also the cashiers are extremely rude / dis-pleasant to speak to. I was accused of stealing because the cashier did not notice I put a lighter on the counter. When I said Did you put the lighter on the bill yet? the cashier said I was watching you with that lighter. I wondered when you were going to bring it up despite me saying Ill take this lighter too earlier on. It has a great location (being right next to the freeway on the way out of town / into town) but other than that, avoid this rat-hole.

Basically the only option for a store after you cross east avenue on the esplanade, so they’ve got that going for them.. cigarettes are decent prices, about the same as most stores in Chico, but their snacks and drinks are a bit more... and they don’t take ebt, which is fine for the most part but I don’t understand why they don’t accept it- I’m sure they lose out on some business because of that..

Great convenience store. Good selection and very nice people. I stop here almost every day going to or from work. Have never had a bad experience shopping here.
