I will say they can get the parts that I need. However, I buy a lot of parts from the Rental Guys for my mowing equipment. The staff is uninspired and lacks basic customer service skills. From the way they answer the phone to the attitude they display on location in Red Bluff and Chico...they act like they just do not care. I drove 45 miles to talk to a parts person and he was not in, and nobody else could or would help me. They were going to let me drive home without even taking down my information, until I insisted they at least take down my information. The next time I called, at 3:25 pm I was told I would have to wait until the next day to find out if he could get me the part. I call at 3:00 pm the following day and nobody had done anything with my order. Then it was the weekend, so a part they had in stock took five days to get. I have asked to receive a call the last five times when my part came in, in Red Bluff, I have never received a call. These guys really dont care if they provide good customer service.

Loading a piece of equipment on my trailer while everyone stood watching the ramps slide around. Nobody would spot me while backing on trailer. Saw one of them noticed my tire was low and points it out to other worker, then asks me how far Im going but never said to me hey might want to check your tire. Guys at the counter are polar opposite from the yard. They were all really helpful.

Was a great place when it was Gold N Green, but unfortunately it went down hill when it was sold to rental guys. They do not pay their employees well they do not come up to help their employees when there are problems with their business. They layed off a worker that has been there for over 12 years with a family, and gave him no reason. Seems they are basically wanting to push the Gold N Green workers out that have been so dedicated. To bring their own workers in. Very sad to see what this business has come too😔

This is the best rental yard in Chico by far. Friendly staff and great prices.

Rented a pickup in triple digit weather....did the walk around and was told everything works, after we took the pickup the AC did not work at all, my husband took the truck back and was told “you can roll the windows down”. I called and spoke to the manager and after I told him I expected to be compensated for the mileage or given s reduced rate he wanted to blow me off, after I asked what the owners name was and when he would be in the guy changed his tune and decided he would work something out with me. Unfortunately we had no other option but to use this pickup, but I will never do business with this place again! The electric side mirrors also did not work and this is s safety issue. You should not rent out equipment that is not in full working order and a customer should NEVER have to threaten to go to the owner to get good customer service!

The equipment worked great unfortunately the staff was not.I got no specific instructions on how to operate the machine and even though they saw I only used it for an hour an I returned it 30 min over the 3 hrs due to traveling to Orland they charged me for a 24hr rental. What a racket.!

Charged me double for bringing it back a few hours late. Also equipment caused lung injury to two people because we were given non legitimate information on the use of the machine. Last time I rented a wood chipper that didn’t work because the blades were dull. When I took it back I had to argue for a refund. THEY WILL BLAME YOU IF THEIR EQUIPMENT DOESNT WORK. Have fun with that situation if you decide to rent here.

I took my mower in and they diagnosed the wrong problem then charged me $700 to fix the wrong thing then wouldnt make it right. Just told me it needed to be replaced anyway!

Rental Guys is closed on Sunday! Would have been helpful to see that on their website before driving all the way out there.

Rented a trailer. The guy who was helping in the yard didnt put the stand up in the front. Said I was good to go. If I didnt check for my self there would have been damage. And he left my parts in the back of someones truck. Careless and unprofessional.

Unfortunately, equipment didn’t work- but got full refund.I rented a chipper from the Rental Guys in Chico. The service was very good and the folks in the yard explained how to work the machine very clearly and looked me in the eye to make sure I understood. When I got home the chipper ran for about 20 minutes before it jammed. The jam was such that a lot of disassembly was needed to make it work again. I did not have the correct socket to try. When I brought it back the next day I showed them the jam and I went in and payed. Don only charged me for 3 hours instead of a full day when I told him the situation.But a week later I was still rather upset about the cost in relation to the amount of chipping I actually got done. I called and asked to talk to Don Anderson (the person who handled my bill), I explained how much I got done and he immediately said he would give me a full refund. I said that I would be more than happy to pay for the trailer since it worked perfectly. He said it was part of the chipper rental and still gave me the full refund.I am very pleased with how Rental Guys conduct their business, for this rental and for others I have made. My family has rented numerous times from them without issue. In fact, one time they helped us by guiding us toward a bobcat when we had reserved a trencher. Huge deal, as it was the correct call. The bobcat saved us a lot of time.In conclusion: I would not recommend their small chipper (3’’ self-assist ELIET). It is a chipper/shredder and is an inferior design compared to a conventional chipper. Even though they rent it for less it is not worth it. Also, I would recommend working with Don. I thought the full refund was fair and I appreciate that very much.

Well they advertise that they are the most inexpensive but that is not true. I went in to the Gridley shop as I live in Gridley, CA and got a price on renting a container. Their price was the same as everywhere else except that they wanted $200.00 to deliver it about a mile down the road. I told the guy running the place that their competition delivered from Oroville for $85.00 which would be about 17 miles, he just said gotta pay for truck time. I guess with that attitude I will go back to their competion (also the people in Yuba City about the same distance delivered for less. Anyway I wont be using Two Guys Equipment Rental and Sales in the future.

Im not sure whos driving your Ford flatbed truck towing a trailer on Highway 99 right now headed back to Chico but you should tell them to get off their phone and clean off their trailer before they get on the road, there is dirt clods falling off everywhere.
