Finks did an incredible job on my 1911 pistol. I am more then happy with the outcome. I had all new parts installed which had to be fit to the pistol. He checkered the front strap to match the mainspring housing. Blasted the top of the slide and bottom of frame, re slabbed and polished the sides of the frame, slide, and hammer. Polished inside parts and tuned trigger to 3.5lbs. Re-crowned barrel. I already brought him another 1911 to work on. I highly recommend finks for custom 1911 work. I had some work done on my 300 RUM at a local gunsmith. When i shot it at the range the groups were horrible. When i took the rifle to Dave he pulled the action from the stock and the bedding work that had be done previously was not done correctly. When i showed up at his shop to pick up my rifle he removed the action and barrel to show me the new bedding and pillar work, something the last guy didnt do, night and day difference in quality, Dave Fink knows what he is doing. He also removed the break and clean up the crown and then zeroed it for me and the groups came back to sub MOA! I highly recommend Finks gun shop, NO B.S. going on at this shop Ill be returning for sure!!!
