Having to make way to many visits to this place for our JD. And when your problem was determined that there own work done 3 yrs ago has been the cause of your continuous 3 yr problem and you still have to pay to have it fixed again !! And can’t take any accountability.. That’s very, very poor management . If you like spending money on your tractor and each visit is around $2k each time then this is your place!!

It is 4 hours from our home, and we sent our deposit by phone for a used tractor. When we arrived on Saturday, the tractor met and exceeded our expectations, and the salesman had us finished in less than 30 minutes. Great experience!

This place is an absolute joke! Sales, Service, and parts! They don’t return calls, answer texts or have any idea what’s going on. They never have anything in stock! I’m amazed their still open. Good news, Kubota is opening 100 yards down the road! Shouldn’t hurt their business as they don’t really try to do any.

After waiting for a replacement blade for my mover for 20 MINUTES!!!!! I was forced to leave because they only had one computer working.!!!!!

The only reason I gave Meade 1 star is because 0 stars is not an option. I work in a garage for a local company with lots of John Deere and stihl equipment I have called several times to order parts against my better judgment after time and time again sitting on hold for 20-40 minutes it will not happen again I will be calling James river equipment for my John Deere and stihl needs and I highly suggest everyone else do the same!!!!

I have been to the Christiansburg location 3 times. Every time ends like the one before. No one acknowledges your there no matter if you are on the outside looking at tractors or the inside standing 10 feet away. I even went out and stood in the rain, leaned up against a lawn tractor and watched them from outside thinking that someone would finally understand that I wouldnt be standing there if I wasnt looking to purchase a new mower. The 3 guys then walked right by me( 2 of them salesman) and they went across the lot and then proceeded to talk to someone who had just pulled up. As I got in my truck to leave and slammed the door....not one head turned. Only when they heard me start my truck did 2 heads turn. As I pulled out of the lot one of the salesman tried to walk up to the moving truck in what appeared to be a very weak attept to flag me down. I guess suddenly I was worth his time. After I finish this I guess I will see where im gonna be driving to, to buy a good quality Lawn Tractor. Sadly if this is the way Meade in Christiansburg wants to do buisness I wont be the last person to walk out and go home.

The staff is always very curious and polite always asking if they can assist me in anything I may need help with. They always any question I have no matter how simple or complex in a very polite and respectful manner. Love going here and seeing all the new stuff they have in stock!!

Purchased a John Deere X500 at the old location on Radford road several years ago, at that time customer service must have been important. I needed another lawn tractor so I went to the new location twice within one week, both times I was there for over 30 minutes and no one from sales even talked to me or asked me if I needed anything. I only saw one sales person working and there was another guy driving tractors out from the back to the front for display both times, the only people to speak to me where the parts counter guys and they told me Id have to wait on a Salesman. So I figured after two trips there and walking around looking at mowers for a total of an hour they really didnt want to sell me anything so I went to a competitor and bought a new yard tractor. I hope you have better luck than I did.

Think twice before coming here. They have no clue what they are doing. No one in the store knows what is going on. Tell you your equipment is ready and sell it to someone else the same day.

I am very disappointed have you taken it two made to have problems worked on for two months each time I have a repair I have a new problem have had five different problems one after another would not recommend using this company unless you have a lot of time to spare

Took my John Deere gator to have a winch and plow installed, Meade removed the seat to access the battery to hook up the winch and didn’t fasten the seat back all the way. Drove back to my shop and the seat blew completely off and we didn’t relize it until we got out. Went to drive back to find it and it was completely destroyed.Call the manager and of course the denied taking the seat off and wasn’t responsible for any of it. Spend thousands of dollars here, not no more.

Very competent repair staff, but a bit pricey. We rely on them for all of our John Deere equipment, and they always seem to solve problems. They will work onsite, pickup or just work on what you deliver to the shop on Route 460 between Blacksburg and Christiansburg.

Very poor service. Been there twice e looking at mowers and no one came out to help me. Go inside and no one asked if they could help me. I have been told by some of my friends that their service department is not like it used to be. I cannot comment on that since I have not had anything serviced or worked on there.When Nelson and Charles Wimmer owned and ran it, they had great customer service and everyone there was friendly at there old location on the Radford Road in Christiansburg. Va.They need to greatly improve on customer relations at their new location where Meade owns it, in Christiansburg,Va. On 460.I have been in years past, a faithful customer of S.G. Wimmer and Son and have bought lots of equipment, both farm and construction equipment.Meade has changed my mind on purchasing anything from them at this time, at the Christiansburg, Va. Location.

I am very disappointed in the service here. My lawn mower was picked up two weeks ago and Im still waiting for it to be fixed. I have called several times and left messages and only once has my called been returned, after I asked to speak to the manager. I called again today to get an update and once again, someone took my name and phone number and no one has returned my call. Worst service Ive had in a long time.
