Nice clean store with helpful people. Sadly you cant check store inventory on the web so you have to drive there and take your chances. I gave my daughters $5 each and one chose a slingshot and the other chose a machete. Tons of fun.

Good selection with mediocre quality. I suggest spending the extra money on the ICON brand of tools they offer rather than the Pittsburgh stuff. I’ve personally seen some Pittsburg wrenches that weren’t sized correctly right out of the box. Nobody has time for rounded bolt heads!

LOVE harbor freight! Always always great deals on awesome tools and gadgets. The staff has ALWAYS been so nice helpful and friendly! As a matter of fact, my last visit as we went to checkout the manager handed us a nifty little magnetic led light and told us it was FREE. Now I guess there was a coupon for a free light online but we didnt know that so he had them scan it on his device and I got a free flashlight lol thanks!

I found what I needed easily and at a good price. This location is under serious construction and it was not clearly marked where to safely enter, so I ended up on a closed road that didnt say if you could access the business entrance around front. I turned around and drove down the street to another entrance. The sign on the building says Yes, Were Open, but an arrow for entering would be helpful.

Friendly, knowledgeable services and truly ridiculously low prices. Clean and well organized too. Will be back for future hardware needs.

Wonderful that HF is expanding and adding locations on the reasonable side of the state. You just cant beat their prices for basic tools and they are really upping their game into the pro-level tool market. Their tool boxes are every bit as good as Snap on and most hand tools are the same if not 90% as good as Craftsman for residential and light commercial use. They did away with the 20% coopin which screws things up a bit, guess the slave labor in the orient got sick of the pennies and wanted some dimes, still a go to for most tools.

Its like the dollar tree of tools basically. Guy thats been working the register there FOREVER has NO idea where anything is in that tiny store and has to call out back to ask what isle things are in. By the time they are done bantering and talking in pseudo Mexican accents to show off you couldve found it yourself. Not a single customer wearing a mask in the store...you can find a wide variety of stuff that looks cool but will break in 5 minutes...the bags of plastic clamps WILL break in a season...their store brand duct tape wont stick to anything other than itself.

Were out on an RV trip and decide we have to have a generator. Plenty of solid reviews on the Predator 3500 Inverter. The closest HF to us is in Christiansburg, VA so I call and Garren puts my name on 1 of the 4 in stock. We get there, Garren helps bring it to the truck, unbox it, add oil, gas it up, hook up the battery and start it up. Wasnt going anywhere without testing it. Then Garren helps me put it in the bed of the truck. SUPER GUY, SUPER HELPFUL, made our shopping experience the best!

A convenient place to get cheap tools.

Be very careful what you buy here. Always shop around! They have a pretty small fan made in China that is almost $200. I went to another store down the road and found the exact same size fan for $75 not made in China. Sometimes they have already deals but you will always get what you pay for. Had another multi tool purchased from here and it stopped working after only using it for an hour.

Inexpensive tools get the job done

Employees are very rude. Had some very rude employee follow me around the store then asked me and my mother to leave for no reason. Very unprofessional for a company that sells jack stands that kill people. Shop online for cheaper stuff and a more pleasant shopping experience. Most of the stuff they carry is cheaper on eBay

You get what you pay for. Some items are ok cheaper and some you need to spend more on. Their tarps are very good and do not hold up in the sun light.

My husband likes harbor freight mostly for the tools. They have a wide variety and the prices are good. They have a lot more than just tools tho. Lots of different shop and outside stuff. The customer service is great. Every one seems nice and if you cant find something they will find it for you. Its a nice place to shop.

Harbor freight has most of the tools that you would normally use on your vehicles and lawn tractors and all that. They even have some specialty tools but not many. I bought a couple small items but what I was there looking for they did not have. I was looking to buy a hand pump bottle jack. The only bottle jacks they had were the ones they had on display. No other bottle jacks or there. Unless you get one thats air operated and I dont have an air compressor to use one of them on. It was almost a wasted trip to Christiansburg Virginia. Thank you.

Harbor Freight has about anything you will need

This is a decent Harbor Freight, it has about anything you could ever want in the tool world. Just as all Harbor Freight, powered tools you should be aware use caution on the quality level however sandpaper and wire ties items like that they cant be beat for the price. Supposedly Harbor Freight is coming out with a line of tools to compete with Snap-On called icon, they had very few I icon tools at the store like maybe 3. I will go back in a few months to see if they have any more.

Great affordable tools. Super baity with their ads and sales, but the truth is the prices are incredible. If you arent using a certain tool daily, this is the only place to shop. Great for non-professionals.

Ive shopped at this Harbor Freight many times. The stores always clean and well-organized. Staff members are friendly and helpful, too.The first few times I went, Id forgotten to bring a coupon with me, and the cashiers just grabbed the nearest flyer and scanned the coupons for me anyway.For anyone who isnt really into tools and wants somewhere in between a department store and a place like Lowes or Home Depot (where you may feel intimidated by the selection, clients, etc.), I highly recommend this Harbor Freight.

The Christiansburg store it’s self is ok not great but ok, however I need to share my experience with the scam that is harbor freight. The 25/20% coupons no longer work on any power tools or equipment of any sort in HF. The new fine print lists about 30 brands including all central machinery, Bauer, and Hercules. No trailers no compressors. Nothing, harbor freight is more expensive than grizzly now. What’s the incentive to shop there? 25% on 7 dollar paint brushes...... I don’t think so.

Yes it is Harbor Freight but most of the tools I buy are great. I am a DIY guy so Im not building houses or working on cars. But the warranties they have are awesome. Store is always clean and management is great as well.

This is a great store for the DIY type. Got almost any tool you need to get the job done. Fair prices especially when you catch things on sell or use store coupons. Nice selection of tool boxes and organizers to get your shop up to speed. Plenty of items for the garage like air compressors, floor jacks, and power tools. A fun store to shop for the home mechanic and do it your selfer! Tons of inventory go check it out.

This is one of my favorite stores to browse. They have a large variety of tools. Their sales are great and frequent.

Harbor Freight is one of my favorite toy stores. This one is larger than some of them. As most are, it is clean and well stocked.

I felt my wallet tremble when Harbor Freight opened in Christiansburg. They always have some sort of fantastic deal on so many different types of tools and useful things. When Im looking at a home project, or when Im doing anything around the yard, and Ive discovered that I need something, I always check Harbor Freight 1st! For example when I was moving into my house, I had to replace the wheels on a hand truck. Granted this is a fairly small difference in this price range, but the wheels were less expensive and basically I was able to get a nicer wheel for the same price as the standard wheel at another retail store. If you havent signed up for their coupons, I recommend it! You may need to exhibit some self-control, but youll find some fantastic deals in there!
