Quick and to the point took care of me without trying to upscale. First time going there last time going anywhere else

On March 31, 2021 my husband had stopped in to rent a uhaul for our move. When trying to rent one, the associate said our card declined. I was on the phone with my husband at the time and immediately got an alert from out bank that $100 was taken out of our account by Powerzone. When my husband let them know, they said it should be returned within 24 hours and if not to call a number he had given them. Nevermind the fact that if our card was declined, how they managed to charge it $100.Two days later the charge was not off of our account and my husband called the number he was given and we were told 72 hours to be back on the card. 72 hours later the charge remained and my husband called again to be told the person was on vacation and he would be contacted by a manager. Another 3 days later and no manager has called us and the charge remains. The charge is in pending status and will not expire until May 4th for our bank to put it back on our card, and we can not dispute it while it is pending,What awful business practices and customer service, for a lot of families like my own $100 is a big loss for something you didnt even get to utilize.

Great customer service, very knowledgeable. These are guys you go-to to buy commercial or residential mowers. I get my zero turn serviced at powerzone for the last time.. The only problem I have is I was. Charged recently 7/19/21 for 901.00 for a full service tune up and replacing a gasket and some bolts that were missing. 350.00 for the full service tune up. The remainder was for replacing the gasket on a 18 horsepower lawn mower engine. 7 hours of labor. The lawn mower engine had to be removed to replace the gasket. This is way to much in my opinion. I feel like Ned Beatty from the movie Deliverance. Honestly I am going elsewhere for the same service for much cheaper to get my mower serviced. This is crazy to pay this amount of money for this type of service. Never again will I get my mower serviced at powerzone.

Was not happy with service of my brand new cub cadet RZT-S electric riding mower.took it in for warranty work after only having it for two weeks .they would call me on 15th 7/20. (No call of course) i called on 17th to get update. They had to order parts & didnt no when they come in. They call me when come in (of course no call again) i called on 7/24 to get update .they put me on hold for several minutes then told me it had been ready ( of course no call AGAIN)i picked it up on7/25 . I noticed that i didnt even get my original key with key card on it i got a wore out nasty, dirty key . When i asked the service dude about my key .he said he didnt no where my key was .but all keys are the same that one will work. Now only having mower two weeks.i shouldnt getting a nasty key. I guess this was my responsibility to check over lawn mover but i didnt because i have over a hour drive back home.once i get to unload mower i noticed damages to mower that definitely was not there prior. I see all these good reviews. But i definitely did not have good experience with the service that why a one star for me . Since this post . I have been contacted by the owner very quickly. He was very helpful on getting all the issues corrected . I am very pleased on how this was handled. I am changing to a five star . I would recommend this establishment thank you

I was very satisfied with my recent experience at Power Zone. I went in with the intentions of purchasing a ZT1 50. However, after learning that lapbar zero turns do not perform well on hills, and my yard does have a couple of steeper hills, I was unsure if it would perform well for me. I returned on Saturday and Jim assisted me with a demo on some of the hills that they have there. After confirming that this model was suitable for my needs, I was confident in my decision. I did upgrade to the ZT2 model which allows for servicing the transmissions independently. I have since had this on every hill at my house without having any problems whatsoever. So far, I have been very satisfied with not only my decision, but with the product as well.

Asked about a used mower and the person was to busy talking to someone else to answer my question. Then said he would transfer me to someone who knew a little more about what they had. was on hold and someone picked up didnt say anything and then put me back on hold. I was going to ask about new mowers but since no one wanted to speak to me I will go to Lowes or Home Depot.Follow up. Came to store and very nice professional staff and were a great help. Buy here.

If you need service on equipment they do it well at a fair price that you usually know and agree to before they start work. This is my second time looking at Honda lawn mowers. No better than my first visit. I looked for about 15 minutes each time and no one approached to ask me if I needed help. Finally as I was walking out the door a guy behind counter asked if I needed help. I just said not now, I could have used help. I will not even try there again and will contact Honda about poor customer service there. I will buy a Toro from Blacksburg Power Equip. where I was able to get great customer service!!

This is such a great place to go if you are looking for some high quality products that lowes and home depot dont necessarily carry. Went in looking for a Honda push mower and the employee that worked with me was very honest and told me the mower I was looking at was used a few times and returned, but if I was interested in it I could get a small discount and it would still come with a full warranty so I took him up on that offer! Mowed the yard about 5-6 times with it so far and it is mowing like a champ!! They also included a free bottle the ethenol free gasoline with my purchase!
