Worst place ever!!! First floor is flooded today and your on your own. I recommend you dont use them. They wont prorated even if its their fault and your furniture and electronics are ruined. 😡

Rented my storage at this location, customer service was beyond extraordinary friendly, helpful, cheerful completely surprised me. Anthony helped me and even went out his way to show me my storage to make sure I knew the location and the quickest way access it. This location is extremely clean one of the best public storages I’ve ever used. Customer service is superb!

Friendly staff and were very informative about the storage rates. Helped me get a unit quick before I had to move out of my apartment so I would have space for my house hold stuff until I found a new place. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Yvette

Veronica called and apologized for the inconvenience and as any good business fixed the problem by getting new carts. I go to the front office and they say they don’t have to provide me with that service? Charging the amount they charge? I’ve been to storages in San Ysidro, National City where the units are not so new and they do give great service, carts included😱😱. Definitely will have to go some were else. I had been a client for three years but since they changed to Public Storage.

The fees are extremely expensive. Thought I got a great deal online. Only to get there and find the space (recommended by rep)was too small, bcuz there was wire mesh in the ceiling which prevented how many boxes you could stack. I asked for the next size up and was charged $300 addtlPer month and the special I had prev booked the day before was no longer valid. Ffwd 6 mos later, I just noticed my bill has increased $97.00 per mo!!! For $600 mo, I could have literally rented a WHOLE STUDIO and used it for storage!! I really got played by these ppl. I wont be using them again.

We had a great move in experience with the front desk manager Yvette and Anthony. They handled the whole rental and move in process very professionally and so easy. U highly recommend Public Storage. They are the best.Thank you

They locked the restroom after office hours, gladly there are pretty gardens outside the building where my gf and I can pee if we need it. Thanks ps for keep your facility nice and clean.

I absolutely love this place. The staff are very courteous and quite helpful. My only issue is that my unit is a big safety hazard. I have zero light source in my unit and it is extremely dark and very hard to navigate. Please address my safety concern by providing an alternative form of a portable light source at the very least.Respectfully,Jason Pratt

As a service member in the military Im accustomed to moving my house hold goods and using storage units. Big Thank You to Rob Fragoso and his team for their timely support and flexibility. Very tactful and professional team! The space is very clean and their customer service is genuine.

Fantastic facility, newly built/remodeled, new fencing and wonderful facility security with coded doors and a CCTV system. The staff members are always available to help and are very energetic. I couldnt believe how eager she was to give me a tour of the facility, really refreshing to see.

Anthony helped me out through the phone and the call got disconnected somehow, but he immediately called me back to assist me. Not to mention he was kind and thorough with the info.

LaRetha was very helpful and friendly on my move in day. This is my first time getting a storage unit and she made the whole process very easy. She also helped me get a unit close to the access door for ease of moving in and out, which was very much appreciated.

I made an online reservation to move into this location on March 17th. I realized on March 11th that I didnt need the unit and called to cancel. I was told I would receive a refund and a manager would be calling me. I called the next day on the 12th to confirm this. Then I received a call on the 17th stating that I had left things in the unit. I never even went to the facility. I cancelled and I am still waiting for a refund at this point. Moving forward still no call. Ive been calling nonstop and it seems no one is ever at the location to answer the phone. I do not live in the area so it is not easy to get to Chula like that. Today I get a email saying I was charged for the storage unit. I have spoken to someone 3 separate times letting them know I have never been in this unit. And I am waiting for a manager to issue my refunds. Something needs to be done. Communication is terrible here.Update: the regional manager Rob was a big help in rectifying this issue. I was very confident that he would help me and he did. Thank you.

I have used many storage facilities in the past.This particular location (2191 Fenton st chula vista 91914) is one of the best structured facility in regards to easy Semi trucks & auto access. Bathrooms, and elevators were easy to locate. There was plenty of space in Hall ways and elevators for tall/wide items (which is a big plus). Also customer service was outstanding.Customer service Rep. LaRethaWas very helpful & consideratein accommodating my budget as well as exact space needed for my items.Greatly appreciated!

Clean facility, well lit. They charge $20 for a lock if you have your own lock return the lock the same day to get your money back or after the first day you eat the cost of a $20 lock that you’ll never need. Adjusted my star rating after the company reached out to me through telephone and text to return the price of the lock.

Great customer service from La Retha. We moved out and then were charged again after move out. La Retha, quickly fixed the problem and got the charge reversed and followed up. The facility is great and clean.

When Public Storage took over this site, I asked if they would honor the price prior to them owning this from Extra Space Storage. They denied my request. They obviously dont have any respect for the customers whove been here long before them. Its sad because I thought theyd have better customer service for the tenants. It took the District Manager MONTHS to reply to my request too. Like I said, customer service is obviously not their thing. Thus, Im taking my business elsewhere

The property is very nice and clean. Well lit and spaces have great ceiling height. The property manager is very kind and understanding. I moved from Orlando, FL to San Diego and he took the time to check on me knowing Florida may be getting hit by a hurricane. He took the time to see if 1, I was safe and 2, if I needed to move my move-in date out a little. Most companies wouldn’t take the time to remember something like that. When I arrived, I was beyond exhausted. The checking in process was swift and informative. I recommend anyone to use this facility for extra storage.

A great experience! I found Extra Space Storage on the web with search parameters of close to home. I found reasonable rates for my needs and completed an online registration form. Laura called me within two minutes, and within half an hour we met at the storage facility and secured a unit. Quick, easy and friendly service! Mostly indoor storage of all different sizes, it is clean, organized and easy to access.

Very impressed with this storage facility. Ruth was professional polite and accommodating. We have used three different public storage facilities over the past 10 years and by far Extra Space has the best prices, the most advanced technology and is user-friendly. They have extended hours no weird rules and odd fees. If you need storage and have used other facilities check this place out, you will not be disappointed. We actually rented a storage unit for my mother-in-law because it was near her home but now Im going to be vacating the storage facility we currently have and transition into this facility.
