I have bought a few mattresses in the past online, it was an ok mattress. I started having back pain and new it was time for a new mattress. After hours searching the web and looking at all the options I decided I needed to go in person. My first two stops were hard sell salesman. They were more interested in the sale than my comfort. I searched on Yelp and found Mathews. Great reviews, I will give it a try. WOW. No hard sale. And great relevant information. The manager had me try various mattresses increasing in softness until I felt it was the one. He left me to roll around and settle in a good while. Finally, I made my selection. The purchase was great, delivery was exceptional and OMG I am sleeping like a baby! At first, I thought it was too soft, but I didnt have a backache in the morning, so I slept well. After now a week or more I anticipate crawling into the most comfortable, softest, yet supportive mattress ever. Thank you so much for helping me identify what I needed. I am so grateful. I love this mattress and will forever more use Mathews Mattress to buy sleep.

Great company! Wonderful selection of mattresses, excellent communication when scheduling our delivery, and great deals (we got a free box spring, free delivery, and no sales tax!). And the best part...our mattress is so comfortable and we are sleeping well!

I had gone out mattress shopping because mine was on it’s last days.I am on a fixed income and also in possession of a bad back.I have had many surgeries so finding a good one I could afford was looking a bit impossible.Delivery was also several weeks out.Stopped in a Matthews mattress store because of a sign they had that read “family owned since 1991”.Sounded good to me. The man introduced himself as John. I explained I was 83 years old, on a very FIXED income, budget $699.00, needed xFirm and had 5 back surgeries. Also it would be very hard to wait several weeks. In about 10 minutes time, I was the owner of a Matthews XFirm mattress, priced considerably less than sticker price, sale price 699.00, and was to be delivered the next day from their warehouse.It was brought right on time, placed on my bed frame and the old one taken away.It is extremely comfortable and feels great on my back.Wonderful company. Nick at Matthews mattress hooked me up immeasurably. I was really impressed by the delivery procedure. The boys reached my house. They dropped off my California king mattress situated it in the frame and took my old mattress away. It took them about five minutes-LOL. We are having some of the best nights sleep that we have had in years. I had forgotten what a difference a new mattress makes. Spend a little money and get the best one that you can afford. We went in on superbowl Sunday after a bad experience at another store. The gentleman was super nice, professional and the prices were amazing. I walked out with a mattress that I love and they will have a returning customer. I highly recommend their services as they were one in a million.

From the walk in the door to the delivery of the bed, Matthews Mattress employees were good at listening to my requested, respectful of my time, and clean in their delivery and set up.

Finding my perfect bed was simple and easy from beginning to end. I found them through a search on the Internet and it took me directly to the store where my questions were answered by a friendly Professional, Chris. They had exactly what I wanted, I went into the store and they gave me a great deal. It was within the price range I was looking for. I feel completely satisfied that I got the highest quality product, friendly professional service and on top of it all I will get free delivery. It was a excellent experience all around.

After doing a week of mattress shopping, I stopped in at Matthews Mattress on Greenback in Citrus Heights. Nick was the salesperson. After all the mattress stores I had been to, I learned more from him than all the other stores combined. Extremely knowledgeable about all the brands they carry. After explaining to him what I wanted from a new mattress, he pointed out several different options for me to try. When I found the one I liked best, he gave me a great price on it and included a mattress protector and free delivery. So the mattress was delivered today. My delivery window was 11 to 2. At about 145 I was wondering if they were coming when I received a call from the delivery men who explained that they were running a little late but should be at my house by 215. They arrived at 215 and apologized. I understand how things can come up, but the fact that they called me to let me know is great customer service. From sales to delivery, this was a great customer service experience for me. Thank you!-Jill Conner

I had an excellent experience with John there who sold me my mattress. I appreciated his authenticity, and that he didnt make overt attempts at selling me something. John clearly knows mattresses and the variety of bed manufacturers. He has a good energy about him and felt down to earth and honest. Ill definitely return to Mathews Mattress for future bedding needs because of this experience. They are even delivering tonight!!

After years and years of Sleep Train loyalty, we were not sure about Mattress Firm so when we decided on a new bed we headed out to visit 3 dealer. We wanted to go to Matthews first because of the reviews. Justus was very helpful and knowledgeable and we did not have to shop any further. The follow up on delivery and set up from both Nick and Justus was great and we are very impressed. My wife and I would highly recommend doing what we did, try Matthews first.

Chris was very professional and knowledgeable answering all our questions. We chose the Mathews bed because it appeared to be the better construction and felt best to lay on for us. We will recommend Mathews and Chris to anyone we know is in need of a new bed.

I received great service from Mr. Ledesma at the Citrus Heights location. He was very patient and helpful. I learned a few things about a mattress that I never knew before and I got a great deal on a mattress. The delivery drivers were very nice too!!!!!!

Visited the Greenback Lane store today. Dustry Jorge the Sales Representative couldnt have been more helpful. He let us look around, checking with us periodically, but we felt no pressure from him. We would recommend this store to anyone needing to purchase a mattress. Prices are competitive and no pressure from Sales personnel to buy, but he was very helpful and courteous when we needed help.
