Never seem to have much new. Or even older. Loved this location 7-8 years ago, but GameStop in general has kinda gone downhill. Employees are still fairly nice and helpful when they can be at this location. This visit, guy was all alone with a bunch of people in store. Poor guy.

So helpful, knowledgeable, really nice, great prices, I mean really amazing prices. Cant wait to go back there again and spend some more money. My daughter is so happy with her gaming headset and We grabbed mortal kombat so I can Shor her how her dad can still play.

These guys were great! I love shopping here. Theyre so helpful & knowledgeable. They were able 2 answer all the questions me & my kids had & even the questions we shouldve asked they informed us of. The prices are very reasonable compared to most walk in stores. When they dont have what your looking 4 in stock @ tha location your at they give you all the info you need to check their other multiple locations, when theyre really busy, if thats the route you choose to pursue. Even being pretty much the worst time to go out shopping, ya knw with tha Holiday Season, the Crowds, & the ridiculous safety guidelines we all have to follow with this CoVid pandemic, I still had a great experience with GAME STOP. As long as they stay open I will always keep shopping there in the future.

Went to game stop today to trade in a game that I bought for $70 and they started tripping off a sticker ont he game and ripped me off and only gave me $19 dollars for the game. So if you buy a $70 do not go to game stop and try to trade it in for cash they will rip you off

Good game store. Good selection. Only location that had the game I was looking for. Greeted right when I walked through the door. Answered all my questions and helped me find exactly what I was looking for without any hassles. Recommend highly. Keep up the good work guys!!!

Her and her crew always help me with newbie stuff, Im an advanced gamer too, and out of loyalty to Lisa, I have purchased every console and new game release/preorder through her location. She will shoot you straight every time. The gents there are the bomb as well. These guys should make commission. A well earned, A++

The staff is mostly knowledgeable. I can usually get my questions answered relatively quickly. But admittedly, I mostly use the place as a point of research and then search the game Im looking for online to get a discount price.I have, in the past, done preorders on upcoming blockbuster game releases and theyve mostly gone without a hitch.

My husband bought Battlefield 1 not even 24hrs before we took the game back because he absolutely hated it. The receipt says they will work to keep you satisfied & do a return or exchange... The sales associate recited some robotic spiel about how they cant take back an opened brand new game because they cant sell it like that but then said they would give us 20 DOLLARS for it!! Like really, he was just there at 8 the night before and when he bought it they didnt mention how they dont do what their receipt says. And if they cant sell the game like that they how could they offer us 1/3 of the price for an exchange? Such a ripoff.

Annoying always being assaulted with buy this and buy that! Pressure from employees who approach you as soon as you step in the door to push sales! Personally hard not to be straight up rude and tell them to back off! Their USED games are only 5 dollars cheaper than the BRAND NEW copies but you can return them! They buy your used games if youre hard up enough to take their measly offerings! Will give you at the most $20.00 on average for a game that just came out and then turn around and sell it for $54.99!

During the busy Christmas rush the staff at this GameStop helped me find a Funko Pop that I was looking for on short notice. Although the store felt somewhat cramped it was clean and well ordered.

Horrible customer service from Josh.Both employees asked if I needed help.Both walk right past me going to the back room without grabbing any keys to grab my merchandise off of the wall so I can purchase it.About 10-15 minutes go by still didnt get no type of service they just look at you stupid.You know when theres two people behind the front desk I really dont expect that much to get a plastic controller off the wall.Working for GameStop is so Tiring from standing behind a desk all day.What a lovely attitude for a Manchild Working For Gamestop. Lol

Love this store!After having a rotten experience at the store off Madison and nasty customer service from the one in Roseville I found this store by accident and have been happy ever since.The manager is great and if you know the long term staff they are fun to talk to and get advice from on games.Yes, they are a gamestop and all gamestops want you to buy used if they can... but this place knows I only buy new and they dont push me which I love!I have been to alot of Gamestops in Cali and this place is easily in my top 5!FYI- if you call in the early morning you can be put on hold abit but thats cause they get crazy busy~~~UPDATE 10/2020So this store has finally reopened but the old crew is gone - and with it my 5 star review!Sadly, the magic that made this store special and fun has turned to dust.The store has lost its friendly vibe and warm atmosphere for the bland personality of the cookie cutter gamestops of soft selling pre-owned to subpar customer service all for the sake of churning out customers and profits.The last month my visits to this store have left a taste of bile in my mouth specifically one guy who worked behind the counter who lectured guests to wear masks but kept his under his nose making his own mask useless!Highlights of the decline of this store:Having to wait in line as the same above mentioned guy helped one customer who was it appears a friend of his answering random questions but not buying anything while customers stood in que for over 5 minutes.Watching staff refuse to help customers in que so they could leave on time while acknowledging customers in line - waiting.Today walked into the store its layout completely changed and feeling beyond sterile and empty...Waited in line and what appears to be the manager took my purchase. After an attempt to get me to buy random items i was asked about existing pre-orders. When i told them about my pending order he tried to tell me how it was going to be delivered and i corrected him.I was then told that i need to call gamestop support to get my item delivered to my home and not to the store.The reasoning as follows:* Gamestop no longer uses UPS but FedEX* Because of this FedEx will deliver packages to the front of the building so anyone can easily steal the packages of high end merchandise and no one can stop themSadly, he offered no level of customer service to help (Call phone support, etc) beyond defer me.With all the bad experiences from this store the magic is gone... this was the 3rd strike.Yes, Covid changed the world but it only put an emphasis on customer service to encourage customers to make the venture to your business.I waited so long to see Lisa and the original crew... along time and the golden age has gone.All this store encourages now is to order online and avoid the hassle..Why am i so heated about the drop in quality here?Before i would spend over 240 a month because the atmosphere was welcoming and warm. It was a place for gamers to be...Now this place is just a fast food joint get your stuff and get the H out.UPDATE #3Well, I keep my reviews HONEST and seems the guy who pitched he was the manager was actually a keyholder and like the other people in my 1 star drop thankfully no longer with the store!As such i met the real new manager and bumping my score back up accordingly as he was Lisas original trainer and is as cool as can be!

Went in to pick up a video game that I had pre-ordered for my son. The refused to allow me to pick it up at first because I didnt have an ID. I called the corporate office and was told that ID is not required to pick up a pre-ordered game. The cashier informed me that $60 is a lot of money and that she had no intentions of letting me walk out the door without ID despite the fact that I had my receipts for all of the payments my son had made towards the new game he wanted. The cashier let me know that the receipt could very well be stolen and that people do it all the time.Anyhow, I went and got my ID and showed it to her.. She glanced at it for almost two tenths of a second and said now was that so hard.. What she failed to realize is that my name is NOT the name listed on the receipt lol. Additionally, when I pointed out that she had not even really looked at my ID and asked her if she even read my name she told me I could take my game and leave. I let her know that my name does not even match the name on the receipt and she tried to take the game out of my hands. Im disappointed that she made such a big deal out of the slight possibility that I may be trying to pick up a game that Wasnt mine that she Didnt even really inspect my ID or verify that I was the one the game was supposed to be given to.Soo, long story short: Game stop DOES NOT have a policy that states you need your ID when you pick up pre-ordered games, their staff is under the impression that $60 is a lot of money, and they will give a game to ANYONE WITH AN ID however, the ID does not have to belong to the person listed on the receipt and their staff will not even look at your ID long enough to even catch your first name.

People love to rag on game stop, the evil big box store, but thats not always the case there are some great locations, this is not one of them. Every single time I go in there their pushy and dont take no for an answer... its like talking to used car salesman.and they are always losing games cant find this or that. but the thing that takes the cake is, Im a pretty regular customer they recognize me when I come in, but the chick behind the counter refuses to sell GTA 5 to me because I dont have my ID. Im 30 years old and its not like Im trying to buy alcohol or something. Just ridiculous. She was so rude about it. Just grabs the box out of my hand sets it under the counter and says next customer in line!. There was no one behind me. See you next Tuesday.
