Ive been here 3 times. This is more of a convenience coffee stop than out of the way.Staff is usually friendly and helpful.My drinks were tasty but sometimes a bit sweet.Would go back and recommend.

These ladies are great! Sometimes I like to switch it up and not sure what to order but the staff is usually great at recommending the perfect drink. Fast service, reasonable prices, reward system and great energy! Thanks ladies!

Love it the nutty Irishman and huge mocha are my favorite. Also have hot or cold chocolate milk for kids only $1.

We were passing through Sacramento and happened to stop by here! Had the best coffee and hot chocolate ever here!!! You can just drive through and the service is quick. Staff are friendly too, gave some extra whipped cream for my pup too!

Java Ladies are soooo sweet & helpful.. I have a new FAVORITE Coffee now...Low Cal WHITE MOCA & I had to try a DAY OLD Chocolate cheese cake CUPCAKE! Yumm...Still FRESH!!I suggest anyone to try them.....;)💘

I love this place. They actually remember me and know how I like to have my iced coffee for the most part. I like all the different flavors that they advertise. So that Im not trying just the same old thing. I sometimes will go out of the way just to go to this place. So far my favorites are orange mocha, cherry mocha, mint and chip, and I made my own concoction, orange cherry mocha.

OMG.. I LOVE THIS PLACE...ALWAYS THE BEST COFFEE AND SERVICE. Regardless of what time I go to this location everything is always amazing and guest service is the best.. All the girls are extremely friendly and ask how Im doing and actually care about what I say.... I go every Tuesday around 6:15am and the lady is so beautiful, and friendly no matter how many cars are on each side and its only her I see... She is fast and friendly early morning every week..

Was looking for a non-Starbucks coffee shop that could actually make what we wanted. Ordered a blended mocha (frappe)-- our normal go-to in our Thailand home, but hard to get a good one here. But this was the best one Ive had in the US and at a better price than the big brands. Im certainly coming by here on my next trip to the area!

Came here about a week ago because I have been trying to frequent more local shops because I’m tired of starbucks.. coffee was just okay.. forgot my whip cream. girl working wasn’t very friendly..

This is a great little place! asked for a recommendation and ended up getting a caramel mountain (im pretty sure thats what it was called) and an order of monkey bread, and its fantastic. i didnt catch the name of the awesome lady who helped me but i would definitely reccomend this spot!

Great coffee. Im sure its still the best, yet staff shows little to no concern about the current epidemic. Its hit & miss. Sometimes they wear masks, sometimes they do not. Sometimes they wear gloves, sometimes they do not. Sometimes they wash their hands or change gloves after handling money from prior customers & sometimes they do not. The product is the best. The lack of concern for the customers health is below average. Especially when its required now for a business to operate during this pandemic.

They are amazing! Good service. I have always gotten an iced vanilla latte there and today they helped me try a new flavor. Hazelnut latte is my other favorite. I also love the taste of their coffee! Not too strong and not too sweet. It is perfectly in the middle. People who are coffee lovers and dont like super strong coffee i suggest you go to them.♡

Every time fast friendly service. As for hot coffee I only order the white mocha, tried several of their blended drinks and always so good. I prefer them over Starbucks or Dutch Bros.

This little pit stop is amazing! I have 3 Starbucks right down the street from me, but I dont mind taking a drive down the road to ordering their hot white mocha. The service, is OUTSTANDING!!!

I really like this coffee shop, everything is pretty good here. The White mocha is GREAT, white caramel mountain (Carmel macchiato, pretty much), shakes, and vanilla chai. Theyre quick, friendly, and it taste great! Stop here if your in the area

I visit almost every day. Their Blended drinks are totally different as another coffee shops, so good! All stuffs are very friendly and welcoming. Sometimes you have to wait little bit, but worth it.

We got great service and the drinks were very tasty. We needed a little energy for a big day and it was our first visit there. We also got muffins while we were there. They were fresh and delicious. We will be going back again soon. It was a nice change. I highley recamend this for a quick stop.

I come to Sacramento periodically and when I arrive I HAVE to come here. Same goes for when I leave. I get the biggest White Chocolate Mocha possible. Starbucks aint got s**t on this place!

Came by for the 1st time in many years. I spilt one of my drinks leaving the parking lot. I came back asking if they could remake it for me. She said she would charge me.I said never mind and I probably wont come back for a long time.As Im driving away she tells me well you are the one that spilt it. Not the best customer service for somebody that had spilled coffee all over them.

Im a heavy coffee drinker and I usually ask for an Americano in a Starbucks because regular coffee taste is very inconsistent. I came to Hot Java Cafe a few months ago and I asked for an americano as well just to make sure I would get a fresh coffee. It was very bad. Today I decided to try their regular coffee and I gotta say is really good! So good I am writing a review on it. I will be a regular from now on.

Been going off and on for over a year. The only reason this isnt a 5 star rating is because they use a coffee substitute mixture in some drinks rather then espresso. While this wont bother MOST people it does bother me.

Egg nog coffee and pumpkin scone were yummy. Young lady in the booth was friendly and helpful to a new by.

I just spent 5 minutes sitting behind a friend of the person working inside while they had lengthy conversation. They saw I was sitting and waiting to order and ignored a customer so they could continue their conversation. I ended up having to drive elsewhere to get service. Whomever is working inside really needs to focus more on working and less on personal conversations. I honestly wish I could give zero stars.
