Started with thge contact them thing online. They sent me a text saying they would get back to me. Called the office several times, no one ever answers. Left several voice mails. Even called the main 800 number or whatever was on the webpage. Nada! Guess business is good if you dont need to call prospective customers back. I could only image if I had my property there and actually really needed to talk to someone. NO THANKS!

These are hard times and storage isnt really the first thing on the list to pay. If you are 1 month over due, lets say you every month at the same time and you needed to skip a month and werent diligent about being on time to the day? Like say you got the money to pay the storage on the 15th, so you can pay your one month overdue and pay the current month. You will be stuck if thats all the money you have because they will charge you up the B. Not worth it.. This is not Xfinity or a Utility bill CubeSmart they will straight up put a lein on your unit and auction it off unless you pay the storage and all the expensive fees. Plus they raise the price every year, I have been customer for 4-5 years when I first rented the 10x10 unit the price was $130 per month and now it is just over $200. No not happy at all. The sales department (which is based out of state) placed me in the wrong type of unit at another facility. I was just going to find another storage facility, but Tatiana had reached out to do a follow up and when I explained the situation she went above and beyond to help me get into the right type of unit. She was friendly, professional, and you could tell that she genuinely cared about solving my problem. Its just a storage unit, but the customer service is A+.

Never any problems, easy access

I did everything over the phone. Then I was called by the manager of the property promptly. He was very professional and had the answers to my concerns.Just FYI the first month is not Free! I learned about the insurance after talking with the Manager.I am on unemployment and need to store my tool box for a couple months. But All good I needed a place the next day!The manager of the Property was kind and deserves some Acknowledgement

They are very helpful and professional. Unlike my last place, it was really nice to hear that their hours of being able to enter and leave are very reasonable. 10 pm is much better than 7pm like most places.

I had to give 1 star but they dont even deserve that, through this Covid crisis they not only charged every late fee they could. They kept raising rates, they do not care, and they have rats bad, I had 3 units there. I finally found a place that all 3 units fit in, but they are also under 200 a month.

This place is wonderful. The staff Marlo and Rick were so incredibly helpful. I took a three and a half hour trip to get to CubeSmart only to find that I had left my key to my lock behind. They opened my unit helped me get a new lock. Offered me water.I had rented a unit that was too small they were quick to accommodate me with a size that fit my needs. I would advise anyone use the CubeSmart on greenback Lane.

You can store your stuff here, or you can store it in a bush.... Ones free, and ones a safe place for your belongings... Unfortunately both of those places are the same... Take the bushes, otherwise you may never see your stuff again. And dont leave it unlock after you move out because if some throws some trash in your empty unit, theyll save it and charge you every month for the next year or more. Even if you tell them repeatedly you no longer have a unit.... But choice is yours.

Cubesmart is clean, safe and reliable and very cost effective compared to the big name storage place by at least half and that is amazing in todays day and age, thank you to the folks at Cubesmart!

Worst storage experience ivr ever had managed very poorly

I placed my storage reservation online, which was simple. Once I got to the store, the manager Jason was very friendly and helpful. I needed a bigger unit and Jason was great at finding one for me and also a great discount. The service is very sufficiently ran.

My personal contact with Marlo Martin and Rick Russell made me feel welcome. Both staff members were courteous, helpful and pleasant. The storage complex is clean and I am happy I made the choice of renting storage space with CubeSmart Self Storate.

Tatyana (sorry if I spelt your name wrong) was amazing and gave superior customer service! She answered all my questions and made me feel that I could trust storing my property there. Thank you!

This storage facility is constantly getting broken into and CubeSmart has made no attempts to improve security deterrents. I do not recommend using this company to store your items, unless you dont mind your stuff getting ransacked and broken.

Marlo and Rick at the Cubesmart in Citrus Heights CA are AMAZING!!!!! We moved from Santa Rosa to Citrus Heights, a 3 hour away move and ran into so many obstacles. We were so frazzled when we got to Cubesmart. Marlo and Rick really helped us out.

Very patient and friendly employees. Helped get my brother situated during a hard time, made it as easy and quick as possible.

I got my first storage unit several months ago with Hunter. I have had many obstacles with my move and needed additional units. I usually had the privilege of talking with Hunter. He was able to accommodate my every need and has been such a pleasure working with him. Any question I have, he knows exactly what to do or not to do. I view him as an asset to Cubesmart!!!! He is knowledgeable, courteous and made my experience so much easier!!!! I will recommend Cubesmart Citrus Heights because of Hunter!!!

Great place to leave your stuff if you want it stolen. My ex wifes elderly parents stored their belongings there and when we went back to clean the storage out we found out someone broke through the back wall and stole a bunch of their stuff. It had to have happened months ago because of dust that built up all over the stuff they ripped apart and no one even knew it had happened. Sad to think these lowlife thieves can gain access to your stuff undetected, the items were left there for safe keeping and this happens.

Thought it was quick, clean and very professional. I love that you guys beat everyones prices and love the security. Ive recommended to quite a few people.

Clean, well managed, manager and staff helpful.

Started out ok, then it got worse fast. Had auto payment set up, fraud prevention from my bank stopped the payment, since I was out of town and it was showing card usage in two locations at the same time, not a problem, got a phone call from the manager a few days later, had to go in, system would not let me use the same card that was set up for auto pay, used another card, problem fixed. Then, rate increase without notice. Then a month later again attempted to charge card, my bank says no attempts were made, no phone call, no e-mail, no text message, why do they have all of this contact information if they do not use it? So the (assistant manager?) Jason, doesnt look at the account, doesnt do anything except file a lien notice which gets mailed to me. I am not sure what the problem with follow through is at this location, but a rate over 30 dollars higher than an indoor, climate controlled facility? So, needless to say this will be my last payment to them, and I will be moving out next week. The rates are market driven, is what I was told, well the market does not seem to be an increase without notice, and apparently I can do better elsewhere. I will not rent here, or at CubeSmart ever again.

Not thrilled with my experience so far. When I went to pay for the unit and secure it, the price was higher than the advertised online price. One of the employees had told me she could get me further discounts, but when it came time that I needed the unit and had to pay, that was not the case. I also bought their padlock, which the dude opened from the package and put the key in as though he was testing it before he gave it to me. It wasnt until we had unloaded a semi truck of stuff, sorted it all, and loaded up vehicles, and unloaded the first load into the storage unit before I realized that the dude did not infact turn the key, and the padlock did not work. It was close to close, with no time to go buy one and no one on site at that hour, We ended up leaving our stuff unsecured for the night and reloading the rest of our stuff back onto the semi truck only to unload it again the next day. Like I said, not thrilled with my experience so far. Well see....

I can sum it up in one word Horrible, untrustworthy, rude . All are different 1 word sayings that sum up this cube smart . Keep a copy of your online reservation(less expensive and month free) otherwise they conviently wont see it online. When you get you first receipt and contract, make sure it states online reservation and all discounts otherwise you will be charged a different price. If late more than 15 days for any unforseen reason expect to pay a $ 100 inventory fee, a letter to let you know your late fee, late fee, and a service charge for there work. Lol like they actually inventory it. They only open it to see what you have so they can take What they want .They will pick and choose whos rent they want to raise and how much. Would not recommend renting from them They look like a great deal, but lol NOT once they add this charge, that charge ........Insurance.....not an option you have to buy it . Should be optional

My storage was broken into, and I found out when I went to unlock my storage and the lock was different. CubeSmart decided to put a new lock on mine and never notified me. Sounds like an inside job.
