I looked all around for a 16 pink girls bike for our Granddaughter. All of the others were too hard for her to pedal. Clarksville Schwinn fixed me one up with a basket and horn while I waited. Their customer service is great, and their very friendly. Plus I get a free year of service. You may pay a little more, but the quality and customer service is worth it. One of the most helpful and knowledgeable bike shops I have ever been to. Staff is super friendly and doesnt talk down to you like some shops. Listens to your wants and helps you find exactly what you are looking for. Their mechanic is second to none! I drive about 50 minutes to this shop and past several on the way thats how good they are!

I came in with an Idea of the bike I wanted. They pointed me to the perfect bike. Taught me the proper seat height and had a no pressure sales environment. All my questions were answered kindly. I would definitely buy from them again and I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

Great customer experience. I found Clarksville Schwinn through the Pivot Cycles website and happened to be in the area for work. Glad I stopped in. I spoke with Chris, who was very knowledgeable and friendly, he hooked me up with the Pivot Switchblade Id been seeking (it actually arrived on truck while I was there) and gave me what I felt like was a great deal on it. He also set me up with a new hitch rack. Ill definitely be back.

It took me about 2 months and five visits here to pull the trigger on a new bike but these guys were so patient and helpful to me. I went in thinking I would be leaving with a Santa Cruz Bronson but I ultimately left with a Pivot Firebird that I hadn’t even considered due to the high price tag. Chris and Bob helped make it affordable and I couldn’t be happier with the bike and the service after the sale. Chris even let my 8 year old that also loves mtbs go back with him to set up my bike up and he answered every question that asked without patronizing him. Great locally owned family business that I am so thankful to have in my community

Kevin and this store are better than the internet. Wanted to upgrade my 1992 Mongoose MTB. Spent some hours finding deals on the internet 🤷‍♂️. Kevin asked my budget ($500-$1000) He took my wife and kids to the basement. 1000’s of bikes prob 500 MTB in the store. Showed me everything from possible internet dream bike (crazy good deal 2014 Cannondale 60% off). I tried both 27.5 and 29 inch Giant Fathom. No pressure sales and no reason to haggle bc the prices are amazing. Rode the backfield this morning. Very happy. Thanks guys.

Went in with an old Schwinn bike seeking information or any help as I am new to cycling and looking to find a good fit even considered buying a bike. It was also highly recommended! No one greeted us when we entered the store, mind you we were only one of 3 people in the store. We finally managed to talk to the one you get boy that working in the store to explain the troubles I had been having with the bike only to have them say yup it’s the rim well cure it. Took the bike and never said how long or anything, so of course I asked and they said Friday it would be ready (it was a Tuesday). Of course I understood it was busy but Friday came and went and I heard nothing. I called on the following Tuesday and asked they said I could pick it up. Turns out they didn’t look at the back of the bike and the whole cassette was wobbling when riding causing the issue. Very frustrated to say the least.

This place is awesome. They are very friendly, very helpful and super knowledgeable.

Bob seemed more annoyed than helpful. I wanted to buy a bike or get mine repaired, but he said he didnt have any bikes to sell, so I got mine repaired. He said the repair would cost between $50 - $60, and it came up to $83.13!!! And he didnt even say thank you.

Bought a bike. First mile chain gets jammed. Return it. Called to pick up. Walk in, no one greets me. When they do, guy takes a phone call and tells called guy is on toilet. Hangs up. Doesnt look at me. Then texted someone. Finally he gets back to me. Place is a joke. Service is lacking any warmth or sincerity. How hard is it? So disappointed in how I was treated.

Not happy with this store, whatsoever.When I initially called for an estimated price and repair timeframe, I was quoted $50 forthe total refurbishment, including a bike tune up. 2-5 days was quoted for the tune up time, with this store being open 7 days per week.However, what they failed to reveal was that they had approximately 210 bikes needing work, with mine being just another one to add to their backlog. And even though they should have stood by their word to do the work properly and on time, OR at least call me, at some point, to update me of the work being done, to be professional - I was ignored until I initiated my own inquiring call the morning of the 5th day of their 2-5 day verbal agreement to me.What did I learn with calling?Oh. Only that it wasnt near ready, because it was still standing in the corner of the Schwinn store without so much as a second of their time given it. Needless to say, I was livid that no one had been professional enough to even bother to give me that first kindness to update me, or care enough to call to see if I wanted to take it elsewhere.No.This was not MY choice to make on MY own property. Ultimately, then I was promised a mechanic would certainly look at it in one half of an hour for his proper evaluation.What do you know?99 hours after my son dropped off that mountain bike - 4 full days, plus 3 1/2 hours of actual work-time later - there was a voicemail message left saying that the bike was finished, but that the total bill would be $90, instead of the quoted $50, because of a replaced part ...yes, another call that was never made to me, on behalf of my bicycle repairs, asking mypermission to do the alleged, extra, necessary work, and asking whether or not I agreed for them to replace the alleged, necessary part for an additional $40 fee.No calls; no professional communication; no respect.Im so truly disappointed and disgusted, friends.Now, I havent picked up my bike yet.But you had better believe that, beforehand;I am positively going to demand that they produce an itemized statement with proof positive that the additional costs are warranted, rather than that inflated bill being just some sort of punishment tactic for me responding angrily to their very poor bicycle service. And I did indeed angrily complain, too!PLEASE, know this:NEVER, AGAIN.Never, again.

Purchased a new Cannodale bike and drove 2 hr to pick it up. When I got it back home the bike derailer and brakes did not work properly even though it was brand new. Another issue I had was when I needed a replacement part on a broken item they took my phone number and said they would get back to me with a price bc they were very busy....been 3 days and I dont think Im getting a call back.

Always have had great service at Clarksville Schwinn. From my first mountain bike that I bought from them back in 1999 to a more recent road bike purchase. They stand behind every purchase and will always quickly assist if you need some adjustments. Bob Peters and Kevin are great to work with personally, as well as the rest of their staff. Walked in knowing exactly what brake pads I needed. They told me it would trash my brake rotors in which I told them what I was running as I built the bike frame up. Instead of them doing any research, basically shamed me into leaving. But I walked back in knowing what I had and what works. Disappointed they just relied on one guy in the backs opinion vs actually knowing or researching an answer. In the end the guy was wrong.

Went to this shop recently while in the market for a new bike. Kevin was very helpful in helping me choose my bike. He took plenty of time to explain new technology and I never felt pressured. Once the bike was built, he made sure all the fit was right and made any adjustments needed. He made sure I was a satisfied customer and was just downright awesome. Had the Pivot about a month now and have been loving every minute of it!

The people here tend to be quiet and low key. Others take it as inattentive but they just arent pushy. Everyone Ive talked to is very knowledgeable about what they sell and what the differences mean. Just ask them a question and youll see. My son gets all of his gear here and is comfortable discussing his options with them. Highly recommended.

I love this shop! Im a big fan of Cannondale and Giant bikes, so its no surprise I like them. The service department is friendly and they turn out repairs faster than any other bike shop in town.They carry everything from Schwinn cruisers all the way up to Pivot and Santa Cruz mountain bikes, so you know they have the stock.Lots of old parts too you can buy for cheap since theyve been around for nearly 40 years.I cant recommend these guys enough.

Been to all the local shops in the surrounding areas and Clarksville Schwinn is easily the best bike shop around. Also the ONLY authorized Cannondale dealer which is a plus and a big Giant dealer. If you are looking for either of these bikes or any other brands they carry check them out.I went looking for a new mountain bike early this year and ended up at Clarksville. Unlike most shops, they have a wide range of bikes in all sizes from high end to more budget friendly. And if you are looking for more higher end bikes, they usually them.Obviously, I ended up spending my money there on a new Cannondale F29 carbon. Dealt with Chris on my purchase and havent looked back. He has taken care of all my biking needs.Recently took a friend there, she ended up coming back home in a new Giant for her. Shes been very happy with her treatment and plans to go back. Chris helped her out with all the setup and questions she had.Great customer service no matter if your buying a $7000 bike or $10 part.I will be buying my next bike there, Im sure of that.

I live over in Fern Creek in Louisville and I make the trip to this bike shop due to the terrible service that I used to receive from a shop in Middletown. I took my bikes to these folks and they reversed the other shops mistakes. Bikes ride better than new now!!! 11 out of 10 for Clarksville Schwinn!!
