We love Rural King and we take our grandchildren to look at the baby chicks often. We go there sometimes just to check out things and get ideas. We are looking for something that will deter our new 10 plus year old rescue cat from jumping on the kitchen table. Many of these suggestions involve using treats for rewarding behavior. Our cat is diabetic and this would not work. We have tried scratching posts but did not work. There is no food there on the table. I thought it was because the sun shines there. But we wake up the find him sitting on the table. Is there something we could make that would deter him from getting on table.we would need something that would go all around the table. Thank you in advance for suggestions .
They definitely need more cashiers and more cat related items including larger bags, but its generally clean and the popcorn is back.
I go there one or twice a month for water cheapest place and my dog loves going in
I love to roam around rural king, never know what well find. We go there regularly the reason that we go actually in the first place is because we buy massive bags of whole corn to feed the deer because we have several herds of deer here on our property arent we blessed, I love the wildlife, although the hawks can be scary, but the deer, wild turkey, gotta love them. Coyote are getting closer, they scare me more than the hawks

New to town and all my tools were packed. Needed to flip a ball hitch around and needed some tools to do it. Came in and asked if they could help me out. They took me to the back and pulled all the tools out to help. We couldnt get the ball off but I really appreciated that they tried to help. Will be back after having that great experience!

Really like shopping here but since the pandemic they cant seem to keep this store staffed adequately for the amount of business it does on a regular basis! And heaven forbid you try n call the store for customer service so you wont waste a trip, the automated answering system they have stinks it goes in a complete circle no matter what extension you pick!!! Very poor customer service 😢😞
Rural King has stepped up from what it use to be back when it first opened. When it first opened it was a mess and junkie and now its a lot cleaner and better at having merchandise on the shelf. The only problem I have is the pricing and labeling in this store. That could be a hell of a lot better. Nothing matches on the shelf with the product so you have no ideal what the hell the price is. That is the only thing they need to really work harder on in that store.
I am usually treated well here but today sadly I was treated terribly. I work out of Nashville and had some other errands, telling my husband about some trees I wanted to buy at Rural King. I live akd work over an hour away from the store, so I thought calling to ask two questions before I head all that way would make it so much easier to know one if they still had the trees in stock and two, if I had the money for how many I needed to buy.Call first time, customer service lady answers. I tell her what Im looking for and needed those two questions I stated up above in my review answered. She put me on hold for 17 minutes. I hung up because I figured if someone had went to check they would be back by now.Call second time, she hung up the phone.Call third time, I nicely repeated what I needed and ask if I could talk to someone in the gardening area or similar. Just needed the questions answered. She said, I cant get you what you need. Call back later. And she hung up again.Last weekend I spent $600 at Rural King. Weekend before that $800. Im going to look elsewhere for my animals, fencing, grass seed and trees elsewhere.That was the rudest I have ever been treated over the phone, just for two simple answers that were literally right outside the door.
This place is awesome! My wife and I are homesteaders and we visit this store often. We also foster cats. It has all kinds of supplies, clothes, tools, plants, camping products, and even little animals like chickens and rabbits! Yesterday I went in my myself so my wife could watch our sleeping kids in the car. I purchased a Rural King hat for $4! I was asked if I needed that and I replied no, but I want to support and rep this wonderful establishment! 🙂
Store has just about anything from the old general store and more.Family friendly and pet friendly.check out was easy.
Literally had my shopping cart rammed with a large flatbed cart driven by an employee without and sorry or excuse me. Typically enjoy a visit to RK but will not visit this one again.
Love going here, but stores in Knoxville TN and Florence Al are much better organized and cleaner.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. I couldnt find what I was looking for and ask an employee, they told me exactly where the item was and I was out the door in minutes
They do probably have what youre looking for and if you can get someone to help maybe they will. Most of the men are grumpy and it seems the turnover is fast and furious because of all the new faces all the time. The checkout can be harrowing too. 80% of the time the girls are frustrated and ready for the day to be over. It seems management could use some work as Ive seen many ways to improve performance and reduce stress but some simple techniques are never used.So get in, get your stuff, and bail like its on fire.
It was great people in parking lot giving away puppies pigs. Free popcorn in store. Staff friendly. Customers nice. Plenty of store merchandise and choices

The retail staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend that portion of the business.I would have rated it five stars, however I cannot recommend trying to have your lawn equipment serviced here. The first time I got my riding mower back and it still wasnt in working order. The second time it sat for 2 1/2 weeks and they kept telling me it was next in line. I finally had to pick it up and take it to Davids Small Engine Repair on Heather Dr. where he fixed it right then in 15 minutes for $35.
The customer service there is ok and the employees are friendly,though sometimes trying to find one to help you is down right impossible!! They are always so busy, so I wont complain too much! I know that they do there best and thats why I love rural king!!

They even had Baby Chicks and Rabbits for sale.A convenient place for those who prefer a Rural way of Life!
This place has great prices for a very broad range of products. Clothing, chickens, hardware, hunting supplies, pet food, ammunition, mineral blocks, etc. I’ve bought all of this and more and haven’t ever felt bad about spending too much. I think their whole kernel corn is only about $6.79 for 50lbs!!!Check out their Car-hart section! I bought 2 for my kids and almost bought a little bubble gum pink one for my daughter but I had to practice self control!!!To top it all off, you can get popcorn and snack as you shop!

This place is out of a lot of product. THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE! I would rather know the product is in stock before I come rather than drive an hour to get there and it not be there! Why have a phone to a company or business and not have anyone answer it? I called all of the departments even the Admin office and still no answer! Highly disappointed!

They pretty much anything you need from your home 🏠 and garden also farm equipment. Prices are around average.
Love the selection, and from clothes to feed, farm and garden to household goods, its always fun to go in and see what they have each week. The music while shopping is always family friendly and positive, and they always have a free item of the month, when you take you pet in with you. Its like an overgrown general store, where you can get almost everything you need, in one stop, except cold groceries, although that would be awesome!

It was a very busy Saturday. We wanted to take our grandson to see the chicks and do some shopping. All of the juvenile animals are now kept.safe behind a barrier with a staff member attending to them. The nice young man was kind enough to pick a chick up for my 20 month old grandson to see. The baby was allowed to pet the chick and it made his day. We were careful to monitor that he was safe and gentle with the chick and he made us proud. Bought some Toddler and infant Carhart clothes that were well priced. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good experience overall.
Their prices on garden supplies are typically good. I ordered some resin whiskey barrel planters, and theirs were larger and less expensive than anywhere else.The place is a mess though, and I waited quite a while- both in the customer service lane and later in a checkout lane.

One might think that a large volume store catering to farmers and their ilk would have good prices. They dont. Nearly everything here is more expensive than even alternative big box stores. Combine that with a terrible layout, long lines and limited options, and its hard to imagine why anyone would shop here for anything but the most specialized products you cant get elsewhere.Definitely a huge disappointment and Id go just about anywhere else if what i was looking for was available elsewhere.

I love rural king, for everything but chicks. I bought 6 within two weeks they all had died. May not have been their fault or they could have been sick when I got them. But everything else is nice

Front staff are great. Gun counter acts like you bringing your business to their job that puts food in their mouth is a hassle and a waste of their time. Evidently theyd rather continue their conversation and ignore you than make a sale. I guess retail staff didnt suffer in the pandemic,theyre obviously above the rest of us. I understand people have bad days but for all the customers to mention it amongst ourselves,theres a problem.

Horrible customer service have called a bunch of times literally like 30 you get a busy signal. Finally talked to someone he said there was no one in the mechanic shop so transferred me to customer service after sitting on hold for 20 minutes the phone call got answered and hung up. I called back left on hold once again for someone else to answer and say no one else is in the mechanic shop so obviously they are not working and thats why I havent been called about my item for days.

My tractor is old and almost worn out. I needed to replace it. I didnt want to get into a situation where the tractor was undersized and underpowered. That is the reason the current tractor got into its current condition. I did a ton of research and I was going between a couple of different brands. After looking at the specifications and the other benefits the RK line offers including the warranty. I chose to check out the RK tractors. I purchased a RK37 shuttle shift to replace my yanmar 2610d. I had to purchase the tractor at a store that is further away from my regular store. The sale went smooth. When I got the tractor home, the next day I was anxious to see what tractor had. I hooked up my box blade and graded my entire campground. The tractor never hiccuped. For 5 hours in the Tennessee sun in August it graded and pulled stone in 3rd gear 2wd my yanmar could only get into 2nd gear in 4wd with the differential locked. The tractor was easy to drive, easy to operate and I was done 3 hours earlier and it did a better job. Im looking forward to jumping back on and using the backhoe attachment and bushhog. Im very satisfied Im sure you will be too.

The parking lot is a nightmare. Other then that I love this place. They have a wide variety of stuff and great prices too. This is my go to spot for my husbands jeans and coats.

Whenever my husband and I come into Tennessee we visit Rural King. It holds memories for us. My fatherinlaw owned a farm before passing and this was his go to spot for all things farming. So part of our coming in and stopping at Rural King is because we remember papa. Also, because my husband, being a farm boy, know that some of the things that we cant find in stores in our state can be found in Rural King in Clarksville Tennessee.I like the live chicks❤
I was shopping for a new break away collar for my cat. Sadly, RK only had one option. I made no purchase at this time. Thankfully, because the line was very long. Which is great, that means they have a Lot of consumers making purchases here.
They have anything you would need as far as farm supplies, gardening and pet food and supplies goes...All kinds of different work boots and shoes.
Your store presents a variety of anything and everything under the sun. It was very interesting. I went in for one item and found other items that I needed but did not realize was there for great prices.
I love rural King its a nice place to go to get plants and I love plants they have a great variety and from my experiences the associates always are eager to help if needed and actually ask you if you need help thats better than some of these other places which we wont mention, but this rural King is it good experience when you got to go get you some plants.

I love Royal King. Why would anyone buy animal feed anywhere else? Way better prices in my opinion than other places, and same or better quality.They also carry great clothing items, boots to fit everyones style and size.And dont forget to grab some snacks on the way out!

I always love going to Rural King but on this day. They had only 2 cashiers (bless their hearts) . I was 10th in line with 4 behind me. The other line was just as long. The cashiers were getting is through as fast as they could.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ go to the Cashiers
This place is good for country boys and farmers and you can buy dog food in big bags fairly reasonable.
