The people here are amazing and always there to help. I took my 2005 Ford Mustang to get Forged Internals, got the best deal of my life, and Jeff gave me constant updates until it was finished. While it was being built, my friends had some issues and we brought the vehicle to them. They were happy to help and fixed it right away. 10/10 would recommend for automotive work, whether it be light work, or heavy modification.

Took my first car there. After putting in a new transmission, getting a new top placed on it and taking it here for a motor swap my car burst into flames while I was asleep in my bed. It almost caught my house on fire and only 4 months after taking it here. The car sat for 35+ hours then just burst into flames. Dude cost me my car that I had 16gs invested and almost my house. Then after asking him what we can do about this since my motor was under warranty. He said oh the fire isn’t covered in the warranty but I can get you into another mustang for $4500

Purchased a foxbody roller. This is the second time I have purchased something from him. Car was what he said it was going to be with the exception of a small hidden rust spot. He did come off the price of the roller to accommodate for that. Helped me load it on the car dolley and even followed me to make sure I could get the tire aired. Has been a great guy and company to deal with both times. Will definitely check with him as I need more parts along this build.

I had a great experience with this place, he did a motor swap on my F150 .. the owner met me at the shop after hours both times for the drop off and pick up.. it took a little bit longer then he said it would but thats because he wanted it done right that thats what I wanted and he kept me updated almost everyday. I am very lucky I found Mustang Speed & Restoration. I had new gears put on my S550 mustang and Jeff did an absolutely fantastic job. Since this is one of the more difficult modifications to do, I wanted to make sure an expert was doing it right the first time. Jeff also installed a new exhaust and vertical links as well. Jeff is absolutely amazing at what he does, seems to know everything about every generation of mustang, and I highly recommend anyone looking to get work done to their mustang to check out this shop.

I was referred to this shop through a friend. Since the first time I took my car there last year (she is 11 years old and has seen better days), I will not go anywhere else! I have been there 3 or 4 times now for various repairs (including new CV joints, new belt, and body work and axle repair after an accident) and each and every time they have taken me in on very short notice, given me an outstanding price (trust me, I asked around first!) completed the work quickly, and on top of that they are always courteous and professional. They have often fixed my car over the weekend when I called them on a Friday. Talk about a load off your mind! Jeff and the guys are truly amazing. I am so grateful to my friend for sending me there, and I give them 5 stars across the board!!!!! If you are looking for an excellent mechanic who is honest and affordable, this is the shop for you.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE OR YOULL BE SORRY!!! Before I started project gave him cash for parts told Jeff I didn’t want my car sitting and to call when ALL parts were in. He called back said everything was in after bringing my car back and forth 4 times I had to take to real mechanic to get it fixed Cost me more money to Gabe all the things he said he did properly. Had a leak I told him I thought it was power steering it was master cylinder he didn’t replace was leaking. Then he said I told him it was the power steering fluid I said I amNot the mechanic. Asked him to give money back he refused. Showed him rims I wanted to put on they rub he said he told me So many lies I can’t type all of them Paid cash and now I have to fix all the things I paid for plus all the stuff he didn’t fix but I paid for SO BEWARE NICE GUY BIT WILL RIP YOU OFF AND COME UP WITH REASONS WHY ITS YOUR FAULT !!!I never claim to be a mechanic

Very helpful... They saved me a lot of money. I was told one thing from a shop by my house and come to find out they where way off from being right. Mustang speed and restoration found the problem and fixed it for much less.

Let me start with my truck 04 f150 5.4l 3v Triton crew cab 8in lift and 35in tires. blew my valve cover off when my cam phaser skiped a tooth. Got my truck to him he looked at it told me what he recommended(rebuild timing,cam lockout, tune ECT) needless to say a big job. He called me the next day saying he was about done and I was shocked. I figured about a week turn arround. 3 days. 3 days people. I will not take my truck anywhere else and will drive 45 minutes accross the skyway and St Pete to get it to his shop. My truck runs so smooth and starts without a problem now. Hands down best dude with fords. Saved me time and alot of money. give him a call before you guys call FORD. Be paitient hes a busy guy

Horrible experience. Do not believe a word owner says. Will push you to rebuild your engine vs buying a rebuilt one. Had my vehicle for almost 2 months in the first 6months of having it “rebuilt” there. Vehicle WILL NOT be ready when promised.. I guarantee he will have it days if not weeks longer than promised!!

DO NOT take your car here. Even if they did the work for free, WALK AWAY. You will end up with more damage and costs than before you took your car to them. Place is a disaster and shouldnt be allowed to do business

I asked jeff to build me an engine. He did. Unfortunately for me it was the wrong engine that I had told him to build! Most companies would have said too bad and made me pay for another engine. But jeff let me bring the old engine back and traded me for the correct engine for my ford F250 superduty which he rebuilt for me. He was very helpful with information on the install with myself and my associates and he checked back with me to see if I had any problems. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Id recommend Msr to anyone. Thanks again Jeff!!!

Will never go back to again, cost double to fix what they messed up. Parts lost/broken and had to replace again. Constant excuses to why things arent done and delay on timelines.

They are scammers and a liar, they sold me a sounding engine, they told me to return it to the workshop that they paid for the tow truck when I went to pick it up, they said it had been a problem with the mechanic and my mechanic had not touched it, that engine that I bought was an engine old man that barely served, therefore what they sell does not work and I also had to pay for the crane because they did not pay for it in the end
