This is my new go-to place for optical. Such an absolute pleasure. From the doctor to checking out with Janay (she was so fantastic!) it was just a seamless experience. Do yourself a favor and just forget the standard eye doctor visit. Come to Target.

Purchasing eye ware at Target in Clermont was the best experience with purchasing glasses Ive ever had. The sales assistant was excellent, the selection was great and there were options to upgrade to better frames and lenses (which I did). Best of all, the assistant saved me a lot of money by linking up my BCBS health insurance. No other optical store has ever suggested it. Great experience!

My husband and I do our glasses at the Clermont location for a couple of years now. They never mention about the 3 weeks waiting to receive the glasses. They should be upfront on waiting time and not say up to 2 weeks which I’m not quiet there but it looks i will have to wait more than expected. I could have gone to other places. Dishonesty is the worst when doing business
I had my eye exam elsewhere but Target Optical personnel were extremely knowledgeable & helpful and they have a wide variety of styles & colors of eyewear. My selection process, along with the ordering process went flawlessly.

I walked in the optical dept and immediately was asked how can I help you?I asked if they repaired glasses, and yes, she immediately started working on the repair which was difficult because had to find the perfect fit small screw to fix the broken stem. I have gone to 3 other places and no one could fix the problem, but this very talented young lady knew what she was doing, and fixed it in a flash! A true professional! Thank you so much!
My experience with Jennifer was fantastic. She wanted to fix my glasses before I even mentioned them to her. I came in about contacts. She helped me with those too.I left with knowledge about my insurance plan and how contact fittings work. All thanks to her.

They are always amazing and fast. They took both kids together even though 1 was scheduled for a later timeframe. They were fast getting them in and tested and the optometrist was very patient with my ADHDer so I am very thankful for that. The ladies in the front were able to give me details about coverage with both insurances and let me know about sales. I think her name was Janay. Anyways, they were all very helpful and it was a well-oiled machine. Thank you.

This is my 3rd time going there. First time was great. 2nd and 3rd time which was today was horrible. The doctor is really the only reason I go back. The staff is terrible. The second time I went they were rude acted like I was wrong for bringing my small children with me. 3rd time she quoted me a price and when we got to the register it was a 100$ difference. That’s unacceptable.
I have been going to Target Optical for several years now. Dr. Nguyen is very kind, gentle and knowledgeable. She always takes the time to answer all my questions, and I never feel rushed. The optician team is always warm and friendly when I come into the store. Chris is the one who helps me order my contacts and glasses every year, he is very knowledgeable and is always sure to help me find the best price. My experience with Target Optical in Clermont is excellent, I highly recommend!
If I could give zero stars I would. Took my daughter and we were there for two hours because the doctor was overbooked. I then made two appointments for my sons 6 weeks in advance. Confirm the appointments the day before and when I get there I’m told that the appointments were cancelled. They don’t know how but they were. Complete waste of my day and of course they don’t have any other appointments for another month. Don’t get me wrong Dr. Nguyen is wonderful but the actual optical service department is awful. I would rather drive all the way to Orlando for more competent service.
Overall great experience
I went to get my glasses repaired and it was just missing a screw I was told their policy is they couldn’t help my because I purchased my glasses online. This made know sense to me all I needed was a small screw put in. As a military service member anyone who has a policy that can’t help you with the simplest thing is a company not worth spending money with ever again.
They treat you like they are doing you a favor. They just want to get you in and out.
I’ve gone twice to this Target Optical and both times have had great experiences. No issues with insurance etc. coming back soon in August!

Website says they accept walk-ins. I drove to the location with my daughters to be told that theyre completely booked until March 19, and then closing because the store is remodeling.
Very disappointed. They lack of communication skill. My son is really sad. We make an appointment for contact and now they say we don’t do it in the afternoon so now I have to go back the next day.
First time visiting Target Optical and my experience was fantastic. Dr Nguyen is very nice and thorough. Nalini and Chris were very helpful and informative on the style of glasses that fit me. I get compliments daily on them. I will be recommending Target Optical in Clermont to all of my friends and family.
Experience was good when I first went for my eye exam and to get new glasses. My whole perception changed when I came back to pick up the glasses where I wasn’t even greeted but instead in a very rude way “how can I help you” I told NANINI I was there just to pick up. She asked me to wait she went and took care of other people that was trying out glasses and after she was done seeing me standing there at the desk, she decided to ask other people if they needed any help and those people told her “he was first” referring to me. I did get mad of course. Bad costumer service I guess, they don’t give a ... about the clients. (NANINI I believed was the name I read on the name tag)
My family and I have used Target Optical several times and always pleased. I just wish they had the big selection of glasses that they used to have. I dont care for Wal Mart but they have a bigger selection.
I went to this location a few days ago to get new glasses. The west indian lady or guyanese that works there tried to rush me and she has not good customer service skills.. After a long process (because their computer was slow) she gave me a quote for new eyeglasses and told me that they were about to close and that she was going to save my information. I went back a few days later and the information was not on their computer. I decided to go somewhere else. I do not recommend target optical in clermont fl.
Make sure if you get a weekend appointment that the doctor normally work weekends. Mine was filling in and I didnt know until I went to make my follow up. But the staff was friendly.
Over all, the team members I met with were very nice and helpful and the buying experience was pleasant. However, the reason for the 2 star review, is that my initial expectations were set high due to the aforementioned good experience - However, these expectations were eventually met with the same demise as many corporations - the lack of after-sale service. Meaning, my card has been swiped, funds withdrawn and I am left feeling like I made a poor decision.I went to this target optical due to the fact I had what in my mind was a critical issue - my current pair of prescription glasses was broken. I made the judgement call to go this location becayse of expediency - it was out of my insurance network but I was willing to assume the additional cost because I could be seen so quickly, my regular doctor was schedule over 8 days out. I purchased two pairs of glasses; sunglasses and a new pair of prescription glasses i use for driving and computer-work. I was told they would arrive in 1-2 weeks. Sure enough, at the one week mark I got a call my glasses were ready. I went to pick them up; JUST my sunglasses were ready. Not a problem, they still had a week within the timeframe my expectations had been set to.Today, on the two week anniversary of the promise to provide me with my glasses - I visit the store as I had not heard anything. Upon which time the nice lady informs me they were back ordered, it has since been resolved and they are still working on them at the lab - a time frame of when they would be recieved could not be provided to me. A back order... I get it, this happens in business. What also happens, that should not happen is a failure to communicate this information to a consumer who made his purchasing decision based on expediency.In my mind, dealing with situations like this in my own business, communication was failed on multiple occasions.1. If the glasses I ordered were discovered to be on backorder, why was I not informed at the time of purchase? If your sourcing software or order taking process does not accomodate this information Id recommend getting that resolved.2. If the glasses were discovered to be back order a few days later, why was I not contacted so that I could chose different frames and get my pair within the promised timeframe.3. When I arrived to get my first pair of glasses, why was I not notified of the backorder at that point? so that I could make the decision as a consumer to go a different route as far as frames.4. When my glasses did not arrive on the proposed deadline - why was I not called to be made aware there was going to be an extended waiting-time.Plain and simple, if you are going to be in the business of providing a product people need to function, you yourselves as a business should also be able to function. I am really disappointed I took on the additional out of pocket expense to be let down by this level of service. However, it does not suprise me, afterall - my money is already in your account why would there be a sense of urgency to deliver results. You already got the benefit of the transaction for yourselves, nevermind mine as the consumer.
