Wonderful experience with the stores pick up service. Great, helpful staff. Quickly helped me while I was in a bind traveling to Cleveland for a party and had forgotten my supplies at home.

Horrible just horrible. I went there one day totally stuff all over the floor n then get looked at like I have no right to be there. Then come back another time asked if I can get some balloons aired up. I was told it was going be a hour n half wait time. I just wanted 2 balloons filled up. It wasnt like I was doing a huge party. I understand first come first serve. But 2 balloons wouldnt have changed your timeline. Over all thanks for no good service. I take my business else where.

I walked in after about 1pm to get balloons for my nieces birthday today. I read the sign saying to order balloons at registers 1-4 (there’s no signage for time of order restrictions). I walk to register 1 where an employee was sloppily bent over the counter eating a Little Debbie cookie. She told me that they don’t take balloon orders until 5. What kids party (5 year olds) is happening after 5pm? The store was 80-90 percent empty and the rest of the team were working on other products. I’m highly disappointed that party city would create a rule like that and allow such a low level of professionalism. Experiences like that are not profitable… please train your employees in professionalism (yes employees should be allowed to eat, but not at the expense of looking sloppy and performing in a lazy manner) and think about your customers needs and how to best fulfill them. Small balloon orders should be an exception to the rule. (I only needed 3)

I came in late but they were accommodating and even helped me pick out balloons for a wonderful bouquet. My third order from this store ... They are excellent on every way,!Update! Next day Noon.As I stated the balloon bouquet was beautiful. However, by Noon all of the latex balloons are lying on the floor. The specialty balloon is fine. We were so shocked we thought something had punctured them! Nope just 18 deflated balloons. How embarrassing. I spoke with the store manager who made the excuse that the balloons should have been filled with High Float. How was I to know that? This was an expensive order, made in-store directly with the rep filling the order, but now I am being blamed for their failure to inform me. Of course no refund, no apology. Just blame the customer. 1) no more purchases here! 2) will definitely followup with their corporate or franchise offices, and 3) looking for their competitor.

Great store for all your party supply needs. I recommend setting up an email with them so you can get coupons supplies can get costly. Also I highly recommend placing balloon orders in advance. Especially special occasion balloons like mothers day, graduation, and Halloween. Specialty balloons sell out quickly.

It’s sad that some workers like to use the costumes and place them back in bags for others to use when they can carry covid or anything and think it’s ok since they work there but have no respect for others during this time with the covid issue and they post this on social media

The service was okay. They dont seem happy to work there. No one smiled. Went for balloons the wait was very very long. The patrons were more awful than the employees could ever been. I continued to shop during my wait and there were several young women with small children cussing at their babies and small kids! Just awful! This was my first time there. I do not plan on returning. Management really needs to work on moral at this location.

The young lady at the counter was super sweet. They were very busy with balloon orders but she helped me get one balloon for my older moms birthday!!! Thanks for making our day!!

SHAME ON YOU PARTY CITY ( CLEVELAND STEELYARD ). PLEASE BE AWAREJUNE 21ST : Order placed for 45 inflated balloons to be delivered on July 4th between 2pm and 4pm.JUNE 27TH : i received a email stating that my balloons were delivered.placed a call to Party City to advise of email received. I was concerned because emailed stated that balloons were delivered and it was on the wrong date. Spoke with Party City employee to address the issue, and was advised to disregard email, and she confirmed that my order was received and will be delivered on July 4th between the hours of 2 pm - 4pm as requested.JUNE 28TH : Call placed to Party City Corporate office to ensure my order will be fulfilled. Left a message on Corporate voicemail / NEVER received a return call.JUNE 28TH : Placed another call to Party City (Cleveland Steelyard) spoke with Manager on duty. She confirmed once again that my order was received and will be delivered on requested date.JULY 4TH: At 4:00pm, placed a call to store ( my party starts at 4:30pm), was advised that they will need an extra 30 min to an hour to blow up the balloons and another hour to have them delivered.JULY 5TH : NO BALLOONS !!!! Called Party City to inquire about the missing balloons. I was told, they use a 3rd party for delivery (UBER) and my order was not picked up, and that I would be refunded 3-7 business days. No apology, NOTHING! To top it all off, this Manager was very rude, hung up on me, then placed me on hold without warning.LETS JUST SAY.... I WILL NEVER CONTACT PARTY CITY FOR ANYTHING, EVER!!!.*** IF IT WERE AN OPTION, I WOULD NEVER HAVE GIVEN ANY STAR ***

The store was nice. Had a great selection on balloons. But when I ordered a big anniversary balloon for $19.99 plus tax. It only lasted 5 days. But I also got balloons from the dollar store for $1 a piece, to go with the big balloons, since the dollar store doesnt carry them. And the small ones are still going strong 2 weeks later without deflating at all. So next time I wont spend as much money on a big one that clearly isnt being filled with pure helium.

Customer service needs improvement, especially from management. The manager on duty this morning was rude and unprofessional and he really needs a retraining on basic customer service. I am really disappointed with this experience. If I do use Party City again I will not come back to the Steelyard location.

Ordered curbside pickup and start in car for ten minutes after checking in. Had to go inside and wait in line for 10 more minutes. What is the point of offering curbside pickup? There were about 5 employees stocking shelves, poor management.

They sure have a lot of variety some prices are and some are low it depends what you get but. Its nice place and fun to shop at

Ghetto location to begin with so I expected a dirty store however they had NO STOCK. The shelves were completely picked over or empty. I walked in and walked out and drove 20 mins to the new Party Place in Avon. They were very clean, well-stocked and had good prices.

Party City is an incredible store. They have just about everything you need for a good party. However, when I went into the store all of the workers were assisting with blowing up balloons. This store is large. It would have been great if there was staff on hand to help people who didnt need a balloon.. Other than that its a great store.

Why does it take so long to blow up a few balloons? And why is it so hard to prepare an online order well and on time?

I couldnt shop in this location. The juveniles just not caring about the items they were throwing around and being unruly in the store is enough to make me not want to come back. The poor employee was trying his best to get them out. The staff was very nice and helpful. The store was clean and organized for the most part. This location, I just feel isnt very safe to shop.

Bad customer service very rude

Had a lot of trouble getting just what I needed. I had some pretty specific needs for New Years balloons, and the clerks did not know what was in stock. Worse than not knowing, they gave me wrong prices, said items were OUT of stock that were actually in the store, and miscounted the balloons when filling the order. Never mind the high prices, or the super long time it took to fill the order (but it was a holiday, so thats understandable), it was the unhelpful customer service that is the reason I probably wont use them again.

This place is usually the place I go to if I am looking for some type of costume or party decoration because it is convenient. They do have a pretty good variety of stuff. Some of the quality is cheap though, so you need to be aware. I like that if you are looking for cheap knick-knacks for a costume or party, they have it organized by the each color. At some stations though, things are picked through and not stocked very neatly.

The selection is great and the prices aren’t bad. But with Wal-Mart right across the way it’s a lot cheaper to go there for party supplies. But for an event like a Birthday or anything themed or coordinated this place is the best.

This store was kind of a mess. Thus the 4 stars. A little hard to find what we were looking for because of that. However, we did find it and purchase it. Lots of choices of products, lots of colors to choose from, cool unique gifts. Nice staff.

While the location and variety was good, the customer service was not. I was looking for something in particular that they only sold online, but instead of the manager helping me to come up with an alternative...he basically dismissed me and told me they did not have anything even close to what I needed. I looked around the store for myself and found PLENTY of things that would meet my needs. I was very disappointed in that, the manger of a “party supply store” was unable to at the very least, guide me to what would be an adequate solution. I expected more because my experiences at the other location have been much more accommodating.

The time for the last order should be displayed. And better customer service is required. Please

I got there just before closing time the clerk was busy finishing up with last of the customers. I asked if their was someone else to help me and she called the manager and she hoped me fine all my party needs for my granddaughter birthday party at school. We came to Party City for my now soon to be 15 year old grandson in Middleburg heights. I always bought their Halloween costumes there its a great store and and they keep all different kinds of things to accommodate the customers. I want them to always stay in business they are A KEEPER.

Whew chile, the ghetto. The cashiers working there were completely rude and idiotic. Ive never waited so long in my life for one balloon. I also dont think Ive ever been to a store where I had to talk to the employees behind the counter (to ask for the balloon I wanted) and wasnt even greeted nor told to have a nice day. This treatment was across the board for all the other customers as well as I heard them tell multiple people Come down here as to direct them to a register then wordlessly scanned items

I rate based on customer service because when it comes to products, you can get most items from other retailers. With that said, this customer service was extremely rude and unhelpful. I was sold a product that was faulty and was told I could not return it, even with my receipt. The staff, like I said, was very rude and for that I will not come back to this place. It is a privilege for a company to have me spend my money with them.

This was my first time at Party City and I must say I was totally impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the store even though it looked like they were getting ready to set up everything for Halloween. I was just amazed by this. Either they have very little business and the employees have plenty of time to clean and reset or the team are really in top of things. I like to think its the latter. I am one star short of 5 for one reason. Since it was my first time there I just assumed that the line for checkout began by where the employee was blowing up balloons. So I stood there with no acknowledgement from the guy blowing up the balloons. There were a couple other people waiting so I didnt want to just walk in front of them to a register. The balloon guy should have asked if I was there for balloons or not and directed me to checkout. I was in a hurry and this was a waste of my time to stand there and try to figure things out on my own.

Anyone can just walk in and ask for balloons without a receipt. My boyfriend has been waiting for our balloons for 30 mins now that have already been paid for and with receipt in hand. He has been told that someone has already picked them up BS. We have the receipt and why would we lie for balloons.This is the worst party city its not just walmart down there its just a really bad juju in that area. Never again.
