Not dependable. Wore the device around my neck. Took one very bad fall and another resulting in abrasions and bruising and again no one on the device responded as to my well being or if I needed help in getting up or worse, requiring medical assistance. I plan to research the market and see if there is something better than this company.
The call center uses people who can not communicte with older people. The information vital for my moms safety was not correct in her chart and they called the wrong person when she may have needed assistance.Disorganized & using people who can not speak englsh well or understand an elderly womans speech is just bad care.So last night 4 months after my 1st review, my mom fell and Phillips Life line DID NOT CALL ME OR THE SQUAD !!!! They let her talk incoherently for over 20 minutes and when she could no longer talk they called the wrong people, emergency responder 2 & 3 not me ( left mesages on the phones). Phillips states it was handled wrong. In the AM I called again to make sure they had it right and the guy gave me lip telling me people have the right to refuse treatment.( even if they are confused fronm a fall) Also the woman who cant speak english left an incoherent message on my phone an hour later 2 hours after she fell. THEY DID NOT TELL EMS where the key hidden for the front door and they were trying to break down her door when the neighbor showed them the key by the door. A chinese fire drill.
