I loved coming here! They have such a variety of candy and snacks from multiple decades. They even have box sets you can buy from a certain decade. I bought my mom the one that was from the 50,60 & 70s and she loved it! I got the 80s because they were out of the 90s box but i still knew all the candy that was in it. Would definitely come back its worth the over 3 hour drive to make that trip back for me! They also have a soda shop that has a ton of different flavored pops and ice cream!
Fun store with a good soda shoppe. The candies available within the store are everything you can imagine including real candy bugs. The setup is clean and organized as well. The soda shoppe, which is connected to the store, had a wide variety of specialty soda and ice cream treats. The apple parfait was good but didnt match both the picture or description. Nevertheless, the treats were very good and everyone enjoyed them.
A fun place to visit as a novelty. The prices are mostly pretty fair. A nice filler activity for a day out or especially if you have kids. The only bad thing I have to say is that compared to when I was last there years ago, the store seemed very disorganized and messy. I contributed a lot of this to is being a busy Saturday afternoon... but some of it seemed like it had been an ongoing issue. Overall though definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. Would like to add that all of the staff were super friendly, especially considering how busy they were. We barely waited in line at all despite the foot traffic.
Regardless of age, you’ll feel like a kid in a candy store here! Perfect place for locals or as a tourist destination. Mini golf, ice cream parlor, and lots and LOTS of candy. Bulk candy, bagged candy, fancy candy, gum, chocolate, you name it. Everything from old-time stuff that you thought they didn’t make anymore (Clark’s Teaberry Gum, candy cigarettes, Mallo Cups, pixie stix) to new stuff your kids and grandkids will be familiar with (Spongebob candies, Nerds, etc).
Absolutely Amazing! This is one of the highlights of any trips to Cleveland. This Cleveland local business started small but since they moved to the new location it has been extremely bountiful. All of the different varieties of candy I dare u to find something they done have. The ice cream shoppe they opened a couple years ago is adorable. They have swings at all the tables inside a ton of outdoor seating. As well as murals and art to make you think of a fun time. The fudge sauce is A-1!
When you have a taste for candies of the past....this is DEFINITELY the spot! From bagged candy to scoops by the pound, hard candy, chocolates, gummies, and just about everything in between. This candy store is HUGE, be prepared to take your time and stroll through memory lane.Take a look at the owners collection of trucks and cars (not for sale). They even have a game section field with paddle balls and yo-yos.Have a taste from an old fashioned soda shop? Would like to play a round of putt putt? You can do all of this after you fell your belly with all the sweet treats.Conveniently located on Brookpark Road in Cleveland, easy access from I480.
It was awesome. We drove in from Butler, Pa and this was our 1st stop. Brought back so many memories from our childhood. Bought a lot of goodies for our 3 day stay.
Was amazed of the selection of candy that was on hand. The soda shop was great. Big portion.
This candy factory is amazing. I have been shopping here every week since I moved to CLEVELAND. No matter how old you are B A Sweetie will wake up the kid in you. As you enter the door it is a play on all of your sight smell and visual aspects. So I know you cant wait to taste all there is in this amazing place. I advise all to go and stay to taste and play there in candy heaven!💞💞💞💞👍👍🔥🌟I give this place a round of applause... It makes me happy I hope it will for you!
Absolutely loved the soda shop! Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Excellent with helping us choose sodas when we asked them. Quite the stock with how many sodas and ice creams they had. Absolutely amazing and will visit again. 12/10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Been planning this 1 & 1/2 hour trip since March of 2020 just before everything got shut down...so worth the wait!A little disappointed that Golfland wasnt open during spring break but gives us another excuse (besides candy & ice cream) to come back. Enjoyed the soda shoppe, kids loved sitting in the swings to eat ice cream.
I came out with candies I didnt know that I needed. I have candies that I had forgotten about. I have candies for months all thanks to b.a. Sweetie Candy Company! The inner child in me was hopping up and down at the rows and rows of candy and goodies! What an amazing store. Usually I wouldnt stop at a candy shop but everything I read was saying... This is a must see. And yes it is! They have a soda shoppe and a mini golf/ put-put golf. The selection is amazing from current candies to old candies. Prices are very affordable. Pretty easy to get in and out of, easily seen from the road. Lots of parking available. Tons of fun photo ops so have your phones charged/cameras. Highly recommend for both children and the inner children spirits!
This place is huge! Made a mistake bringing 7 kids and letting them loose here, lol. It is nice to see all the selections and everyone there is so friendly.
Sufh a cool place to experience and explore. Between the miniature golf, Icecream & soda parlor, and the entire warehouse of candys of all kinds its so much fun. The golf course was very fun and super cool to walk though with its candy theme it felt like walking through a candyland game board. The ice-cream is so tasty and the scoops are pretty big. They also have so many sodas/pops I ended up getting Pickle and PB&J flavored.
New facility is amazing. Very helpful staff could find anything I could name. Candy stacked ten feet. Easy to find. Ohio toll road to 480 bypass and back on. Lots of parking. Still sorting my treasures. Many varieties not seen in decades.
This was our 1st time coming here. We saw the advertisement on FB & did the 2 1/2 hr drive. Im glad we went because it was something different that weve never done before. So, now we can go on to tell our friends in hopes that theyll wanna go & experience it. We also went over to the Soda Shoppe & that was pretty cool too. We ordered the self-serve icecream sundaes & those were pretty tasty.
Amazing variety of candy! Ive been looking for war heads all around rocky river and ended up only finding them here so that was one extra point for sweeties. Anything you can think of, they have, at decent prices, and a friendly staff. Its also fun for the kids AND has healthy options! There really is something for everyone
I Love It!! Golf Land, candy, and ice cream with the family was wonderful. Great time, great price, and very efficient customer service. Although the cleanliness was less than stellar; it wasnt horrible. However, I understand with the heavy customer traffic, pandemic, and lack of workers, it can be tough to keep the areas tidy!
I understand its a warehouse like environment... But there was lots of sections of empty shelves and a lot of disorder all around. Understandably it would take a very long time to maintain the shelves but it would be a really cool plus if the place maintained order and kept full shelves.I had no staff interactions while I visited until I met the cashier. I guess I just feel like the place should have a couple staff members out on the floor helping guests. A visible presence on the floor answering questions and just being a happy person for kids and customers in general, because a lot of kids and tourists come through here. But its just a dead warehouse feel full of candy I guess. It wouldnt hurt to have some people running around with big smiles on their faces that also organize shelves.. maybe its tight margins... I just feel like this place has some opportunities to make it a better experience... 3/5 stars.
Pretty much any type of candy you would want… they have! Fun place to go. Next time we want to try the ice cream shop!
Fun and very pleasant atmosphere and very busy. Excited about all the goodies!
The candy is fine. But the Campbells popcorn is always stale smh. Wasted my money
The best way to describe b.a. Sweeties is the Costco of candy. They have a lot of popular candies in bulk, as well as some old favorites. Not much in the way of international candies. Overall worth a visit, if only to pick up a big box of your favorite candy, or stock up for several Halloween parties.
Outstanding customer service. I was looking for a bulk amount of a certain candy. The shelf spot was empty, but the young lady at the checkout and another young lady, Michelle, packaged some up for me very quickly. Both were very friendly and a credit to your organization.
Big candy store/warehouse. It has a lot of candy I have never seen before. Definitely a place to check out if youre having a big event like wedding or birthday party they have many bulk items or color coordinated items. I was surprised by the amount of people in there on a weekday but this place really does have every kind of candy you can imagine.
It is truly an amazing experience!!! Theres more then just candy as well. They make there own soda, Theres an ice cream shop and putt putt golf. The biggest candy store in the United States and thats a fact!!!
Coming here is Always a great experience and the employees are always so friendly and helpful
Had so much fun looking at all the candy. Love finding things I used to get growing up. My boys had a blast picking out there treats. Topped it off with ice cream and a round of golf. A great place to spend a day out with the kids.
Best place ever to get your sweet tooth on!! And I love how they have Jelly Belly. My all time favorite!!!! Service, always great.
Kind of like a Sams club or Costco for candy. They have a lot of things you dont see everyday, as well as soda and bulk stuff. Cool to go and check out if youre in the area!
Makes you feel like a nut kid saying wow I want this no I want that, oh I cant make up my mind all my favorite childhood sweets are hear and collection of Die cast cars and Trucks anda Malt Soda shop. Huge place, staff very helpful . Clean place. Attached to other business run by them.
Overwhelmingly huge candy choices in the store. Aisles and Aisles of different candy that you can buy Im single and some in bulk. Didnt stop and grab a snack but will have to come back and try some ice cream. We also went to the putt putt course and enjoyed the shady colorful course. The attendant was very friendly and welcoming.
From out of town, never experienced such great variety of candy before. My daughter sure had a blast shopping here!
We love this place!!! Always fun to golf and visit the candy shop for a snack or 20!!!
This place is amazing. Huge selection of candy. The children got overwhelmed since its SOO much but still a great place.
The most fun shopping experience ever. I am a big kid when Im at b.a.Sweetie Candy Co. I also want to mention Ben, the man that waited an me. The coolest, nicest, guy!! 🐭💜☮️
I love this place. Great place for a date night.
Aisle after Aisle of Delicious Sweets and sours as well. than stop in at the sweet shoppe for great tasting ice cream and food.
This place is amazing! Giant selection of candy and huge selection of Pez! This was my first visit and I was amazed. I will definitely be going back! If you love candy then this is the place for you!
A blast from the past every candy you could ever think of Turkish taffy, necco wafers, Ferrara pan candies jolly rancher.etc a fun place to Christmas shop
Lets start off by saying one thing. Wow. I absolutely believe it when I hear this is the largest candy store in the country. Wall to wall goodies, sometimes nearly from floor to ceiling!Whats better than that? Low prices! I walked out of there with enough candy to placate an angry mob of children for a week, and it didnt break the bank at all, thanks to the large selection of bulk candy they have on offer. And not just stuff like Hersheys or Jolly Ranchers. Stuff like Jelly Nougats, Necco Wafers, and even those dehydrated marshmallows you normally find in Lucky Charms cereal! This place is sure to bring out the kid in ANY adult who visits, and I cannot recommend it enough.
My husband took me on a road trip weekend stay to Cleveland when we were dating to visit b.a Sweetie Candy Company which is the biggest candy store in America. We love it here. We especially love the millions of different and crazy flavors of sodas and the ice cream parlor! I got the best milk shake I’ve ever had from there😍
Best Birthday Ever! So much fun for the grandchildren...and me!!
Got in an hour before close on Halloween so the shelves were hit pretty hard and still had a very big variety.
Took 2 teenage grandkids. But we were all kids in a candy shop! Great selection of candy. We also enjoyed 18 holes of putt putt. Fun couple of hours.
Dingy run down. Hot as can be in the store as well as the soda shop. No AC at all. The registers kept going down. People packed in like sardines. Employees rude. Just a terrible experience. Would not recommend to anyone.
Oh my gosh! You guys, I have lived in Brook Park for 3 years and Ohio my entire life. I cannot believe this is the first time I have ever visited BA Sweeties before! My family and I came as my son will be 9 tomorrow and it surely did NOT disappoint! There were droves of people, but, the check out lines were very quick and the prices cant be beat. We will definitely be going back very soon!
Its a big candy store, nothing was inexpensive. Everything was normal or higher priced than most places that sell candy.Customer service could be much better, the Cashiers were cold and heartless. It could be a better experience as far as cleanliness as well, random candy crushed throughout the store, littered the floor. The selection was really good however and the soda shop was a cool touch.Needs to be more candy-themed.
Love this place I really do. Not trying to hurt feelings and I understand some people have medical conditions and yet it still bothers me how many grossly overweight people shop here often bringing overweight children :(. For every in shape human there are 15 people that needed a diet 10 years ago. If I owned the place I would petition the state to be a private club with a weight limit......
Normally this is one of my favorite places to shop at (its the little things in life). Today going in there half of the shelves were empty and the store was a mess. I am guessing they are understaffed but the staff that was stocking shelves were painful to watch. The one girl was restocking the gumballs ONE GUMBALL AT A TIME. The other took over 15 minutes to put back 2 items (there were a lot of kids there picking out candy-as there should be, so I was waiting in the same spots for quite a while). Overall I absolutely love this store and hope these workers were just tired or having a rough day and that day (Saturday August 28th) was not the normal for them now.
Its a warehouse full of candy for sale, what more is there to say?! ;)This is a neat place to browse through from time to time. They have a huge selection of candies, sold in individual units or bulk, including retro or throwback candies that arent in the mainstream any longer. Sometimes you can find flavors or variations that youll rarely see in the supermarket or gas station. They also have a nice selection of craft sodas as well as other snacks like popcorn, chips/crisps, and nuts.
Absolutely awesome! A lot of flashbacks from my childhood. They seriously have everything! Would definitely go back again!
Very nice store. My first time there. I was looking for a certain item and didnt find it.
Didnt know about this hidden gem but glad I found it. Fun place to shop for all your goodies including a variety of cotton candy and popcorn balls. Would definitely return and shop again.
A BJs for just sweets... So much. Not as pretty as other candy shops since it has that warehouse look, but it has amazing options. And then there is the soda shop and mini golf which are great. Fun and cavities for the whole family.
Always a pleasure coming in. The store must have been hit because their stock was limited in some aisles. We had a great time walking through. Bought wayyy to much but it will be enjoyed. Clean store wish people wouldnt walk on top of others. I should not have to tell other customers to back off of me.
This is such a fun candy store with a wide variety of unique sodas, interesting cotton candy flavors, a wall of jelly bean flavors, nostalgic candies, peeps, licorice, pez (including an assortment of dispensors), and so much more!
Great place to fulfill your candy desires! Walking through the store for the first time was overwhelming because of all the different products of sugary goodness!
Such an amazing venue! My first time here..I felt like a kid with so many great nostalgic candies to see. I actually came to scope out everything before I bring my 7 and 9 year old grandchildren. They will just be overwhelmed! Cant wait to also take them to mini golf too! As I was leaving after an hour I saw a family of 5 in the beginning of mini golf all dressed alike..so fun!
This place was absolutely amazing. Just go in and walk around and see all the different types of old candies. And the trucks on the wall. And do yourself a favor and visit the ice cream store! Order the hotdog made out of ice cream and the spaghetti and meat ball made out of ice cream! Your kids will love it! They even have tables with seats that are swings that come out of the ceiling!
There shouldnt be ANYTHING you cant find here.Candy, candy CANDY! They also have old games, toys, and family fun activities that are great for kids! (Or kids at heart) The nostalgia is HIGH here, be ready to shop like a kid who walked down to your childhood corner store with your allowance and buy some sweets! ... If that wasnt enough, they have an attached soda shop! Also, there are amazing ideas and items for decorators and event planners!Check this place out!
Love b.a. Sweetie, the best candy store with a vast selection, frozen treats and atmosphere. Fun wooden swings to enjoy your ice cream or one of their myriad sodas (pop). Playing put-put is the cherry on top for a complete experience. Highly recommend. 🍭🍨🍬
Very large place. Lots of candy old and new. Kids loved it here.
1st time here & I was impressed with all the ol skool candy!! Good place to buy candy in bulk for the kids!!
Prices now way too high, disorganized new location. Unable to find what I came in for.
Fun place. Lots of nostalgic candy, but definitely a little pricey. Can find most regular candy cheaper on sale at other stores.
Candy galore!! Biggest assortment of candy at awesome prices!
Amazing selection and ice cream
Beautiful store.. lots and lots and lots of candy. Old and new. But very pricey
Very interesting place. Supply shortages make getting what you want difficult at times. Prices are on average or better than in a store. Lots of selection when they can get product in.
Sweeties is an awesome place to visit. Huge candy warehouse with everything you can think of. So fun 😍
The Shake Shop portion makes vegan or dairy free vanilla shakes worth the $5.
What a giant place! Wish that the shelves werent so bare of products. However, I was still able to see how amazingly great it IS when stocked!❤
Absolutely unbelievable! We drove from Detroit and it was so worth. Can spend hours just searching through the endless isles of candy and Pez
Took the kids for candy and ice cream. They had a blast. Also fun to see all of the candies from when I was their age.
Huge selection of every candy and retro sweet treat you can imagine. Childhood favorites bring back many memories. The ONLY negative is prices tend to be a little on the high side. If you can find your treat at another store the price will most likely be lower but its fun to look.
